  1. It would be because you were a much higher level. Any mob with a grey symbol is worth nothing to your character, despite how hard the fight is. You will see mobs which are green, orange and red which are more suited to your level and they will reward XP (more for the red then the green ones) This is how they tell you you won't gain any XP, by the colour of the mob name.
  2. You can only add Augmentation slots, not Hilt/Mod/Enhancement etc to items. Sounds like the item you purchased was a Green, Blue or purple Augmented hilt (should have [Augmented] at the end of the item name) instead of the orange or artefact quality item you RE'd which would have had component slots on it.
  3. short answer: No. Long answer: No, there isn't anyway to see completed quests and the only way to see one you haven't done yet is indicated by the NPC still having the quest marker over their heads. though this can indicate a daily which you have already done previously.
  4. I'm not 100% sure but I believe that the affection bar will stop moving if you out-pace the level for that level of affection.. There are some companion conversations that are triggered by your level or story progression (so as not to give you a level 40 quest when you are only level 10 for example). If you have dumped hundreds of gifts on them early on they continue to gain affection but the bar will stay at the same point waiting for that trigger/conversation then will continue until the next trigger point. Again, I'm not entirely sure if that's what has happened to you but a similar thing happened to my Commandos Elara Dorne and I thought she'd broke when the affection bar stopped moving. As soon as I made a few more levels and completed a conversation the bar jumped to the appropriate point and continued to work after that.
  5. The Satele Shan and Darth Malgus holo trainers are available for the Contraband Resale corporation vendor I believe. Otherwise, they are random drops from Cartel packs (Crime Lords/Black Market). There might be some on GTN too. And like others have said, the Dr Oggurobb is a Pre-order reward item so is no longer available.

  7. The Dueling Banner from the Blockade Runner's pack, if already existing on players account prior to 2.1, does not appear in Collections tab under Toys, it shows locked and does not count towards the percentage total for unlocked collections. This item is consumed on use and is unable to be 're-used' to make it appear in the Collections list. CS has been unable to help in my 3 bug reports on this problem (tickets 8980279, 9033764 & 9098569), each time giving line which, I'm sorry, is not possible, as the item is CONSUMED when first activated. Then there was this one: which means the item has already bound to my account - what is bound cannot be rebound. If a CS droid can explain to me how a consumed item can be reused to unlock it I'll eat my spacestation ...

Not sure if it's just ironic or intended but I tend to get a bulk of my Armormech recipes from my Synthweaver and Cybertech missions and all my Synthweaving recipes from my Armormech missions.... IF I GET ONE MORE RECIPE FOR THOSE KELSH HANDGEAR or DREAD SCOUT GLOVES I'M GOING ALL DARKSIDE YOU Y'ALL! Seriously, the first few were an announce, but the 50th and 80th drop of the same item is ridiculous.
  9. There are several Med Units available at different levels, see your Crew Skill trainer and change the setting to see all available instead of only what you can train at your current level. Have a look over at the Crew Skills forum too if you want, there might be more information there.
  10. Have you checked your ledger on the website? Mine shows every set of 20 coins credited for these achievements. And generally they would be 20 coins, can't say I've seen any other value mentioned. Also, they are usually for quite significant achievements like completing a class chapter or reaching Social 5 (but no reward at all for Social X a bit of a omission don't you think?). The 'kill X of XY' might contribute to a bigger unlock but not likely to reward coins. I might be wrong, just haven't seen them myself.
  11. You can try to sell them as there may be a few lazy Biochems out there too lazy to collect the purples needed to craft the item. Many crafters skip the low level purple schematics entirely and only craft upto blues, on bothering to RE them. I must say that I've noticed that the blue medpacs do give a significantly better return on healing with HoT that the reusable ones do not.
  12. So many funny lines included in this expansion, where do you start? One from my Bounty Hunter upon "landing" on the planet in a shuttle (or 'brick 'if you want the technical term): "I may have left some teeth on the shuttle. Otherwise, I'm alright."
  13. I'm not sure which droid you are referring to, but apart from 'just go around him' and get the datacron anyway; what level was the mob? Regardless of the HP if there was a significant level difference you would be unlikely to do any damage to it. Isn't there a Seeker field nearby that area which is 52+ and has a couple of 54 & 55 creatures lurking around? You may have run into part of that area without realising; it wouldn't show up or even be announced for anyone below level 52 without a seeker droid in your inventory. Even trash mobs from much higher levels would be unaffected by your puny rifle...
  14. Yep, the warning is a line of red text at the bottom of the screen. easy to miss if you are not paying attention. It does need a pop up warning like the hundreds of pop ups when you purchase, bind, overwrite mods etc etc etc....

