  1. If you are looking for the one at the SE corner of Fort Garnik, the best way to get there is climb the stairs just past the spaceport entrance and once you get to the very top platform you might have to get to the very edge of the platform, back a bit from the droid location and you should be able to scan it. I don't recall having any problems though....
  2. The most helpful and useful advice I saw for these high level missions is only do the set tasks, don't bother with anything else, don't shoot at it, don't look at it, avoid it as best you can. Use your Power Converter to switch shields and blasters all the time. When you aren't shooting, recharge shields (use missiles then if you want). Don't sit still, duck and weave. Move around and barrel roll like all the time you are transiting between main mission tasks. 2x torpedoes for the kills on the big targets, and you can usually find only 3 times you can get a shot off at it during the run (sometimes only 2). Put your shields on regen, pop your emp and make the shot. Yes, they are tough. I've played through all of them a couple of times but usually crap-out at least once or twice every single time I play them. They're not like the rest of the space missions, I can sometimes fall asleep after completing the main mission tasks on normal space missions, and ride the rails to the finish, or go make a cup of tea or something, leaving the shields on regen of course.... That's the only advice I can give you. Once you've made it through a mission you won't be able to get the mission from the hub until it's weekly reset, each mission has a reset on a different day (and twice on Sunday for 2 of them)
  3. I'm always way too nice and generous in groups that I tend to almost always Pass or Greed in FPs. Not knowing who your playing with and not wanting to get some short tempered individual pushed over the edge for some unknown slight I tend to play it safe. I don't particularly play to get that certain piece of armour or part of a set; I find I can either make with crew skills or find most of everything or buy it on GTN. Anything from mob drops or rewards I tend to vendor, RE, or if it suits, pass on to an alt or companion. They are bonus items, not the necessity of life. As an aside, if a team mate notices that I'm passing or greeding on items, and they've been playing hard ball needing on everything or getting lucky roles and picking up most of the items, I've found they will quite often offer trades or just give me the items they think I should have needed on. Most often I don't actually need them. When I played my first MMO (a small FTP fantasy rpg) I had never heard of this Need/Greed system and there was no tutorial or help files, so when I came across it in a group situation I immediately thought "Greed" sounded 'bad' so I shouldn't do that! "Need" is a much 'nicer' thing so I'll click on that option..... I got promptly raged at and kicked (with no explanation!) I then was so terrified of all these rage-beasts in groups that I always passed since I had no idea what was expected of me.... Never enjoyed the game after that and soon stopped all grouping (which in an MMO is basically the only reason to play)
  4. I can't log in now to confirm but when I was looking for gifts I would usually only purchase the highest level Purple ones, wouldn't bother with the blues and greens to maximise your return. Search parameters would be Miscellaneous / Other (or something like that) and show only Prototype (coloured purple) items. Have the companion you want to gift to active and when you put your mouse over the item it will show the level of affection. Sort the pages by name and when you find the one that your companion likes the most, start purchasing the cheap ones..... If someone can confirm the search options otherwise I'll try to check them later on.
  5. I believe the level requirement will stay at L10. can't see why they would modify it since the sets are already in play.

    Meme War!

I made a couple I use as desktops. Blame Bodies Awesome
  7. You do have to obtain all the listed lore objects under the achievement, both Republic and Imperial. That should also cover all lore object for those planets. As a legacy achievement you don't have to do them all on the same character.
  8. The armour used to be specific in such that if you chose the Dread armour option in the final quest you could only dig up that set from the different sites and the armour pieces did classify as a super rare item and wiped the site for everyone else. Changes were made (I have no idea why: It all made perfect sense in the first place.....) where you could did up either of the set types plus they no longer classified as rare. I can't say for the different pieces from different sites on the same planets but I'm fairly certain I have located glove and helmets (not on the same dig excursion) from the same site. So I would assume that the different dig sites do not have only one type of armour piece.
