  1. Because the effort will never be equal, since you can join a PVP alone and you need to form a group to go into an operation. And there is no way to make the effort exactly the same even without the group formation part.
  2. Actually, the answer the OP give is correct. Without expertise (or any similar PVP stat) either NM raiders have ana advantage over PVPers in PVP, or PVP ends up being the way to gear for raiding (since the gear its easier to acquire).
  3. Ok, again, you snared with sprint are going faster than an operative snared without it. You still have more mobility. You still have more survivability than ops, no matter how useless you think those skills are. Ops are not pretty much on the same of a deception assasin, with this nerfs ops will be worse in every aspect: Mobility (worse, for how much is irrelevant), Survivability (again, worse, no matter for how much), sustained damage (by a pretty good margin) and about equal in burst. And all that without the ranged snare.
  4. Then for your sake i hope you are a sorceror, because stupid nerfs based on bad sorcerors tears wont stop here. BH/Troopers will probably be next, once a couple of good BH/Troopers will be the ones that kill faster the huge bad sorcerors population.
  5. Using a 3 min cd to drop a second 3k CRIT (which is around what HS will crit with this nerfs) is not a very good idea.
  6. My operative is a medic one. That doesnt stops me from realizing that this nerfs will destroy concealment and i dotn want that, because a game that in less than one month destroyed one specs because of qqs is a doomed game. Lethality for operatives sucks in both PVE and PVP, which show how little you know about your own class. Its is decent for snipers because of the increased range, but not for operatives.
  7. Worth it? You have the ability baseline, you can improve it by talents but the ability is there baseline, and can help you catch up a running opponent. Ops dont even have that. And yes, you have more survivability, because you have some tank abilities that are baseline. Instead of that ops have some healing abilities baseline, but those dont help much in the middle of a fight (none of that baseline heals are instant). Ops have (in their dps specs) lees survivability, less mobility, worse ways to decrease their targets mobility and less sustained damage. Without their burst, they are a gimped version of the inquisitor assasin.
  8. If 1.1 doesnt make such a difference, why is it that hard to find a video showing it after 1.1? Stop posting pre 1.1 videos people, its been a week since 1.1 is there, why cant you find a video post 1.1 with an operatrive killing another equally geared lvl 50 in 3 secs? It doesnt help your point that you keep posting pre 1.1, because it means you cant find a post 1.1 one. Now, if 5k is still too big crit for you guys for our opener. How much do you guys think it should crit? Because with the nerfs they are implementing they are going down to less than 3k and a two points, high tier talent will end in a 1.5 second stun COMPLETELY FILLING the resolve bar. And they are nerfing the sustained damage (which was already crap) with the acid blade nerf. Does that really make sense to you?

Well, since the patch notes are from less than 48 hours after they implemented 1.1, a patch wher they aplitted lvl 50 bracket which cause longer queues in the only bracket you can get data from... Yes, we can safely said they didn't have enough data for a nerf like this, which means they are nerfing it because of the qq.
  10. You cant be stunlocked in this game. Resolve bars and cc breakers assure that. Do you even know what stunlock means? Stunlocks are when even after usuing your cc breaker, you still got stunned again and killed, like rogues did in WoW in vanilla. Stunlock doesnt apply to the situations where you dont use your cc breaker and die because of that.
  11. All the classes have high damaging abilties, for my taste the PVP is too fast in this game. But an squishy class with low sustained damage NEED high burst. And a melee class with no gap closer need that stun opener. If you guys want to homogeneize all the classes like other MMOs have made, fine, lower the burst, BUT increase the suatained, and lower the opening knockdown, BUT give us some gap closers. Lowering the burst without giving them more sustained and lowering the knockdown without giving them gap closers is plain stupid.
  12. Yes, you can always roll bad players. Its against good players that a nerf liek this will destroy the class, balance should not be made against bad players, but Bioware doesnt think that way, thats why they are balancing jarring strike knockdowns to bad players that cant press a cc breaker button fast enough.
  13. Yes, and you have to spend two talents for that purpose, the cd is 3 mins.

Wrong, you can have 5k crits by stacking surge (the same operatives have to do to have their 5k opener crit) and of course you have to crit and dont rely on a 100% crit (which operatives dont have either). So when you crit, by stacking surge, you will crit for 5k, when you dont crit, you dont get the 5k crit, the same as the operative.
  15. Yes he can. Is has increased damage on smash, smashs dont use rage and have reduce cd. I do it all the time with my vengeance jugg. Maybe you should learn more about the game you are playing before screaming OP?
  16. You can keep atention to your surroundings, most of the time you will see them before they attack. And yes, having to do it from stealth is a liability, not a benefit. Juggernauts can do it without stealth, and vengeance have reduced cd and dont even need rage to do it. If the operative poof its because the operative have no dots and you failed to throw an aoe into the place the operative poofed and the operative have no way to leave that place fast.
  17. No, a vengeance juggernaut can crit 5k with one button and without rage.
  18. But can be used all the time and not only in stealth and behind you. You can kite me after you get up, and i have literally two skills (not one is a gap closer or helps me get near you) with more than 10m range, not 30, 10.
  19. Yes you can, i see them all the time with both mi medic operative (no increased stealth dtection) and my juggernaut. Pay atention next time, you will see in many cases a shadow moving near you.
  20. So you wont have a problem finding ONE video POST 1.1 with an operative killing someone in 3 seconds then. Good, find it.
  21. Neither does any of the other classes 5k crits skills, neither have that cd any of the other classes ccs. Operatives opener DOES NEED the operative to be in stealth, which other classes dont have that requirement for their 5k crits move.
  22. No, its not. Its the same damage a juggernaut does with its AOE. Remember, the Op is extremely kitable and dont do much damage out of stealth unless you let him get on your back.
  23. You can use your cc breaker. I cant do anything without cc breaker when an inquisitor ccs me and starts popping their more than 5k damage spells on me. A juggernaut can crit more than 5k in AOE with an instant. The truth is, damage of all classes is too high for the health we have.
  24. 5k crit on the opener is not Overpowered.
