  1. Weren't they SUPPOSED to be implementing more badges in this patch that would allow healers to also get credit for accomplishments? Healing someone that lands a kill should be counted the very same way as throwing a dot on said person and running away, only for them to be killed 2 minutes later in some random fashion and still get credit.

  3. Should I? Sir, I was a beta tester and I submitted many bug reports - only to have Ohlen and Zoeller both say that we weren't really bug finding - we were simply metric farmers. They didn't want to hear about this stuff, they don't want to know our opinions, even though they said they did. They just kept saying about how our build was far, far behind their's. Furthermore, I am NOT a beta tester now, this isn't a beta. This is live and I am a customer. My only responsibility now is to pay for a product, it's their job to fix it. In business you don't go "Well at this stage of the game in our competitor's product cycle, they were extremely buggy too." You also can't expect people to continue to support such a product for very long.

  5. If it was from BW Austin? No. Hell no. This game is buggy, incomplete and there is no World PvP. Take Casey Hudson, give him some of the money from TOR and have him build a EVE-esque, TOR hybrid Mass Effect MMO and I would definitely give it a try. I'd also be interested in a sandbox DragonAge MMO, but only if it wasn't as extremely linear as this game.
  6. Did you miss where I said that one of the bosses on D7 literally become immune to all damage? It's not just the bugs, it's the fact that some of this stuff is just common sense. So you create a raid around trapping some members of the party inside a pocket instance. Fine. Ok. But you don't test to see what happens to those members when the boss dies and they're still inside? Well it bugs them out. So...why release it like that? Why not address/fix it? BTW it's still not fixed on the patch notes.

  8. I've already had one member quit in disgust at this, and many more of us are on every night in vent literally marveling at some of the new bugs and glitches we find in your end game content. This is what passes for quality assurance nowadays? Before you flame, yes - I've read the patch notes. It still doesn't come close to anywhere near fixing the vast assortment of bugs in this MMO's higher end content. Also, before you begin bashing me or my people talking about our raiding skills - if you've run this game's end tier content you would recognize these bugs and know I'm not lying. At times it is difficult to know where the bugs end and the bosses' mechanics start. Bugs like: - Trio boss (Theta, Zeta, Beta) on Directive 7 being bugged and having one boss literally become immune to all forms of damage. - Revan becoming damn nigh unkillable and 1 insta-gibbing players for 40k, far from an enrage timer at 40% left on Foundry. This isn't Hardmode, it's overtuned. - Defend the shipment Ilum daily is bugged and has been for the past month. - WZ daily has been bugged for the past month. A guildie once went 6 wins without any counting. - 3 Weeks ago on our first ever night of pulling Soa, after several wipes, we got him down to 207 hp - less than 1% health, party members still up and not in mindtraps - and he resets. - Several times the next night caused us to spend ~1.5 hours wiping because a couple stairs did not spawn on the 2nd phase, which made the 2nd phase platform incomplete - which then made the stair phase which intros into the 3rd phase completely and utterly useless. - Puddles on the 1st phase of Soa being invisible - even on HIGH *cough*Medium*cough* settings! On a farm run through last night they pooled underneath and took out one of our best healers. She has tons of raiding experience and lots of situational awareness - and I know for a fact she wasn't lying because when I looked at her corpse *I* could see the pool, but then instantly I died because an invisible pool spawned underneath me and killed me. Additionally, several of our members run the game on LOW settings for extra fps and apparently this makes the pool invisible as well. This speaks to poor optimization and QA if on low settings raid mechanics are invisible. - Soa apparently spawns invisible lightning balls on 16 man. I thought a guildie was making an excuse last night for why he died during the 3rd phase when, derp, an invisible lightning ball exploded right next to me. - Speeder boss OP. There is a chance that taking the speeder in EV will kill you when you land. A part of this is tied to falling/dying in the lava - then it's assured you will die to the Speeder boss, but at times after finishing a raid night and taking the speeder back to the Imp Fleet we've died on our landing there. - Killing Soa with a person or two still in mind traps on the last phase apparently bugs them the hell out - and you can not free them even after killing the mind traps. They get brought out, but cannot see anyone or interact with anything, nor move. They will keep rubberbanding back in place to where they were trapped. This SUCKS especially as we had one member relog and then take the speeder and then jog back and then fall down and then be revived to see if he could loot the boss. He was able to. By time I did the same thing - Soa's body disappeared, along with my assigned Columi Master Force chestpiece -_- (CS said they couldn't give me the item as I never looted it from the boss. Thanks BW!) - False Emperor HM has the Mandalorian Boss bugging out like crazy. One run will be perfect and the next two will be buggy as hell. The turrets don't turn and fire on the ship causing the ship's missiles to enrage to 400% and wipe the party. - False Emperor HM HK-47 is ALSO bugged. With a boss that goes stealth it stands to reason that players would DOT him to force him out of stealth. Apparently if your dots kill him while he is stealthed there is a chance that he will not unstealth and not spawn loot. - HM Boarding Party is still bugged and after killing one of the harder final bosses in any of the HMs, still doesn't open the loot chest. Where is the QA here guys? Where was the beta testing? Oh that's right. You released much of this endgame content on Nov 27th, and then included a high level server full of LEVEL 42's!!!! Then pulled that after about a week and then stopped testing on Dec 7th and expect to this stuff to magically be "Bioware quality"? Bug. Ridden. Joke.
  9. You can't raid the Republic City on Tatooine. There's an exhaustion zone that will kill you before you even make it a third of the way. The way TOR's designed OWPvP is meant to make sure it never happens.
  10. For PvP alone? No. I didn't buy TOR for its warzones, I bought it for its world pvp. Except there isn't any. TBH my guild is the only thing keeping me around at this point.
  11. I'm not familiar with their skills, but their entire burst needs to be checked, not merely their armor pen. If Bioware's version of working as intended is getting murked within one knock down animation I CAN ASSURE YOU this game will become another Warhammer=Bright Wizard / RIFT=Pyromancer debacle and people WILL leave this game. These threads on these forums aren't just for fun. The multiple youtube videos aren't just there to be there. They're evidence: and it all points to a couple things: 1. Scoundrels and Operatives burst needs to be checked. You should not be killing lvl 50 geared players who have 16k hp within one ability rotation. 2. Biochem needs to be brought in line with other consumables used in pvp. Furthermore dude, if you did your research, you'd see it's not simply Light Armor classes that are getting murked by these classes.
  12. 1. I am a healer. Squishy or Not you should be not* brought to 10% health within one knockdown. 2. Sorry I was one of the fools who thought that the other crafting skills would be somewhat useful late game other than BioChem. Also, you're missing the point entirely. 3. I am not asking or complaining about other classes' abilities - why? Because with those classes I have a fighting chance. I can LOS missiles, I can kite melee, I can interrupt casters. I cannot do anything against an Operative who knocks me on my fact and bring me down under 10% health almost instantly.
  13. There are major things I do not like about the game. I want to see them addressed in panels. On one of the panels last year that Ohlen was on, I actually got to ask a question about production quality and if that is the reason that, at that time, a newly released MMO was failing (DCUO). Ohlen went on to talk about TOR's production quality. It's pvp world design speaks against that. I want a panel on it. It's gfx engine and lack of high res speaks against that. I want a panel on it. It's massive list of bugs & ability delay speaks against that. I want a panel on it.

