  1. God, I hate this, we work hard for pvp gear, which is bested by simple pve combinations. Makes no sense!

    Mercenary Healers

Glad that we all agree on rapid shots. I can confirm as well that the overall healing greatly increased, I used to top 700k / 500hps, now I'm doing closer to 1mil / 1000hps on average. I don't even have full obroan, nor full purple augments, on my Merc. This is my build. What do you think?

    Mercenary Healers

Finally I feel a bit more useful in warzones. *tears of joy* However I would seriously like it better if I don't have to actually select myself to use rapid shots. It should be that if I got no one selected, I use rapid shots on myself...
  4. I've leveled a merc as a healer from 1 all the way to 55. I don't know about the best min/max gear out there. I just got all the Medic PvP set, and augmented my gear with main stat. As for the spec, I couldn't find an updated 2.6 calculator to link my build. But basically in bodyguard I picked all of the talents except protective field, peacekeeper, and kolto jets. In arsenal I chose mandalorian iron warheads, ironsights, and upgraded arsenal. As for pyrotech i chose system calibrations. 36/8/2. Of course you could switch some points around for some AOE heal. But i found this to be a nice build.
  5. If you want a unique look, first of all, you should never stick to one set. Second of all, you need to try and find good matching pieces. Keep browsing those adaptive armors until you are satisfied with a certain piece. Unlike most of the people hating on robes, I personally love the way they look, however, the leggings could be tricky. Especially if you are going for a skirt looking one. Since they are form different sets, they might collide. For my assassin, I am wearing Inquisitor robe, with pretty much everything else as Eradicator's set. As for the helm, since I hate helmets that cover up the face, I got those helmets that cover up the neck all the way to the chin and ears. It also removes the hood. But I love the general look of it. Personal preference

    Knockbacks

Yeah, this was one of the worst nerfs I've seen so far, along with removing self-heals. When I came back to the game few months ago, I didn't know about the nerf, was wondering why i couldn't knock back those behind me, thought it was bugging out, then i learned of this stupid nerf that doesn't make sense at all. They should seriously change it back...
  7. And the response to the response from the response
  8. Yesterday I had the best hypergate match ever! We were getting our asses handed to us at mid, at round 6 we capped their side and held it. Then at round 7 we totally denied them a cap, while we capped ours with no problem. We won. Our side had a highest kill of 8 players, their side had at least 45 kills. Yet we outplayed them. You see, you can manage to hold the pylon for a longer time if you had 1 or 2 stealthers just sitting there waiting until allies wipe out, then right before they cap you interrupt them. This will give the spawned people time to run back. You'd last longer this way
  9. For melee: I'd say assassin, even if you went full tank, the utilities you get will be quite useful for many engagements. For ranged: I'd say sniper. My sniper is only level 20, but you will do amazing damage right off the bat. Imagine a level 12 doing 9k criticals in pvp. Quite fun imo.

    Gearing HK-51

You can't gear him with only conquest, trust me, I've tried . You can't place the armoring in the droid, won't work. So you can only use the mods and enhancement.
  11. It isn't about being a carebear, and honestly the level 50 should have just sucked it up and moved on. However, at the same time, I don't see where is the fun in killing a low level? Heck, even a new level 55 stands no chance. But then again, who said life is fair? Carry on!
  12. To be honest, once the number of players in a certain faction exceeds the other side, you will start getting same faction pvp more often, and even then you might end up on the bad team. The greater the number of players, the greater the number of newbies/noobs/whatever. So from what I've seen so far, there is nothing like playing with a group of guildies. Doing so would make it fun even if you lose. Just find a guild that does pvp regularly on your server, and queue up in 4 man. Now you can guarantee that at least half of the team isn't incompetent.
  13. I don't know which is worse, the fact that the level 50 took his time to post all that, or the fact that you proudly posted killing a low level.
  14. Funniest moment was in Huttball, I was playing with my guildies. I was standing top mid, while an assassin teammate was standing right next to the poison pool waiting for the operative teammate to pass the ball. Once the operative passed, the assassin was pulled by an enemy away, but that was when an enemy pushed me from top mid all the way where the ball was passed next to the poison pool, and I got the ball. Hilarious.

    Occam's razor

I could care less about class balance, but the idea of bolster making PvE gear better than PvP gear is a logical error.
