  1. The PvP vendors are at fleet near where you hand in PvP related quests. The vendors in the zones only sell the basic stuff like adrenals from memory. I'm not sure which vendor it was in the combat zone on fleet but one of them did have a speeder in their list.
  2. that indicates the amount of double xp you have available, as in if you rest for the equivalent of 1000xp you will only gain double xp for 1000xp then you are back to normal xp rate. Quite often the available rested xp will extend beyond the visible xp bar so you will see your entire bar in green. Only when you level up do you see the end of the rested bar.
  3. I know you have your answer, but it's No because I believe Macros are against the rules.
  4. Swtor-spy.com torhead.com swtorhub.com darthhater.com just a quick Darth Google search away......
  5. To that area, no. And there is no quick travel point either.
  6. What server are you on and which pocket do you keep your cash in? Seriously, good for you! Don't go spending it all at once. When you get to higher levels things tend to cost more, like repairs and mod removal. Buy some of the orange moddable armour of GTN then save the rest for future use.
  7. If I recall there is a path to follow as you head to Kaas City from the outpost near the Mandalorian quest area. The path is to the left and you then have to travel through an area with other quest points and mobs in it to get to the Colossus area
  8. Once you have paid CCs for the unlock, the icon would have been a little gold square with credit symbols in it (from memory), the icon will then change to the open box looking square button thingy, the same one which will be shown on the character who unlocked the item in the first place. Once unlocked account wide the icon will be the same for every character: the open box. All your alts will have access to the item. I believed that once you have bound a set to your original character they act as any other bound item in game, you cannot send them in mail or sell them on GTN, they are not Legacy Bound items (unless stated otherwise). I think they go as far as being unable to be sold to Vendors too so you cannot collect 1000000 armour sets from your Collections tab and sell them for a tidy profit.....!
  9. There are some items, marked as Cartel Market items only, which are the exception to this and if you want another copy you will have to pay for it in full every time, no freebies. The Level sets which come with full mods inserted for set levels, like the one you describe, are not unlockable for account wide access. This is, I guess, because you cannot draw a copy on your level 1 character like you can for an empty shell set - then again I have no idea what the reasoning is behind the decision.....
  10. I much prefer the love of baby seals than your god.... (that didn't sound right ) any-hoo, moving along.. since the likes of cartel speeders are a dime/dozen and drop like snow on a mountain I just use a different speeder when I see the silly mudflap-cape effect on my characters, or change to one of the standing speeders instead of a sitting one. But I do agree with you virgowars, some of the clipping, especially capes and cloaks, look ridiculous on some of the vehicle designs. I would hope there is something that can be done to correct it.
  11. If you have unlocked them on one character, as you say you can claim them unlimited from that character for free. You just need to open the Collections on another character and you will see that set lit up as available, as opposed to the other items which would be shaded to indicate not available. There will be a little gold button to press on said set that will open a window in which you can either purchase the 'unlock' to enable the set to be accessed by every character in your account (?). This fee, usually in CartelCoin, will vary depending you the rarity of the item. Once you have paid the one-off unlock fee you will then be able to take copies of the set (or item, emote, title, pet, mount etc etc) in unlimited quantities on any character. Hope that makes sense, and I'm sure you can find most of this information from sources in the forums or other fan sites.
  12. Guilds are generally like-minded players who will come together for group content and share knowledge, help other guild members out and have fun playing the game. You would be best to either search your Server forum for guilds that are recruiting or, since you seen to have a specific play time, look or ask around when you are in-game for guild members (you can see them by the tag under their names in these type of brackets: <GuildName> ) and ask if they are recruiting and request an invite. Finding players that are logged in when you are playing yourself will increase the availability of help from fellow guildies. Also finding a guild that suits your play style (pvp, flashpoints, end-game, casual or hard-core) is important if you want to enjoy your gaming. Added extras of guild membership also includes Exp and Rep bonuses & access to a guild bank (access depending on your guild and it's membership structure). Membership is also by Character basis, not Legacy or Account so if you have multiple characters they will not gain membership automatically. You can also have all your characters in different guilds if you want (and you guild charter allows it). Guilds are separated by faction, you won't have Republic and Empire together in one Guild. Although you will sometimes find reciprocate guilds on either side to allow people to play either faction and still group up with friends from the same guild. My advice, take your time choosing a guild and don't be too worried about leaving the guild if you find it doesn't suit you. There are plenty of options out there and not all of them are good options!
