    Splitting up the enemy asap seems to work pretty good. I usually single out a dps and get him away from the group while we fight in an area of the map that has some LoS protection. By the time he is back, we usually have burned down one enemy.
  2. I am sorry to say this... but this is SWTOR. Every MMO has different mechanics. Adapt and overcome.
  3. I always thought people PvP-ed for the thrill, the competition and not for the gear.
  4. I have submitted this in the past as a bug report TBH. Voidstar draws seem to dish out random wins.

  14. This is a prob only for new players TBH. Everybody on my server refers to it as left and right from starting view. Nobody looks at map
  15. Yeah... that would definitly make some Sorc cry. I also want the skill to throw Sorcs into very very deep pits
  16. TBH in WAR high RR players could easily take out 10 low RR players. It is not easy to do PvP in an MMO AND allow the players some kind of progression (a lot of players expect this and people seem to be only interested if they can become "stronger"). I think there should be a "point" system like in tabletop games. Every player will get a score based on his gear and a WZ will allow a certain amount of points. This would result in uneven numbers of players with the lower geared team having more members. No MMO has done this sadly... (yet) probably because people will whine when they have to play 6v8.
  17. Yeah we need a big WZ on Hoth!! (with walkers) and a big WZ on Tatooine (including the Sarlak). Anyway... I am sure they are working on it. March patch will have a new WZ... almost certainly a capture-the-flag type WZ.
  18. Everything is scaled to the same level. In fact I noticed that the scaling on my level 11 Merc gave me a better armor reduction than a level 50 well geared player So if you have gear that is slightly above average for your level, you can be pretty good in PvP. It makes sub 50 WZs quite fun actually for everybody Wait until you hit 50... get ready to be r****ed.
  19. I think the problem lies in you using your taunts. In TOR it looks like you should only use your taunts when you lose aggro, while in some other MMOs a taunt builds up aggro and you can use it every time it is off CD (and hence increasing your aggro). Anyway... I have not had a lot of issues... also you don't HAVE to tank all the mobs. I usually don't bother with "normal" ones since the DPS slaughters them so fast. Only strong and elites should be tanked. On the strong ones I use cc to keep them out of the fight. Fear, stun and force choke are your friends. Even a nice throw takes them out for a few seconds and a force jumps stuns them for 3 seconds (in my case). Tanking on a Jugg is actually a lot of fun. I was a MT Warrior in WoW for many years and I find the range of skills I have to use a lot more fun in this game. I also seem to have much greater mobility. Also don't forget that some other games have aggro meters, so your dps guys know to stay under tank. In TOR they don't so they need to use their aggro dumps when needed. In the end TOR is a different game and people need to play correctly. I would not worry about the Juggernaut tank. It is pretty good.

  21. They mention legacy examples in the latest video. It looks like it will be minor gameplay options. Like picking a legacy that will give you more xp in pvp and less in pve. I don't expect new powers.
  22. I can agree with making sabre throw hit everybody it passes trough. It makes sense that it does actually And yeah... Intercede could use some work to make it easier to use.
