  1. No seriously, you really shouldn't have. ROFL what is this? A box? Seriously? You guys are *really* sc****** the bottom of the barrel at Bioware, aren't you? You #$&%ed up this "expansion" beyond belief and now this. Edit: Why is s-c-r-a-p-i-n-g censored? lol
  2. So maybe this has been suggested by others before me, and if it has then oh well, I apologize for the duplicate post. But how about either a space station or starship stronghold that is mobile much like the guild flagship, that we can park over whichever planet we wish for the view of our choice? In terms of size I'm thinking around the size of Manaan or Tatooine in terms of the amount of space to move around and number of hooks available. So 800 - 900 hooks, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. You could even do different stations/ships that are themed differently: So you've got something similar to the Republic and Imperial guild starships, obviously. But something a bit more neutral and not so militaristic in design: like say something like a Port Nowhere-themed station, or a Mandalorian ship? While I would like to see each one have its own unique layout for true individuality, if for the sake of development time and costs you kept the same layout, but went with different interior designs (again something Imperial, something Republic, and then more neutral appearances as well) that would go a long way to make this work.
  3. Or they should work on incorporating the lightsaber into the combat styles for sages and sorcs instead?
  4. Agreed. How and why Bioware thought that not having the ability to do combat style respeccing was not just OK but a good idea is baffling, but then again so are many of their decisions when it comes to giving the players what they want. Let us change both of our combat styles if we want to, not just the secondary one. And no cartel coins for this, either. Just make it like how skill point resets were before 7.0: if you're a sub you can change for free, just visit the guy on the fleet or your capital world, or put in a legacy unlock to allow it in the field.
  5. I don't.... huh? What? You don't make sense. The fog doesn't effect whether or not you'll see quest markers. The OP is right. Having maps filled in as a legacy unlock is a no-brainer. How is it that whoever you're helping on the planet wouldn't already have the terrain mapped out ahead of time? Or hell, major population centers like Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa would be well-known and mapped and those maps would be public knowledge on the holonet. Hell ships in orbit of more backwater planets like Hoth or Tatooine could map out the planet with just a few orbits, given the level of tech seen in Star Wars. There is no reason not to put this in the game. Having to fill in the maps over and over again for each additional character is just a tedious chore, not engaging gameplay.
  6. I said that as offering "a" potential solution though not necessarily the one they should go with. Point is though that they're not doing enough. And even the upcoming patch and the fix they're implementing is just a band-aid on a broken leg in effect. They need more things to buy with currency all around, not just gear upgrades is the point I'm getting at.
  7. This is something I've advocated before. How certain rooms could be locked based on your level of access. So for instance the SH itself might be publicly listed, but only a bronze keyholder could access this area or areas, silver could access a second tier, and then the owner might lock doors that only they can access. For instance my smuggler's bedroom in my Nar Shaddaa sky palace. Nobody needs to be going in there but him, obviously.
  8. 11. X and Y 20/-20 aren't enough in some cases. For instance I want to use the Scorpion, Republic, and Imperial Weapon Rack decorations because my smuggler is an arms dealer, so these are meant to showcase the wares he has for sale. The problem though is that they only go on a large floor hook and even if I wanted to put them flush to a wall they only go from middle of the square to partway back on the square, leaving a gap between the back of the rack and the back of the wall. This is just one example. Consider expanding how far we can move these decorations to, I would say as high as X/Y 50 may be warranted.
  9. I've said this for ages. One of the things that frustrates me to no end is that the stone torch decorations from Ossus have a cap of 50. 50. For a light fixture. I want to fill the walls of my Yavin stronghold with these, but 50 is nowhere near enough. 9,999 cap for all decorations!