Yep, reporting the same bug, now, but when I first completed the exploration my Achievement looked like this image: {this might help some CS droid as I'm sure it is machine code of some sort} http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii24/Owen153/BalmorraExplorer_zps570d66f6.jpg Basically green ticked zeros and random numbers plus ticked of locations along with "SmallText/false false" a couple of times including the blank line between Sobrik and Sundari Flatlands. Any CS wanting the original images just let me know as the uploaded one was a bit low quality....
  16. There might be abilities that will require 'Sniper Rifle' that won't activate or work if you equip a Blaster Rifle. There are similar distinctions with Duel wielding and single or double blade lightsabers.
  17. Simply the Sith need to channel their hatred and enduring pain and suffering feeds your anger and fuels the dark side powers flowing through you. Through suffering you gain power... Not buying? ... We'll okay, I tried. Seriously, was your Sith Sorcerer a new character or is it one from before you re-subbed? The reason being I've seen old characters glitch when they dropped the level requirement for speeders to 15 and you hadn't gotten the skill yet on a higher level, but under the previous level requirement (25 was it?). If not, you should raise a ticket to CS so they can fix it, obviously something went wrong with the allocation on that character. Or, feel the pain, grow your anger and be the most powerful Sith!!
  18. Not sure but I did complete 'that's just wrong' on my sith. did not try to add to the carnage on my Rep characters.
  19. Unless there are special circumstances, no. If it was bound by mistake or a bug you could put in a CS request but not sure you would get anything from it. Not sure what weapons are adaptable, that generally refers to armour and adaptable weight scale. Anyway, you can use it on one of your companions but unless it is Bound to Legacy you won't be able to even send it to one of your alts. The only options are sell it to a vendor (not GTN) or if you have the appropriate crew skill RE it for mats.
  20. I've only run through the Staged quest series once so far but after completing 3 of the [stage 1] quests the next available quests from the console were all [stage 2]. It seemed to be automatic.
  21. Yeah, basically they are just like you and you have to dress them in their armour and weapons. Each have their own skill requirements, ie Strength, Willpower, Cunning or Aim, and a specification (DPS, Tank, Heal) so you need to upgrade their gear appropriately. A lot of class quest rewards will give you an option to select an item for your companions (only one at a time though) so you should find a companion that suits your play style and concentrate on keeping them fully upgraded. The easiest is Trooper, every companion is the same Stat (Aim) and you can pretty much hand off your used gear when you upgrade your own equipment....

Aside from the previous suggestion to unlock bag and bay slots with cartel coins (or credits if you are in-game rich) the next thing I do when my crafters are filling up their cargo bays is send any unbound item to a low level alt, who is benefiting from the cargo bay unlocks and not doing anything with the spare space.
  23. Always slot 1 on the first quickbar, but you can change the skill that is in it to any of your abilities. Unlock your quickbars and drag your desired autocast to slot 1 and don't forget to lock the bar again...
  24. It's bound, if I remember correctly, for selling only, you can mail it to an alt or put it in Guild Bank. This means you can't vendor it on GTN. I'm not sure if this is intended or needing a fix. There are also some parts that are not actually in the game yet due to some glitch or something.
  25. Apart from the occasional Cartel Coin reward there are new Titles for some achievements. Otherwise, yeah, the points just add up and there's a hope that it'll mean something in a future patch....
