Yea, like i mentioned earlier, was so pumped to play this, and have been the last month and a half, and im done i think. Tor is just way to casual for my liking. Was really pumped about aussie servers finally too, now i dont really care 1 bit. Its a shame.... I honestly dont think making servers here is going to be very proffitable for BW, this is not the game gamers where looking for. It will pull some kids and maybe people that have never played video games and like star wars in, but people like myself that seek challenge will be looking toward something else im afraid..... I want to cry.....

This man speaks the truth. I have been a biodrone myself and defended star wars tooth and nail ( I Like all of BW single player games ), but when you sit down and really start thinking about what is bothering you in this game and cant place it, then come to the forums and read other ppls gripes and realise that is exactly what the problem is, then you quickly snap out of denial. It isnt easy,its rather painful as i was looking forward to this game for 2 years. SW being my fav sci fi. I feel like crying truthfully..But it is what it is, a game designed for people that have never played mmo's before, heck, video games in general...It lacks challenge above all else, and that to me is unacceptable. I left wow because of the aoe spamfest they started back in wrath, and tor is just as bad.... GW2 here i come i guess, and if that is a casualfest of crapness, then im done with mmo's altogether until some company can bring out a meaningfull, story rich ,challenging, complex and immersing AAA mmo. Whats wrong with a real time action / rpg like dark souls as a mmo? That, my friends would be the best mmo on the market. Give it a plethora of more armors and weapons, and it would sell like hotcake to gamers.

This right here is why crafting in TOR fails. It was fun, i even thought it was quite good till ppl hit engame and said DAILY rewards trump anything crafters can make... Ive tried to re about 50 green enhancements for my companions for a blue without success. At this rate i will be on the next lvl enhancements by the time i actually get a blue out of it.. Worthless.... WHY BW!.Why does everything have to revolve around tokens. Do you really think your player base is as simple minded as wow where we need our hand held thruout the whole game?

Yet again someone else that doesnt have a clue. How am i supposed to round up anything when the WOW mindset of players came over to this game with it. I mean, 40% of the time if a dps beats me to the next pull, they will actually go ahead and pull it for me!!! Im then left to run around like an idiot trying to gather up 5 mobs..... I think just because of this right there, im done with the trinity.Ive had enough. 10 years of tanking, im done. I love to tank, but i just cannot do it anymore for moronic dps people these days that think spending more then 3 minutes in a flashpoint is WAAAYYY to long... EACh and every time on cinematics ( especially when i havnt even seen them yet , they say SPACE BAR, SPACE BAR NOOB, Hurry up )...yea i think im done..... Wasnt really looking forward to gw2 that much, but after some reading, i think it will trump wow, even tor. And so far no dedicated tank...i like..... Wow, best post ive read in a long, long time. This is EXACTLY how i feel and have felt since blizz broke my heart with wow by bringing out wrath of the casual king... Just for the poster that said he was 30 and liked the casual go go go mentality, im 34, also work 50 hours a week ( some weeks more ) but dont have kids ( hey mate, that was your choice to have kids, im selfish, i like my alone time to much. ill have kids one day so dont blame us that you have kids and dont have time to play , your choice remember ). So just because people like this CHOOSE to start families , CHOOSE to do other things , WHY should this impact our gaming? Why do gaming companies CATER to these people ? You cant play for more then 10 hours a week, FIND ANOTHER HOBBY....Why must the true gamers be the one to always suffer?????

Everything is too easy. Im lvl 45, just starting hoth. My class quest is lvl 36 0r 37, its grey. Its been grey since mid 30's. I love to FP, i do space combat, i do EVERY quest on every planet ( why would i skip quests, its a new game, i want to see them all ) , I DONT pvp ( imagine if i did, id be lvl 50 on hoth ). Why is leveling so easy, and why do we level so fast? Is there a need to level this fast? Whats the rush to 50? Wows BC xpack was the best mmo experience ive had with this genre in a long time. It actually required you to use your brain, or keep dying... Kids, you now have your easy gameplay and entitlement, enjoy.......Im going to replay dark souls again, atleast theres a game designed for gamers....

I would love a fps mmo. Either something like borderlands or skyrim with heaps of customisable options and diverse crafting and gameplay. Heaps of stats.Non faceroll... Let skill finally be a factor of mmos rather then just spamming buttons . Or the person with better gear wins the day. Stuff that. Bring on the first person where u can run , hide, roll w/e. Then we shall see who the real gamers are...

Exactly like a few have said, jug tanking is totally doable, but i feel a bit miffed having to work 3 x as hard as say a bh to tank ( not that i mind ) but for working 3 x as hard, shoudnt my tank be 3x as better?