  13. Old guildie of mine was: Someone So you would see "Someone has logged in" and "Someone waves at you" and, you get the idea! Always made me laugh.
  14. The 'area', by the zone that appears on you map location, does extend all the way up to the small ship piece up on the eastern hill and on top of the bulk of the crashed ship to the west. I know I searched for a week, several hours a day, and finally someone else was in the area searching and they found it within 10 minutes of searching!! I was sooooo happy I could've kissed 'em! Anyway, like you said, stay close to the crashed ship pieces and be methodical in your search pattern. Worst designed seeker in history, the manufacturer should be fired, out of a cannon, into the sun.....
  15. Like others have said the Legacy Exp only starts increasing once you have a legacy and if you were levelling a bunch of low level characters up before you got your legacy then someone who took a single character up to 50-55 will have gained more Legacy Exp then someone with a heap of low level characters (on average). Not sure if this applies to you but it might explain it. And as has been said higher levels gain more exp so the percentage going to Legacy will be more than for lower levels.
  16. Oh yeah, the ignore list fills up way too quickly, but I like your approach and will be adopting it immediately. It's too bad the Ignore list is not Legacy-wide.... OP, I hear what your saying and I love helping out new players or those in need of assistance and hate having to troll through mindless drivel to find them. I always tend to switch to private messages as soon as I see someone needing help otherwise it's 10 - 20 lines off the chat bubble before you get a response in. But recently I've stopped leaving characters on Fleet and instead just drop in to get what I need from Guild bank or GTN and vamoose to avoid the off-colour comments common to that area.
  17. Clarification: If I had a sense of humour I'd be laughing right about now.
  18. oooorrr: I have another option that would be impossible but nice ==> all those achievements that are currently reading well and above requirements but not marked 'complete' should be automatically marked as 'Complete' and the intermediate ones before it also completed out of your generosity and niceness Bioware(??) <3
  19. Worded deceptively "When players switch servers" - does this intend to mean everyone who already switched servers and has a completely broken achievement list are NOT being fixed, only those who will transfer after the patch will transfer as intended??
  20. The Fury is an awesome design (& I have the lego kit!) but the most stylish and well appointed is the Phantom. I just jump in and out of spaceport cut scenes just to see them over and over again.....
  21. As far as I know, no, they are not part of the Collections system.
  22. This is from another thread in General on the subject: I wanted to give an update on the broken titles and achievements issue. These should be fixed with Game Update 2.2.1 next week. Also, after that point if you transfer a character you should not experience these issues. If you run into any problems with your titles or achievements after 2.2.1, please contact CS. -eric So It would seem that there is a fix on the way in the next patch this coming Tuesday. Hopefully this will get sorted out. I've posted in several threads on the issue since transfers opened and was beginning to think it had been forgotten by Devs and was resigned to never progressing my Achievements ever again. We'll see what happens on Tuesday!
  23. ,and there's no known cure!! You are probably seeing the abbreviated quest and area names, like TFB for Terror from Beyond, BT for Black Talon, S&V for Scum and Villany, and then HM for Hard Mode and SM for Story Mode, the list is endless and I still get confused by the acronyms sometimes as I don't get into many of the Flashpoints at endgame. It's a different language altogether
  24. Yep, good advice ^^ Always try to complete quest markers in the same area and hand them in before moving off to the next area. Like Kerensk said, the Class and Planetary quest lines generally run in parallel but you will occasionally see one off by itself where none of your current quest markers are on the map, this will generally be a Class quest and if you complete all the quests in the cluster first you will find the Planetary quest line will catch up to your Class quest in good time. Don't be afraid to explore though as there is quite often hidden little side quests and Area quests which will only show when you get near them. Also if you are finding you have out-levelled a bunch of quests just stop taking new ones for a while and just follow through your Class or the Planetary quest lines until you are back on par (generally any quest with a grey marker in your log will give you very little challenge and even less reward)
  25. Although from the looks of it everyone thinks that the species to vote on have already been decided but I'd like to put my 2cents in with Falleen (see Prince Xizor for example), they are humanoid-reptilian (or reptomammalian species) and capable of being force sensitive and not aligned empire or republic & the big one: speak basic. This instead of another tentacle head or re-sprayed human. They have reptilian facial features and would get my vote on any poll.