  9. The seeker is a fickle and buggy thing, I'll try to answer some of your questions; The items fix when you enter the area AFAIK. But they do reset after a certain time (unknown) The area also resets when someone finds a rare, or super rare find. If you leave the area or switch instances and back again I believe the item locations change (if no-one else is in the area keeping them fixed) The first dig is not always a guaranteed hit. Found the same thing, and the item is just plain gone after following the green indicator a few steps, either bugged or glitched or the hidden timer randomised the locations mid search. Using the boost you can make (cybertech) or purchase and get as rewards will improve your chance of finding items by giving better indications of location and distance but not specifically the armour pieces. Still as much a chance the item is trash. I've gone over areas systematically in a grid pattern before and never found the rare item, then dropped a random seeker in an area I've already swept and dug up items (still not finding the rare...) Once you get a ping of an item it is set unless you leave the area or someone finds the super rare, or the hidden timer runs out, or I have no idea what Truly it's just a time wasting randomising gamble every time you enter a dig site. At least they got rid of all the trash pickups that used to make you think you'd found the target.... used to be very frustrating.
  10. SWTOR-SPY is one of my favourite reference sites along with Dulfy.net and TORhead (although SWTOR-Spy usually has the same stuff as TORhead only better organised IMO)
  11. Fell down a hole inside an Imperial outpost on Voss once, /stuck didn't work since, apart from being completely unable to jump out or move in any direction, the game mechanics thought I was still viable.... had to use a quick travel to the console not 5 feet away On Oricon I was stuck recently (running from a mob pull) just as the threat cooled and when the game auto-unstuck me I was trying to move forward in a vain attempt to walk out of the crease which caused me to walk straight back into the crease..... then had to wait out the timer to try again Remembered to NOT move while getting unstuck....
  12. Actually my screen shot and video grab wasn't working when I found the Crazy Golfer, had probably killed him a dozen times before without realising what he was doing!! Lol Should give a shout out to The Potentiae guild site forum where I found the video.
  13. Anyone seen the Crazed Republic Trooper on top of the downed cruiser playing golf on Oricon? At around -450, -325, just out of the Republic base. Didn't get a video myself but found this one from someone else: http://youtu.be/DcKUJNPyvw0 Hilarious!
  14. Yeah, Mike ^^ has the gist of it. Avoid any unnecessary bonus and switching power converter between shots has to become second nature; find your bind keys to make it easier. I took several runs through on all of them and even now it sometimes takes me a few failed runs to complete them. As for any reason to do them, I think the weekly mission status tend to take the fun out of them. Once you have completed them the first time the individual missions become a weekly, not a daily, mission. This means that, if you are like me and use space missions as an escape from the planetary and flashpoint missions, can't just jump in and spend a while trolling through them and expect any reward.... I've started to collect the missions for an entire week then cashing in later.
  15. Not sure which 'section X thing' you are referring to, but you must have completed the HK quest series, and received HK, on a high level character first before you can unlock him for lower level characters. And then you must pay for the unlock on that character.
  16. Both (or he... ) has been banned again, a common enough occurrence for such characters... or character.... And this thread is bordering on a being a Poll which is also a ban-able offence, so good luck with that EBM. or are you also one of his alts?¿? / tongueincheek
  17. Yeah, I purchased the Encyclopaedia a while back and still flick through every now and then. A lot of great background information and terrific artwork, nicely put together.
  18. I do like putting a full set of adaptive on at level 1 without mods (and for force users an empty shell lightsaber just for the fun of it) As others have said the base stats carry you though plus you have a 'look' and you won't get any helmets or most of the bracers, gloves etc until much later on anyway so even with just the armour value alone you're way ahead of the curve. Plus a level 1 Sith already with a lightsaber is priceless....
  19. The Bounty Hunter week only lasted for the week. It will return next month if you want to keep your quest in your log.
  20. Almost the same likes as HK51, Weapon, Military Gear, Technology and Trophy. Though as others have stated She likes Tech most of all instead of HK's favourite Weapon.
  21. Hey, normally wouldn't even try this but how could I not trust someone calling themselves "Crazy"... Your account details are: •Account Name: crasyfakker@outlook.com •Display Name: CrasyFakker (see what I did there? )
  22. You can try SWTOR Spy (www.swtor-spy.com), I've found that the best for locating most of the Legacy achievements. I would suggest a search of the forums for Bugged achievements first though as there are far too many unachievable achievables out there to be funny anymore.
  23. Got to watch this one, there is a player named this in my guild... although he'd probably love it Love 'The Unsubscriber', wouldn't see it in game though....
