  1. Onderon would be a fantastic locale for a new stronghold. It's rustic, gorgeous to look at, would make a great spot for a Mandalorian hunting lodge or outpost, at least that's how I'm envisioning mine.
  2. There aren't enough bugs on Voss to make this one worth doing. The Empire has the one heroic they can reset over and over but the Republic has nothing. The bugs are too scattered, too sparse to make this worthwhile to do, and resetting the heroic on imp side is mind-numbing when you start hitting the lockout timer because you've reset too man phases recently. Take this one out of rotation. It was a bad idea and I'm amazed it survived whatever you people have for "testing" at Bioware. I'm not even asking for a replacement, there are plenty of other Hutt Space daily PO's to do, just get take this one out of the game. Simple as that.
  3. Agreed. It's a hassle to keep sending them out over and over and over again.
  4. Combat styles aren't what we asked for. We wanted a broadening of weapons available to each class. I play my mercenary to play a mercenary, or my guardian to play a guardian. I'm not opposed to the idea they're pitching but separate combat styles from weapon requirements. Let a commando use a blaster rifle instead of those obnoxiously oversized cannons, or let a marauder use a saberstaff instead of dual wielding sabers. But don't bind that concept to having to change out your entire class identity if you don't want to do so.
  5. Agreed, though I doubt they'll do it because they've all but abandoned GSF to its own devices. Aside from this they need to overhaul GSF, give it rewards that are worth investing the time in it because the only people who play it these days are the people who enjoy it for enjoyment's sake. Fleet commendations have next to no value aside from a few decorations or starship upgrades (and starship missions need their bugs fixed as well) and once you've unlocked every ship and unlocked/maxed out every part for them? Ship and fleet requisition are worthless as well.
  6. While they're at it they need to fix the facial tendrils and spikey bits so that they don't clip with face masks as well. But yes, I don't use the jewelry for my purebloods but I definitely would were it a bit more.... flamboyant, I guess? Like how we see with Vowrawn having the gold rings on his tendrils. It's like, why would you do that for an NPC but not give players the same option?
  7. You can still group for the single player stuff, you know that right? There is no rule saying you can't. I don't see what you're complaining about or what you want them to change lol
  8. Only if you are handing out flamethrowers as a sign-on bonus.
  9. I don't understand what your complaint is. New players being unable to participate in conquest? They can already? Questing, racking up kills, bonus objectives, heroic missions, pvp, flashpoints, crew skills, crafting, all of it contributes toward a conquest score.
  10. Aside from the fact that the casino should just be open year round because, one why wouldn't it be? And two, 11 months out of the year the casinos is empty and not used aside from the occasional class quest or BBA contacts? Here are things that NSNL needs to be improved: 1 - Slot machine tokens need to be a legacy-wide currency, not locked to individual characters. Since emperor slot machine tokens can be dropped from enemies as loot, if you get one on an alt while you're questing or something that means that token isn't going to help your main if they've got all the other tokens already. 2 - Just let us buy the emperor slot machine tokens. The grind for these things as a potential reward is a NIGHTMARE. It's not fun, it's a hassle. Particularly if you've already gotten dozens of copies of the Vectron Wraith and mercenary contract rewards, thousands of golden certificates and hundreds if not thousands of the cartel certificates as well. For people who already have all of that? Just let us buy the emperor slot machine tokens. 3 - Private gaming rooms. Or a VIP lounge, if you will. One of the biggest annoyances is competing with people over slot machines. Again, the casino is a giant piece of real estate in the game but the slot machines are confined to one room. If you're not going to fill the place with machines to spread people out so that they're not climbing over each other for turns to spin, then my solution would instead be this: Tack on a small, instanced off area adjacent to the main gaming floor. It could have oh I don't know, 20 or so smuggler machines, 10 or so kingpin machines, and a couple of emperor machines. Then, a player can just pay a million credits or whatever for access to the VIP lounge that will allow them access to it. Similar to how you can buy the wristband on the fleet to reach the upper levels of the fleet that nobody ever uses, only this could actually be useful. This way, you could just have a nice quiet instanced off area to yourself or invite your friends/guildmates to join you and not have to fight with people over access to the slots of the main floor. Nobody knows where those filthy peasants have been before they started touching all of those, anyways. 4 - More games! Derjarik and Sabacc please! These games would have the added benefit of being able to play against the A.I. - OR - you could challenge your friends! 5 - As I mentioned at the start, just keep the casino open year round. It's stupid that it's tied to some holiday in the lore that nobody's ever heard of and that's why it's only around for one month out of the year. Just let us take a trip to the casino whenever we want. Something fun and different to do aside from blasting, stabbing, choking, zapping, exploding, etc. all the time.
  11. Same goes for GSF players, if I never play another game of TDM again it'll be too soon because 9/10 games that I get it's that game mode and not only am I sick of it but Domination is also the far superior game mode.
  12. Waste of time there are way more important things the game needs than this.
  13. Yeah no. People don't want that by and large. Last time they did that was the macrobinocular and seeker droid quest chains. Guess what? Nobody does them today because nobody wants to go through the hassle of having to get a 4 person group together to run them. Especially the macrobinocular one. Things got changed from what they were to what they are now for a reason. They probably observed the metrics and saw that people were just all but entirely ignoring the heroics, so they needed to change them to where you can solo them if you know what you're doing and are geared for it, but get more rewards for doing it with other people. Which was the smart move. The option to do it with people is there, but it's not mandatory.
