    For a beta tester you forgot when the actually stated they didn't need our feedback only the data from playing. It was pretty evident during the Beta's that they did not listen to the feedback.

    Titles are already completely usless and add nothing to the game. BW should have extented free game time for another 30days. And during that time actually fixed issues.

    People are bored because the game is boring. That's all it is, make a better game with the 299Million you haven't spent yet.

    One of the many reason why SWTOR will fail and BW shouldn't make MMOs. Issue like this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. EA stocks even dropping because of SWTOR...Keep screaming it is the best MMO if you want.

    MMOs have persistant worlds and this is one of the reasons why SWTOR by definition isn't a MMO.

    It has alot going for it if they would work on finishing and completely all the content added and features that are only half completed. The game had potential to be great!

    There are a few with lower monthly fees than $15/mo. I myself would actually pay up to $50/mo for a real MMO to come out.

    Issue they are been blowing off since BETA. Ping the patch server I bet you get Timed out messages.

    There is no different in the modded gear with the same mods in them. Use to be different in beta but that got changed with the gear changes.

    Actually the game is very poorly designed and a very poor MMO at launch. They have to many things missing to make it a good MMO, people are not leaving because of the bugs, people are leaving because of the bugs that continue to carry over from BETA and the increased number of bugs in the game. Given the very few that are getting fixed.

    The problem is some people are at 0 days today not tomorrow and they got charged lastnight at midnight because their time was up even though it isn't. The counter seems to be ticking off from when you entered your code. So if you entered it in advance to make sure you didn't miss out on the 20th you are short a day for some reason.

    I have been saying just that for years OP and no one cares. MMOs are a commodity now for company's to make money fast. Has nothing to do with developing a good game. Never has been and never will be a successful casual MMO!!!

    Another thread to be closed. My question is with this big update why is it not on all the gaming websites like you see with most MMOs?

    Its not the engine. The game engine is designed to support 100k at once. It is the game coding itself and the changes made to the engine by BW.

    I believe we did until they made the graphics change in Oct.

    I will be in Dominus beta in the next week so not worried about continuing the play SWTOR. They have to many issues carried over from BETA that never got fixed, really don't expect them to get fixed either.

    Well I am 44 but close enough. I work IT for Wells Fargo national support. I don't fit the mold at work or as a gamer. I train everyday after work before logging in and playing the game live a healthy lifestyle and run races throughout the year. But I love my MMOs.

    Ok yes FFIV sucked but is this game really any better? Only one I can think of that was worse is Vangaurd.

    Yep you can't add that to Illum when the faction balance in the game is so off. Pretty much going to be no PvP. That had to be just a pain to go through.

    Unless they change the sticky I am going with what is says: This downtime is in preparation for our first major game update, Rise of the Rakghouls! If that is English they are only preparing for the major update and installing the major update.