  15. I am not one to say nerf this, nerf that. I love PvP. I love fair and balanced PvP. I just watched my lvl 50 sorc healer, 16k+ health (17k with BH buff) get murked in the time it took for the knockdown and sluggish animation of my getting back up on my feet to wear off. Ops/Scoundrels deserve to get nerfed. As does BioChem. Any consumables that are no given from the vendor need to have a pvp nerf applied so as to bring it in-line. EVEN IF you get a scoundrel or op down or stun them out of stealth after their opener on you; unless you are another op burst op/scoundrel or have 5 other people around you, you are going to die. They will heal through any dmg you give them with their god dam prototype medpac, which will even heal crit thanks to all of the other consumables they're using. They SHOULD NOT be able to kill someone within the knockdown animation. They SHOULD NOT be able to bring someone to 10% hp within the knockdown animation. THEY SHOULD NOT be able to bring a 16k+ health lvl 50 under 50% within ONE KNOCKDOWN ANIMATION. Fix this **** - and fast.

  17. TOR is filled with bugs. Especially in endgame content - every aspect of it - as that was the least tested during the beta. Have you ran operations yet? Torrid, horrendously buggy affairs, let me tell you.
  18. I've read the blog, and it is still drastically lacking from making OWPvP in this game anything other than an afterthought. Even their plans for Ilum - they're simply going to be rewarding increased Valor. But umm...what about merc commendations? What are those for? Why are they in the game if the only way we can get them is by converting wz comms for them? So let's get this straight: I can search all day for kills on Ilum to only get Valor when I kill someone OR I can spam WZs all day and receive a flow of sustained Valor xp AND the currency needed to purchase pvp gear AND credits. Which are you going to chose? Once again, after you finish your daily on Ilum - what is the point of staying there vs afk'ing on the fleet in between wz pops?
  19. This topic probably won't get a lot of views or even noticed by the Developers, but it should. What the hell are merc commendations for and why are they in the game if the only way we're supposed to earn them is by trading in WarZone commendations for them? So even if we are on Ilum long enough to earn the required valor to obtain Battlemaster rank - we will STILL be at a disadvantage to people who just spam Warzones as they will be getting Valor at a more reliable and consistent way, as well as the currency needed to purchase pvp gear. TOR's pvp design is so ****-ing bad it's really staggering. I'm not even exaggerating. They need a new head of PvP design. Point blank. Amatangelo just isn't cutting it.
  20. Many people are doofus. That's the problem. You apologists think subscribers grow on trees, or that the SW or BW names will ensure it's an everlasting huge success. Newsflash: they don't and they aren't. TOR is buggy and uncreative and at times simply unfun as **** in a lot of areas and it's a huge problem and it isn't going to go away soon. This just isn't a "forums" problem. There are lots of people not even coming to the forums that are canceling.