So you play a bounty hunter then? Ive asked bh and other tanks that own jugs ingame what they thought, and each and every one of them explained in detail why they threw away their jug and rolled another tanking class.. So how bout you find a nice , high cliff...........

Dont get me wrong , i like the playstyle of a jug ( prot warrior for 6 years ). But like in wow, why o why do all the good, harder to play classes end up being the most gimped? Paladin vs warrior. Paladins used to **** over my warrior in threat and mitigation for years, yet being the noobs choice of tank, everyone had one.Even the bads, and guess what , they cleared content with it. Now give them a warrior and see them fail....( back in bc im talking, when tanking was actually an art, none of this aoe spamfest bs they have going on there atm ) Same here, jugs are harder to play with heaps of different skills to manage then any other class ( no i havnt played other classes , but ive questioned ALOT of ppl and read alot about other classes ). Why is it in every game i always get suckered into playing the harder yet less optimal tank. Same happened to me in rift. More importantly , why dont these gaming companies stop pandering to the bads and actually make the harder tanks to play the better ones, all the way down to spammable aoe BH tanking. Its like they are saying, you dont know how to play a harder class, so we arnt going to even worry about that class much, just pick the class with the least resistance whilst tanking so you can faceroll your way through the game. I like working for my kills, i like challenge. I HATE FACEROLL. Its why i never rolled a paladin and why im never going to roll a bh to tank with...

see, my groups cant beat this fp either. Wanna know why. Because these people playing today ARE NOT gamers. They play mmos and dont really have any hand eye coordination, dont really have any twitch, but they know how to mash buttons really well. This is the REAL reason mmos and games in general have been dumbed down alot for the masses.....ENTER THE CASUAL....The plague of gaming everywhere....

the only thing stopping me from rolling an alt ( and id really like too ) is because im going to transfer of these servers when oceanic servers are created. My question is, if i roll an alt, will my WHOLE account be able to be transfered? And pls tell me we will be able to transfer to oceanic servers.

Theres NEVER anyone there to do them with, why put lvl 40 heroic missions on a low lvl planet. Noone ever goes back to do them but ppl like me that need to do every quest. Its pointless, and now im a little peeved i cant complete them.

yea, like i said im not 50 yet, but everyone has epics at 50, all i want to know is why, why cant they have blues till they earn some epics. Something akin to wows BC was PERFECT in forms of gearing up. I still remember raiding ssc and i had 2 blues on cause i had no better.

Im not even 50 yet. Just came back from 1 week hiatus working and have noticed ALOT of 50's running around sporting high end gear. Not cool. I like to look forward to doing hard content and doing something that takes a long time to accomplish so i have something to strive for. Looking at all this purple everywhere disheartens me immensly. Remember in vannila wow where someone had 2 epics and a mount. THat to me was epic, i used to think one day that would be me, and it was, eventually, when i put in the time and effort and earned it. Now they give out everything for just buying 1 months sub.......

Every lvl 50 i inspect has almost all purple items and tier gear on. Why did you not make us work a little for gaining gear instead of handing it to us on silver platters?

This is why star wars will fail, it has too many ppl like u in it. Im a tank, combat logs all the way, i need to know who isnt working with me. Im busting my balls tanking for you silly dps, i cant see what your doing , and if your just cruising thru it while im busting my balls, then we have a problem...

Tor is faceroll, no question asked. They made it like this on purpose. They ARE NOT going to increase the difficulty any time soon or at all. So for those of us chasing a challlenge, we already know what tor is about. Sure the bugs will get sorted, but the lack of challenge will allways be here, regardless! And finally in 6 months time diablo 3 will be out ( and lets face it, my 3 real life mates are going to buy and play it , which means ill be able to play with people that actually know how to play ) so thats all i really want, is to play with my mates. Also, lets not forget GW2 , if arenanet somehow pulls this game of ( without the trinity gameplay ) and adds some challenge to it where loot ACTUALLY means something ( GASP, I KNOW RIGHT, WORK FOR LOOT, WHAT THE....) and fights are more then just tank and spank bs, then alot of the serious gamers like myself will be flocking there in droves. What people like me are honestly waiting for is a AAA mmo developed for gamers, challenge, grind, working for gear, NO WELFARE EPICS, Gold doesnt rain from the sky, Dodging bosses abilities, running out , hiding behind terrain etc, NO TANK AND SPANK, And leveling that takes longer then 1 week to get to engame, 1 week, thats utter fail, just like that other game.
