turned riva tuner off and i was able to play for about 5 minutes before it got to 95 so i shut it down. guess ill just go for a new graphics card and see what happens then

yes i was running riva tuner. i just disabled it and im gonna try it again here in a couple minutes. just going to let her chill for a few

ive been thinking about replacing my vcard for a while now, what would be a decent priced new one that would still have equal capabilities as the gtx 295 but runs a little cooler

its on. ive done all the obvious things like turning off shadows and lowering details but it doesnt seem to make a difference

GPU driver is version 285.62. an no nothing on the screen, just suddenly goes blank

evga x58 classified motherboard intel i7 920 cpu nvidia gtx 295 video card Idle temps in windows with nothing else running sits around 70 C with nothing open, running other games on ultra with 60 fps it gets to around 85 C with the fan running 50-60%. Is there a way to just turn down the max FPS star wars allows?

is anyone else having this problem?

Getting CRAZY gpu temps with this game. i have a gtx 295 graphics card, i played the game for like 5 minutes and my comp shut down. let it cool down for a little and came back to it but watched my temps this time. I can play wow, skyrim and BF3 on ultra running 60fps+ and play for hours without ever reaching more then 85 C. I play this game for like 2 minutes and its already at 105+. turned on vertical sync and also kicked my GPU fan speed to 90% fixed and still it wont do a thing. I looked around a saw a lot of people having this issue, is there a way to limit frame rates to around 45 and see if that would work? anyone that has fixed this issue please help!!!!!

We paid extra money to get in with the early release, didnt get it. and now that servers live we still arent able to get in. not a good way to start imo

Seems to be a big problem with a lot of people, your not the only one. hope they fix this soon
