You're a sentinel. They have a very high learning curve for skilled PvP. You'll get better. And lol @ op pity.

It's basic risk Vs reward. You can either go around or you can take a chance on a faster route. It's a good as is.

This happened to me once at the same time as I cloaking screened. I spent the next 15minutes unable to do anything or be seen by anyone. I went and got coffee.

Yeah it's something with the animations. I have a LOT more issue with this type of thing on my sniper than any of my other chars for example.

Grav round has a cast time, counterspell it. Now go whine elsewhere. Hell, some classes can talent their cs down to 6 sec cd for a 4 sec lockout. How many grav rounds do you think they'll be putting out with that?

BW should just cut their losses and make a new PvP system. People who haven't experienced this travesty yet won't need to, people who have the gear and titles already don't lose anything (in fact they gain unique titles), and everyone gets to enjoy a (hopefully) decent new system.

Except that the objective tracker doesn't work right (I finished one huttball game where I capped 5 of the 6 scores and had no obj points at all) and the top damage/healing is unaffected by location. So you could be some deathmatching newb off in the middle of nowhere and get those.

Expertise makes things suck, thus pre-50 is better. Plus being able to mod my gear to look cool > my **** looking bm gear.

You can already respec so your choices are level a second char or spend cash when you want to switch. Seems fair to me. Wanting multiple specs just encourages cookie cutter newbness and kills what little diversity actually exists.

It depends entirely how they're afking. If they're sitting at their comp doing something else and just moving now and then that's perfectly legit. Sure, it makes them ******es, but that doesn't exactly set them apart from the majority of the player base. If they're using a third party program to automate it, then that's reportable. The solution to this issue is simple. No base rewards. Give commendations for ONLY objective related actions and have the total points earned multiplied if you win. Rewards would then be based on contribution leaving afkers with nothing and giving people an incentive to try and win, rather than just deathmatching like newbs. The downside is that it would require bioware to actually think about what would give commendations. ie, damage/heals near a turret, not elsewhere, treating the ball carrier the same as a turret in aldaraan point wise, etc.

Every MMO I've played in the last decade requires you to face your opponent, so I don't know what "other pvp games" you're talking about. Incidentally this game loves to auto-turn you for many skills anyway. Also, lol@ a sin wanting pity in pvp.

Indeed. And it's too late for a fix, they need to add in a PvP grind valour 80 set. Preferably one you can mod so I don't have to wear the lame looking PvP gear.

A stun or cc is you being unable to move yourself due to restrictions, why would that suddenly prevent the laws of physics affecting you?

You can have two bottom bars, a left, and a right. It's in the interface menu thingy.

Take a screenshot of the alderaan capture point and sit there watching that. Gives you the same, if not better FPS than the actual game.

Well it's not so much a saber issue as it is lack of mod gear. PvP (hell, all top end gear) should be full mod gear so you can customise your looks. It's just bad design on bioware's part, hopefully they'll fix it soonish. That said, if they could fix the cutscene and sheathing vibro animations that'd be great too.

... That story has gotten way more violent than when I was a kid...

Runnin' out of days bioware. If this patch isn't out and useful before the end of the "free" month expect to lose a large chunk of players.