  10. Agreed. That meteor shower slowly falling from the sky is stunning to behold even ten years on playing this game.
  11. Well, you're wrong. There's a counter for everything. A ship with quad lasers can get in underneath a sat and essentially close-range snipe the bomber trying to hide in that nook, or a gunship can snipe from long range with ion railgun shots and destroy the mines with aoe damage. Just because you're bad at GSF and can't think outside of the box of flying straight into the enemy's line of fire, which they want you to do, doesn't mean it's broken, it just means you suck.
  12. I have and it doesn't address the larger issue. If you've been playing for a long time as I have, converting medals to fragments isn't going to help much, either. You can only upgrade the new implants so far, and beyond that, if you've already collected things like the mounts, pets, decorations that you could already buy with them in the past, then it doesn't help. What I'm saying is they need *new* items that make these things worth investing in. Because I gain tech fragments just as fast if not faster than medals. Hell doing the GSF weekly 3 times in a week nets me 3,000 alone. Nevermind what I get from GSF dailies or any other activities I do. They either need to dial back the rate at which we earn these, in the short run, or they need to give us something to funnel things like medals and tech fragments into.
  13. I can't spend these fast enough to keep them from reaching the cap. Gear upgrades require aquatic resource matrixes and I don't get those anywhere nearly as quickly as I do the medals. And there's nothing else to buy with them. No mounts, pets, decorations, nothing. Compounding the problem is if you're at or too close to the cap you can't claim galactic seasons rewards if they reward medals that will put you over the cap. Get your act together Bioware, you're supposed to be professionals and this patch (because it doesn't deserve to be called an expansion) is amateur hour in its planning an execution. At best.
  14. So these are just the two that I'm aware of, primarily as an Imperial player, there may be Republic ones as well so feel free to add them. But there's an Imperial Red Engine Reactant missing from the GSF cosmetics window. Not the light red, this is a proper, deep red color by comparison that looks much better. Please add this to the cosmetics that we can buy because rarely is it ever up for sale on the GTN. In a similar vein, there's a missing gunship that should be added. We already have the VX-9 Mailoc and its Republic equivalent but there's another gunship (feel free to add what the names of them are in comments) that, again, you can only unlock at this time if you find somebody selling it on the GTN or in a cartel pack. Please just add these to the GSF window as well.
  15. https://swtorista.com/ is also a good resource guide for you since you're returning to the game, aside from Vulkk. His stuff tends to be very wordy and lengthy imo, SWTORista is more concise and to the point. Welcome back to SWTOR. I hope you enjoy it.
  16. How have you left this unattended for so long? This jump is broken. After jumping onto the sandcrawler, the jump ramp that is meant to help you jump over the guts of the sandcrawler's midsection fails more than half the time, and I keep falling down and getting stuck in the junk on the sandcrawler's roof. Eating up precious time (especially bad when running as Horizon's Razor) and forcing one to try and wiggle and jump and worm your way out somehow in order to keep going. Fix. This. Honestly Bioware, you guys are an embarrassment to game development at this point. It's like you have no Q.A. team, and nobody fixing bugs at all. Bugs get reported and go unfixed for years, and not just this one, either. What is wrong with you people?
  17. The only "great change" that 7.0 made that isn't broken, half-baked, or blatantly ignores what players were requesting for years *cough combat styles cough* is that buffs are no longer timed things that need to be re-added every hour but permanent passives.
  18. Seeker droid/macrobinocular quests need to be made single player, first and foremost. Getting groups for those is a giant pain in the #$& because nobody wants to do them, especially not the macrobinocular one on Nar Shaddaa with its puzzles that bug out. Single player space combat missions also need love, first and foremost in fixing them before adding new ones. The current ones are bugged in that enemy fighters can't be seen in a lot of cases because the engine glow effect that is meant to help you spot them from far away is no longer working, so you don't see them until they're right on top of you now. But frankly? This is all a pipe dream imo. The SWTOR team is underfunded and incompetent. Longstanding bugs go unaddressed and they just abandon content to rot rather than make an effort to fix it if it's not the most popular thing in the game. And don't even get me started on the GTN economy....
