Well, you are right about 1 thing , i do have an oversized ego. But thats just me in general, in real life, pretty much in anything i do. So your saying i cant have an ego in this game?

I dont play wow anymore, way to casualised for my likeing. Tell me this, do you like just rolling your face over the keyboard and aoeing flashpoints down? Is that your idea of fun? Its not mine. I like to think and actually pretend i have some skills at gaming when doing these flashpoints... Did foundry just before, work rang, i was on the phone for the last half of the flashpoint, im the tank. i had 1 hand, clicked everythign and ran around with my mouse.Killed 2 bosses. ..finished without a hassle in the world.. Umm yea........

Yea because you know what ive raided. Classic example of yet another moron defending a once great game . Mate if wow was still in the bc era, id still be playing it and putting in my 30 + hours every week into it. Bc never had hardmodes, it was one mode, you either did it or u didnt. Hardmodes, pffft, CRAPOLA.....Im not going to beat encounters on normal and then do them again with the boss having more hitpoints....waste of time.

Im not really waiting for anything, i just wish every flashpoint wasnt an aoe fest. I honestly hope hard mode flashpoints require brain power

Because i fear for the future. Once i hit 50. I quit wrath and cata at end game because is was all so watered down, the leveling was good, but the end game was way to casual for my liking

For some reason , no one believes the heroic quests are easy at the right level. Either the few of us that say they are easy are lying , or the general population of tor is just bad...

Theres onyl 1 console game i play, and i went out to buy a ps3 just to play it. Dark souls. Epic game i recomend to everyone that wants to get better at gaming. about my sig, i dont like to talk about idle bs while i play games, i do that at work all day. Im here to kill and progress. gaming is not my social outlet, im sorry to say. I really dont care how your day was nor what you did all day. You just keep thse heals coming in and we wont have a problem:)

Thank you, this is exactly what i meant. Something easy that gets roflstomped within the first few months does not encourage people to come back to and keep playing. What they need is a carrot on a stick. Gear, items etc is the carrot, challenge is the stick.

Is this the type of mmo people want then these days? Ones developed for people playing 45 minutes a day? What about the other end of the spectrum, the poeple that have the time and want to play 30+ hours a week. Wheres our mmo? Dont even dare say any of those old other crappy mmo titles .They are not AAA titles, they dont count. Wheres our AAA title? Thats right ,we dont get a AAA title . So we are forced to play ( and like, or quit ) these other AAA titles that are designed for weekend warriors. Worst part is, theres not a damned thing we can do about it.. Either like it, or stop playing our favourite genre forever..

A quote used very often works well for this situation, its called L2P. Seriously, making credits is easy. How are people having problems making credits? O thats right, they dont like " grindy " mmo's where they take " time " to do things in. They would rather rush rush rush . Its people that rush rush rush that have no credits and cant afford that speeder. I get a quest, i kill more then what i have to kill, then look around for any chests in the area, kill a few " tough " and " elite " mobs ( which drop more credits btw ), kill a few more mobs for good luck etc . Some call this grinding, i call it making ends meet!! Moral of my story, i had enough credits to buy my speeder and start me out with gear, add crafting and finding what sells, making the blue version and putting it on trade market = win...... Cool story, i got plenty more.

Pvp is ****, i never pvp in mmos, i just dont like the 20 on 20 bs crap. Duels ill have, they are fair, but warzones, you can keep them... My pvp comes in the form of modern warfare , where actual skill is needed ...

It is. Hence why i came here hoping for a " little more " then the casual antics going on over there at blizz HQ. Im a star wars fan first and foremost, but being a gamer for over 2 decades, easy games just dont interest me anymore, the only fun i can derive from gaming is when theres challenges that i like to overcome with all my gaming knowledge ive accumilated over 25 years worth of playing computer games..

Reread my post, im worried about ALL ASPECTS of the game, not only raiding.The leveling is casual, the FP are casual, everything seems to be a bit " too casual "..

Up to this very point in time, ive done every single heroic mission and right up to foundry with flashpoints and found none to be very difficult at all. I always play a tank in every mmo as i like to control the flow of the combat and i just dont trust some of these other tanks out there. All my gear is min/maxed to my lvl with the best mods i can craft and buy.My companions are all in orange gear with min/maxed with power and crit. I still havnt found anything to give me an actual challenge yet, even in flashpoints where u get that one guy that just doesnt have a clue, you can always make up for his mistakes and still win without breaking a sweat.Dont get me wrong, the ease of gameplay is quite a change from hectic button mashing, im really liking it..but... This game IS NOT hard. If they nerf the content then im afraid they are only signing their own death warrant. This games casual/easy enough as it is.

Well at end game there isnt really much more to do but the high end flashpoints and raid.\ Im not one to do dailies. in my 5 year stint on that other game, i think i could count on 1 hand the amount of times i ran dailies. All it is for me is raids and pve content im afraid

Im casual and im lvl 40

Ive been loving every minute of it so far and im only lvl 40. On the fleet, everywhere i look there are 50's running around in full epic gear already. Be it pvp, or pve, its still all ....epic..... I read elsewhere all hardmode raid bosses where already down after 2 weeks. I know i should only care about my progression, but just hearing that makes me loose a bit of the allure of raiding that i was looking forward too. None of the flashpoints have been any challenge yet, and i asked a few guildies and most said the hardmodes wernt really tat much challenge either. I knew this game was going to be a casual friendly mmo, but i have to ask, is this just a bit "too easy "? I honestly thought warcraft was our fisherprice mmo, raiding for kids but i suppose i cant really say to much as i have no experience with end game tor yet.

My experience with tor is different. I run the daily FP every day without worry, allways have a group in under 10 mins. I party for each and every heroic on every planet all the tiime. I do not understand how you havnt partied once in 12 days??? Dont worry though, its people like you that dont go out of their way to make a party that i dont want to party with anyway. Look at wows lfd, all the people that normally wouldnt of put parties together are all flocking into the lfd autoqueue system and what a shammbling mess that is, those pll dont even know how to play their toons half the time.

Quite frankly ive had enough of all you nay sayers. I wish the free month would just hurry up so you can all leave and not post your crap all over these forums. Whats wrong with the game? Ive been gaming most probably longer then most of you crybabies have been alive for, i know a good game when i see one. Sure theres minor hiccups, target of target, shift click name in chat etc etc but IN TIME they will get corrected and i can wait cause i can see this will be a brilliant game when all the minor details are ironed out. And its not like the game is 2 weeks old or anything is it..o wait.... So to be rather blunt, **** off and crawl back to whatever hole it is that you guys slithered out from, your not welcome here anymore. Agree 100% . ESPECIALLY point 9. Best roleplayer ive played in years, and a mmo to boot, what more could i ask for.
