    1.2

Hopefully they go with what the community has suggested, and test out changing some of our skills to tech.
  2. They didn't show what the Smuggler gear is going to look like... I'm scurred. :s
  3. Battlemaster isn't that much better than Champion, I don't know why you're crying so hard.
  4. Half a million people will play the next Flavor of the Month class. The other half a million will continue to play the class they rolled from the beginning because they found it fit their playstyle. If they wanna quit because the best class in the game got nerfed so it was balanced, then they can go ahead and cry to themselves, hysterically saying "It wasn't my fauly, mommy!"
  5. The hat looks like it's modeled after what the Sith lords wore 10,000 years before this even happened. So at least it was based off of something. I don't remember, ANYWHERE in Star Wars where Han wore a pancho.
  6. The difference between Enforcer/Field Tech gear once you get to Battlemaster is very little. The Enforcer gear is basically all power, whereas the Field Tech gear is a mix of power, crit and surge, which is much better for Dirty Fighting and Saboteur.

    Stunlock Bug

Story time! So I go to assault center on Civil War, get destroyed by 6 people, and apparently I spawned stunlocked. I was laying face first in the ground, unable to move, unable to /stuck. Got kicked for inactivity. Pretty cool bug. Anyone else agree?
  8. Kind of a burn to Bioware, but with each patch they release they somehow find a way to screw up Eternity Vault, and it's due to there not being enough testing done on it. Some people are going to get a shot at it before anyone else, and I'd welcome their critique so we don't get the buggy mess that was EV on release.
  9. Damage is never situational. Anyways, we wouldn't be guarding points, we'd be spreading damage around to make it easier on the tanks and healers. Give me a pocket healer, and things will die. Fast. We do have enough defensive capabilities to destroy people in a team fight, with Scrambling Field, Defense Screen and Dodge, and with a healer/guard, we'll survive much longer than we would have in a pug environment. Streamline damage is important.
  10. You can reverse engineer them, but you won't get anything from them (that I know of). I got the recipe for the Columi Enforcer's Device, and got a crit roll on the craft, which gave it that all important augment slot. You can also make superior versions with higher base stats with crit rolls. Not exactly sure how it works.
  11. I agree with the grenades. I don't sell them, because lets be honest, how many people are really going to use them? I give a few to a friend in my guild because they have their uses, but the 5 minute cooldown discourages constant use. We'll see what they do about the cooldown, because that's the min issue with them.
  12. The new tier of PvP gear will not require Valor, but it will require you to win and perform well in ranked matches. Thought that was covered pretty well... But look at it this way. You're one of probably 2% of the population who have the War Hero title.
  13. I missed them completely actually. They were so subtle (sarcasm) that I accidentally skipped over them, thinking they were hilariously unimportant.
  14. Should be fine once new optimizations roll in. There are going to be a couple of areas (mainly the fleet and some of the warzones) where you're going to get a pretty drastic framedrop, but if you're just interested in playing and leveling, you'll get consistently good FPS.
  15. I'm not sure. By the time I finish a rotation and go to refresh my ballistic dampers, it's back up, so I'm not really sure where the issue lies.
  16. No incentive will make people drift away from their faction. Also, not everyone wants to play an alt, as they'd have fallen in love with their main at that point. If people find something awesome, they'll play it. It's personal preference, you can't force people to play something. Now, the people that rerolled Imperial from Republic because they thought **** was going to be easy are another story. Those people should probably not be playing video games if they want things to be easy. I'm at the point where I've rerolled on a new server, both my main character and a couple of alts. If anything, the additions to the Legacy system, and knowing that server transfers are still a long ways off, make me want to stick on my server where I'll have a much higher legacy level by the time 1.2 and the new legacy features are implemented. As for the PVP imbalances, the only real issue is the animations. Same factions queues just ensure people get to play without sitting through 10 minute queues just to find people to play against. Ilum is going to be reworked where they'll most likely try to address the faction imbalance issues, where on almost all servers Imperials outnumber Republic 2 to 1. Although, from the arguments made over the first couple months of release, the only thing being Imperial means on servers where Republic are afraid to leave their base is Imperials are either forced to sit outside the Republic base (some trolls enjoy wasting their time doing this, I do not know why), or pick up a career as a Nascar racer at central and pick up armaments. What you presented is pretty petty. The Republic Fleet looking derelict and the Imperial Fleet look all magnificent and well kept are more problematic than the points you posted.
  17. There's probably a period of time where you can't use it like there is for Ballistic Dampers, which can only occur once every 6 seconds.

    Rip ilum

Glhf running around the Center objective picking up armaments with the other 50 imperials then.
  19. Same can be said about Gunslinger, and Sentinel. It takes that extra bit of effort to beat other classes on an even playing field. You can't really say that operatives are the only class that act that way.
  20. They will be in 1.2. Bioware has stated that they will be adding over 70 new medals based on various actions and completing objectives, and things of that sort.
  21. A weak operative is weak, a good operative is going to wreck your ****. I really have not seen a good one in a while. Now they're just annoying flies in your face. I think the biggest part of operative is all of their main damaging attacks being tech based. There is some damage mitigation there, but not really enough for the super squishy classes for it to protect you from getting 4 or 5 shotted. The other huge issue is getting stunlocked. Someone actually tested this out, where they sat there and let an operative's stun last out, and came to the conclusion that you're screwed if you're alone and without your escape.
  22. This. I've got a friend who spent 2 weeks getting the entire set, and it looks amazing. In addition, the Helm, Chest, Gloves, Belt, Greaves, Boots, and Bracers are fully moddable, with the belt and bracers having both an armoring and a mod slot.
  23. They're going to add medals for completing objectives, so I'm assuming they'll fix the issues with that in 1.2 when they implement the, what, 70 new medals they stated they were implementing?
  24. Because my guild went into Hardmode in full champion gear and wrecked all of the content in the first night? That's completely fair right? Should have made Tionese gear better to start out with.
  25. I understand completely. I'm one of those people that have taken advantage of how often I play to get the best gear possible so I can just destroy people in warzones. (Even though, fully top geared gunslinger still gets destroyed by full centurion geared merc any day of the week)