  14. Not in SWTOR. For one you can't really enjoy the experience of a flashpoint/operation story (provided there is one) with everybody shooting and talking to one another on Discord. Another reason is that there are moments in solo story content where having done or not done these things does come into play as far as conversation choices go. People don't necessarily want the loot they just want to see a good story. So making it akin to something like how they've done things like Esseles/Black Talon for example where you get nothing beyond renown crate loot from bosse kills and maybe a decoration tied to the flashpoint/operation at the end wouldn't break the game at all. And while they're at it FFS make the macrobinocular/seeker droid quests entirely soloable. Nobody wants to group up for those and they get ignored, especially macrobinocs, but they're good story content that a ton of players don't do because of it.
  15. Better solution is to just have the casino be open year-round. 11 months out of the year it's not used for anything except for the occasional class quest or informants during the BBA event. Waste of a perfectly nice location and it would make the hunt for casino prizes less of a mad dash and just a fun way to relax and have some fun instead of shooting/stabbing/electrocuting/choking/etc. things all the time.
  16. I agree with this because honestly I feel like the dark/light alignment thing is only important to my Force-using characters. My smuggler and bounty hunter characters in particular are a gray area. Trooper and agent not as much but still, it feels unnecessary for some.
  17. You're complaining about the top tier min-maxing of stats. Unless you're doing ranked pvp or master difficulty ops runs, you don't need them. They have to make it so that both ops runners and pvpers have to work to get the materials.
  18. There's a lot of companions after reaching KotFE/ET content. Like, WAY too many. We could really do with a system to organize them ourselves, mark our favorites for easy access, etc.
  19. So my friend and I are having a discussion regarding combat styles and advanced classes in 7.0 He believes that if you are just for an example's sake, a scoundrel and you take on the combat style of a gunslinger, your advanced class designation will be changed from scoundrel to gunslinger. I'm 99.99% sure this is not how this works. If you're a scoundrel you remain one regardless of the combat style you choose. There was no mention of a change being made when they unveiled combat styles in the livestream.
  20. Add new ones? Maybe, in some cases, for only a few abilities here and there. Mainly the force users. But say on my commando? You wouldn't need new animations, really. Just adapt existing ones to abilities. For instance, bolstorm on my commando wouldn't require a whole lot. There's already a firing from the hip animation used by classes that use rifles, just adapt bolstorm to use that. It would require some work, I won't deny that. But not as much as a lot of people seem to think it will since you don't need new animations for every single ability.
  21. So I'm both excited and disappointed by the new combat styles coming in 7.0 because it simultaneously is and isn't what we've been asking for for a long, long, LONG time when it comes to SWTOR. What we've been asking for is for you to loosen up weapon restrictions, not necessarily change the playstyle of our classes. Now I'm not opposed to this idea, mind you. But this is where the "kinda" portion of my "you're doing it wrong" argument comes in. People should be able to choose which weapon they want to wield (so long as it's force or tech appropriate) without needing to change up their skill set. For example in my case, I love playing as a commando/mercenary. Easily my favorite advanced class in the game. I don't want to change that. What I do want to change is not having to tote around a giant cannon on my back as a commando or be limited to a pair of pistols as my mercenary. I want to keep my commando skill set while using a blaster rifle, for example. I don't want to have to adopt the skill set of an entirely different class just to use the weapon I want. Just separate the two, ultimately. That's what I'm saying. Leave combat styles there, I think that's a good idea, but don't lock weapon types to different combat styles. If a person wants to be a stealthy operative/scoundrel while hauling around a giant assault cannon for instance just because they find the concept of it to be hilarious? Go for it. Let them. If a Sith assassin wants to dual wield lightsabers because they think that's more awesome for a stealthy killer from the shadows to wield than a saberstaff? Go for it, let them. Don't lock the two together.
  22. I'm wondering if our companions will be afforded the same luxury that our characters will with the upcoming loosening of sphincters and weapons for classes. For instance if say, I wanted to equip Kira with a normal lightsaber instead of a saberstaff? Or equip Jorgan with a sniper rifle vs. his assault cannon? (I know he gets one in Fallen Empire/Eternal Throne I'm talking in the original story missions)
  23. The title says it all. The grind for these tokens is tedious, not fun. Especially when you've done it enough that you've gotten dozens of the jackpots from kingpin machines so you've got more vectron wraths and mercenary contracts than you have characters to give them to. Just let us buy the emperor slot machine tokens from the vendor who sells them from NSNL 2022 onwards, thanks.
  24. Sick and tired of a single shot from your bog standard trooper being enough to knock me off my mount. Make it so that we can take significantly more damage again before getting knocked off. It's especially ridiculous when you've invested in rank 5 speeder training, because at that point you should be able to take fire from a whole company of soldiers and stay on your mount. One shot from one dude being enough to knock you off is ridiculous.
  25. I could really use more of some of those decorations, and given how the cap of most other decorations is 9,999 it baffles me how the Ossus tech fragment decorations have a cap of 50.
