In all honesty, what is ranked supposed to change about this game? Is anybody gonna have more fun cause they have a rating to show off? On the majority of servers the population is already so low that each pvp match is a circle jerk with the same ppl over and over (from 7pm to midnight), a 8-man queue wouldn't even work because there aren't even enough ppl for 2 full ops (at least that's the situation on my server). You might get your ranked gear faster and in a different color cause now you have your rank to be able to wear it, woohoo, big whoop. Transfers and server mergers are the number one priority in order not to lose too many customers in the upcoming weeks. A party with free booze and good music is still gonna suck if there aren't enough attendees cause you can only go on for so long, the longer you actually do, the worse it's gonna feel afterwards. Bring ranked and 8-man queues and ppl are gonna be happy for about a week and start ************ afterwards just like they do now. I myself have cancelled my subscription, not because I think the game sucks, I think it has a lot of potential and am happy for others who still find personal joy in playing it, but because I simply don't really have that much fun any more due to too little to do and other more fun alternatives like summer f.e. Give the game a couple more months to mature and it could turn out to be the MMO everybody was hoping for.

It would suffice if the reusable stims/adrenals/medpacs could be used by non-biochemists. Maybe nerf those a bit to increase the gap to the (still exclusive to biochemists) Rakata stuff.

this Nobody can argue that it's not an advantage in a warzone. Everybody can obtain it though so it comes down to the question if bioware intends to make serious pvpers unlock all buffs to perform to their absolute potential or it is indeed something they simply didn't think off. Personally I just adjust but I can fully understand if some players wouldn't want to invest considerable time in 3 alts just to buff their beloved main character.

You can use it a 100%, I have several guildies that are already at 3 buffs and leveling the last class purely to have all 4 buffs available in warzones. Hardcore PVP guilds will probably require you to have all buffs unlocked as it's a huge advantage in warzones. Bioware will change this 100% once they realize the impact on PVP

This is the change that will soon be implemented: When you enter a warzone you will be cleansed off all class buffs and will only be able to apply the buff native to your class regardless of what you have unlocked by finishing chapter 2 with alts. Outside of warzones everything will stay the same. Edit: before anybody asks, no, this is just my opinion and purely an assumption

Ultimately both you and the opposing team missed to gain any points which is the "one and only" goal in voidstar. That's a tie and the only viable conclusion is to randomly draw a winner. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that makes your team deserve the win more.

Don't worry Aluvi, it's rare to get encouraging feedback in an MMO forum. This place is riddled with the self-declared pros who think they are "uber cool" and act up constantly to boast their sense of self-worth that they probably don't have in real life. It's pretty sad to be honest. 2 things about your gameplay that you might want to consider: Obfuscate was never on cooldown, this skill seems to be overlooked by the vast majority of marauders, I was no exception. Try to actively use it in the correct situations, should come pretty naturally after a short time. Deadly Throw I haven't seen you use either. Do not forget that it's a healing debuff too and not only a ranged attack :-) cheers and have fun

Well, quick recovery is gone for Annihilation so no more fury building by spamming Sweeping Slash, which is a pretty substantial nerf. We'll all be wiser though once 1.2 hits live.

There's no "perfect" rotation for an Anni Marauder, in the beginning it's good to memorize certain patterns but after a while you'll only improve if you adept to the situation. About your starting rotation 1. Think if it's really the right decision to start out with force charge, you might get knocked back right away and need to slowly walk balk to your opponent. I really try not to open with charge for the above reason and also to keep it up as an interrupt 2. get your bleeds up and running asap; if you charge as a starter get deadly saber going right away, otherwise after battering assault 3. If you want to use Ravage then only for the first 2 ticks, the last one takes forever so just continue doing something else once the first two hit 4. Force scream I personally only use when my opponent is too far away and low on HP 5. Do not forget to use Obfuscate, crippling slash, Interrupts, etc. when applicable and tactically right

Well, a true role player stays in between the boundaries that he thinks are lore consistent. I used to play DSA (like D&D from Germany) and sure our dungeon master could have made us fight alien transformer Nazis with glowing *****s as weapons but he didn't as it would seem rather silly in a fantasy setting, well, at a second thought pretty awesome too though. IMO it's the players own fault on a RP server if they destroy the atmosphere by crossing certain lines that might be OK on normal servers but seem silly on theirs.

Well, Bioware just needs to add gear that you need to fill with your own mods and enhancements but otherwise is super *********** rare. It will make you look tatally awesome and all your e-buddies will see what of a massive dingdong you have for having spent day after day to acquire your virtual Hummer. But nobody has to cry that you have an advantage gear wise as you will still have to mod your gear with the same stuff available to everybody else.
