  1. As an Operative at least, cover is broken. Sometimes i have a mob targeted and when i press cover without looking precisely everywhere is the green guy is there the cover mechanic makes me roll like 30 yards to one side, leaving me out of range from my targeted mob (why that spot, which is out of reach was even an option idk) and in a mob pack that wasnt intended to be pulled. In another example, i target a mob, and then my automated cghosen position is behind him, with me giving my back to him, even when i have it targeted. I move and move and the position doesnt change. Why would i want to give my back to the targeted mob? The position proposed its stupid. Yes, crouch is not broken, but it doesn't solve the problem, because operatives dont have the shield, and crouching doesnt cover you, meaning you receive the full damage of shots. So, crouch is not broken, but its not cover. Cover its broken in its current implementation for operatives. I imagine republic counterparts have the same problem. Apart from that, IA class is amazing and great.
  2. Reusable adrenals are OP, yes. Medpacks and stims aren't. Other crew skills need buffing to a Biochem without reusable adrenals level and Biochem should be nerfed by taking reusable adrenals out of the game. That's what i think.
  3. The 585 buff is only for 15 seconds and not for primary stats... So no, to make it "even· the robe would have to have a on use effect that gives you 585 alacrity/critical/another secondary stat for 15 seconds with a 3 minute cd OR a slight less powerfull "buff"(meaning increase in stats over the non synthweaving ones) that is permanent. Also, if i'm not mistaken those 585 adrenals require raiding. The solution is easy. Make other professions do 1-2 items better than operations ones, but that require mats from operations and require the tradeskill to wear it, so that other crew skills become usefull. Biochem doesn't need nerfing, other crew skills needs buffing.
  4. In adrenals you may have a point, but reusable stims are fine, they are not OP. You can have all those buffs by buying those items yourself and using them when you need it even without being reusable, with biochem you just save money.
  5. The UI sucks for healing, yes. Setting it to operation in case you dont need to heal companions help a little. Maybe when mods start being made this wont be such a problem, buts right now its very unconfortable, one of the worst UI for healers ever, especially group one where you bar ends up being far from the rest of the group ones. The fact that doesn't have the option to clearly display hots, buff, shields, dots and debuffs its unforgibable.
  6. Wow, so much hate in this thread in just one page... No, no questiosn to ask, ill ask something if when i get to 50 i havent figure it out by myself yet.
  7. I didn't say two surgical probes, i said 1 surgical probe and 1 injection, which will give you a lot (a lot) more healing for 5 more energy and little more time spent than using just the infusion. Infusion is just too inneficient for its costs (TA should be used in surgical probes, energy regen mechanic and to increase healing done by keeping 1 stack at all times up). In order to become efficient again, it needs a decrease of at least 5 more energy or 0.5 second less casts for medics, but as it is now, it would be a waste of resources to cast it over the alternatives and would make the medic casting it an unneficient healer. Try it out and youll see, next time you heal something not trivial, avoid using infusion and use only injection, probes and DS, and youll see you will become more efficient.
  8. Isn't a bit early to ask for nerfs? I dont PVP much, but unless there is a clear and obvious advantage (which i doubt there is) then asking for nerfs after nothing more than an early launch, even before the game actually launches is kinda weird.
  9. No, if you can pull the 1.5 seconds then you can use surgical + injection and heal way more for similar resources. Infusion is useless once surgical is on your bar, absolutely useless and you shouldn't click it from that point if you want to be an efficient healer. Of course, you can still be sucessfull using infusion instead of surgical to consume TAs, but you are not doing it efficiently.
  10. It is not stronger, and as soon as you get surgical probe you will do good in taking infusion out of your bar if you havent already. Its a bad spell for medics. In the "its cheaper department" you should balance the fact that injection CONSUMES TA and injection GRANTS TA, all that with 5 energy difference. While you have nothing else in what to spend TA on, you might have a point, but that wont last.
  11. This is the only one i have experienced, except not only with instancts, but while chaining two injections one after another, i end up, sometimes, missing the frist one, as if i had interrupted it in the last instant, which i didnt. I think it has to do with the animation not ending and the heal not landing till the animation ends.
  12. Talented will crit a lot and grant energy.º Its a healing spell that not only doesn't cost any resource, but actually gives you resources. You should be using it between injections and probes to keep health bar from lowering too mcuh while you regen your energy. Its one of our core spells.
  13. I dont know with which tanks and dps you play and you do dungeons, but i have learned that surgical steadiness have saved me the life too many times in any boss that summons adds and lets the dps take the aggro of those adds easily from me when they come. And to the poster who asked, yes cunning makes us heal for more.
  14. Not YET, but they already said it will come after launch, sometime.
  15. That's the main problem. Not every npc sith has the same armor, not every trooper has the same armor, not every sith warrior has the same armor, yet for some reason, every single imperial agent (npc) wears the same (with minor exceptions). I think we need more skins too. Just look at the avatar selection of this same site. Tons of warrior, bh, trooper, jedi, inquisitor, even droids avatars. Less than 5 IA avatars.
  16. Shhhh. The last thing we should do is to raise awareness. Let them keep their inquisitors while we have fun...
  17. As a medic i have a passive buff to overload shot, so yes, i use it along with the explosive probe to kill some mob fast. Corrosive dart is a great skill for gold and champs mobs. I dont use it on anything lower than that. Also, if you are sided with a BH, they have a skill that does a lot of damage if target has a dot, and i think they dont have a dot when they get the skill, so you help them do more damage by using corrosive dart.
  18. The only feel i feel clunky so far (lvl 24) is the animation of my char taking out the diagnostic scan tool and thus missing a once second in healing that could be problematic. If you pay atention, use kolto injection and after diagnostic scan and you will see what i'm talking about. Its as if diagnostic scan has a 0.5 second cast time before starting to heal.
  19. I did this easily as a medic (i dont know if you are one). Use ccs and the bomb that explodes as your ofensive skills, and then just heal from out of his aoe interrupt skill. And be ready for a 3 minute long fight.