  19. To be frank? I wouldn't waste your time and money coming back to the game now. Legacy of the Sith isn't an expansion, it's a patch. It added ~3 hours worth of content. That's it. 7.0 also broke soooooo many things, the game is incredibly buggy, unfinished, and unpolished right now that I can't in good conscience advise that you come back to the game at this time. If you haven't put money into purchasing some game time yet? Don't.
  20. I've unlocked Fen Zeil. I did the quest where he introduced me to Qi’us Dnar. She's not at the spot where she should be on the lower promenade of Nar Shaddaa. Anybody else encountering this?
  21. So you want an igloo is what you're saying that'll have a grand total of half a dozen hooks? lol
  22. OK so.... why all the jumping through hoops for implants? Not like they're some brand new addition to the game. The quest to unlock them is just stupid. Furthermore, no initiative implants for boosting our accuracy stats? Really? Bioware, is there *anything* with this "expansion" that you didn't #$&% up? Honestly the *BEST* thing you managed to do that isn't broken is turn class buffs into passives that we never have to refresh.
  23. To all the people who are saying they like combat styles: I'm glad for you. On paper, I don't have a problem with them. My problem is with the execution. People have been asking for a loosening on weapon restrictions for a looooooong time now. This is not what we were asking for. So the combat styles feel like a mockery, a slap in the face from the developers, who ignored what we were asking for and gave us this instead. I don't hate the combat styles for what they are, I just hate the fact that the devs *completely* missed the mark on what we were asking for, again, almost as long as the game's been around.
  24. How far from the mark could you have been, Bioware? Did you read a single post from people all these years? We weren't asking you to pigeon-hole us into changing up what made our favorite class our favorite class all we wanted was for you to loosen your sphincters when it came to weapon restrictions for classes. I'm not necessarily saying combat styles were a bad idea but forcing a player to choose between the weapon(s) they want to use and the combat style they know, love, and are used to, and probably favor is just idiotic, it has to be said. I play my mercenary as my my main because I love the mercenary's skill set. I love the mobility, I love the look and feel of it, I love being able to heal myself in a pinch, it's me. It's what I like. What I don't like is having to dual wield pistols. All I and again, many other players were asking for, were more weapon options. I would have loved to play a merc wielding a rifle or an assault cannon, I don't want to have to adopt an entirely different set of skills, one I may not even like mind you, to do so! Then there's the whole "you can only choose one secondary combat style on your existing character and then you're locked into that forever" decision. First of all, why can't we choose to modify both the primary *and* the secondary styles on existing characters? We can only do this for new ones? What the hell? And second of all, why is it a permanent, "you can never change it once it's locked in" choice? What the hell? What if right now I want to play say a merc and a sniper but then down the line I'm not feeling the sniper and wanted to switch to something else? Why is this such a bad thing in your heads? Get yourselves together Bioware! This "expansion" was nothing more than an over-glorified patch! Combat styles are a letdown! And the only MMO looking worse than yours right now is World of Warcraft.
  25. 8 - Decoration Duplication This applies particularly to decorations obtained one way or another through the cartel market. Let us purchase duplicates of these with cartel coins rather than having to either buy multiple bundles, gamble on the in-game loot boxes (which should be removed btw, cosmetics or not, they're just loathsome) or shopping through the GTN. Something as simple as a wall-mounted light fixture can run into 8 figures. For just ONE light? It's insane. Give us the ability to buy duplicates of cartel market-sourced decorations that we already have in our collection, and it will help stop the rampant hyper-inflation on decoration prices seen on the GTN. And to be absolutely clear, when I say buy duplicates with cartel coins? Given that we're probably going to want to buy them in bulk in some cases, I don't mean like, 100, 200, 400, 600 CC's for a single copy. No I'm thinking 10, 20, 25, or at most? 50 CC's for a duplicate decoration.
