  1. I stopped reading when you said Kaas City was tiny. What? Most of it is inaccessible in-game, obviously. You can see the many buildings.
  2. It does very much annoy me that the Republic was thrown the win on Corellia, even though from my Imperial playthrough I definitely did not see it and my player character did a lot to secure an Imperial victory. In my opinion, the final result was not very fleshed out. Corellia belongs to the Empire! Really, the new Galactic War should just be back and forth wins and losses from both sides. It is completely unsatisfactory that one half of the player base is not allowed to succeed. Hopefully, Isotope 5 will play a role in the future.
  3. I'd also be interested in this. New classes would bring a lot to SWTOR.
  4. The two new mirror classes are the Imperial Guard and the Senate Guard! Both mirror each other as non-force melee classes. The heroic class story of the Senate Guards includes his protection of Republic officials and delving into Senate politics, while the Imperial Guard guards the Dark Council and the Emperor himself, becoming into play in their mechanizations. Both guard the rulers of society, but the differences in the two societies shape them greatly. One battles political corruption as the other battles political deception. Their primary weapons include electostaves, vibroblades, and hand-to-hand. All of these encompass kinetic damage. The two advanced classes are the Arbiter and Renegade for the Empire, and the Justiciar and Harbringer for the Republic The Arbiter / Justiciar wears heavy armor (or possibly medium), and focuses on melee with phrik electrostaff (Empire) or cortosis vibroblade (Republic). The Renegade / Harbinger wears medium (or possibly light) armor and focuses on hand-to-hand combat and martial arts including items such as stun gauntlets. The Arbiter / Justiciar has a tanking tree with energy shields, while the Renegade / Harbinger have a healing tree. Other weapons could also include Arg'gorak or vibro-axes (Garmorrean) Ryyk Blades (Wookie), and Gaderffii (Sand People). Many of these have a memorable role in the Star Wars movies or expanded fiction. A possible race to be added and paired with these classes would be Echani, for obvious reasons. Wookiees would also be incredibly appropriate, but have well-known implementation problems. The class' primary inspiration is from the Royal Guard from the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. There is a special role they fulfill in Star Wars canon, from Jabba's sailing barge to Emperor Palpatine's throne room. All names, details, and such are subject to change. I'm not entirely happy with some. Please be sure to include your suggestions, criticisms, and endorsements below!
  5. Really, if this is true and they're doing this, then they are not hurting the companies, but the players. I doubt it harms EA's bottom line if we cannot play the game right now.
  6. I wish my Sith Inquisitor got an acolyte title, especially seeing as I am keeping him as an acolyte.
  7. Ah, rare spawn camping, that takes me back to my favorite MMO's. Didn't know it was a thing in SWTOR. Going to have to check that out.
  8. Sittable chairs has been sought by many people for a long, long time. In WoW, you can sit in chairs, and that is an MMO. In Skyrim, you can sit in chairs, and that is a single-player RPG. What makes matters worse is the standard sitting animation. If you sit on a chair, half your body will float in the air as awkwardly as possible.
  9. I like these super optimistic posts. Too bad the bright flame of hope they kindle is extinguished as soon as the detractors reply.

  11. I didn't see that specification in the OP. If the harassment stays IC, then it's fine, which is what I thought this thread was dealing with. RP is RP, and only "forcing one's self upon another" (R-word is censored) and other actions that would affect one's character for an extended period of time should be considered crossing the line without expressed consent. If your character is a Twi'lek and you're in the presence of a Pureblood Sith, you should expect to be endlessly insulted. You deserve it, filthy Twee.
  12. If somebody is getting OOCly upset by someone being mean in RP, they really don't know how RP is supposed to work...
  13. Will you do anything to help struggling RP communities on RP servers too full of those who do not actually engage in RP?
  14. That was the stupidest most arrogant response to a post I've ever seen.
  15. Actually grey gear would not be able to be worn by Dark and Light-siders, while that gear is. But anyway I whole-heartedly desire grey alligned items. My character is anything but wishy-washy. He is a lawful neutral Imperial Agent that does what aids the Empire most effectively. Being grey actually takes more effort, because it requires actual thinking and balance. Balance is always much more difficult to achieve than just going all out in one direction.
  16. I know right? Vector would totally be into me too.
  17. Curse Bioware for being creative! And the forearm thing was quoted to me by my friend; she found it adorable. I think you're just looking at all of this the wrong way, especially seeing as... He's my favorite companion.
  18. So you'd rather mobs pointlessly pace back and forth? Okay. I don't consider that life. And the npcs that actually moved with purpose were incredibly rare. For the most part, WoW was bare bones when it came to immersion. Just go to crossroads, for example. A bunch of npcs are just standing there... doing absolutely nothing. It's rather creepy without players, actually. TOR actually has NPCs everywhere that are not needed beyond immersion. Some provide humor, some add to story with their conversations. You wouldn't see npcs that were simply villagers in WoW.
  19. I wouldn't mind them if they weren't so ugly and boring.
  20. Please don't. Not every fine guy in the galaxy is a Han Solo. D:
  21. Except my female friend absolutely loves him, and so do I. He's just such a nice guy and I love his hair. EDIT: I'm bagging him when they release same-gender romance arcs!
  22. I just put everything at about the price the GTN gives me. Trying to buy things with required categories, however, turns me off. I'll just sell for now.
  23. It seems to me they don't want players to give their characters their old items, which was a strategy of mine in KOTOR. It's a bit of a pain, but I guess it keeps gearing companions from being to easy.
