  1. I think BioWare has stated that all further updates & expansions will be available free of charge.
  2. Guys, stop complaining, it's either huttball nearly all of the time or you can wait in the WZ queue for 2 hours to fight the republic. /thread
  3. Recently, there are a large amount of players who are "AFK" in a warzone, or who just don't contribute at all to the game. There have been a lot of arguments about it, and I've seen a lot of players report others for doing it. After thinking about it quite a lot, I can't quite decide on whether or not it should be a punishable offence. The reasons given for why AFKing in a WZ should be punishable are: - "It makes it harder for the team who have AFK players to win, therefore lessening their game experience, rewards and entertainment." This is a complete fact. AFKing players do make it harder for the team to win, but not impossible if you only have one. Having a system where the team can get rid of the AFK player can solve this problem. While players who AFK may actually have an IRL situation that wasn't foreseeable before joining a WZ, most people who are AFK are doing it because they are lazy and want some rewards without doing anything. - "It purposefully interrupts the gameplay of other players" & "People who do not help with the WZ objective and just fight, should not be in the WZ" This reason i don't think is a very viable one. It is stated in the TOS that doing so will end with some sort of punishment or account suspension from BioWare representatives. Are AFKers in WZs doing this? No, i don't think so. While the whole point of a WZ is to complete whatever objective that the WZ is focused around, some players prefer to do other things, such as constantly fight to build up damage/killing blows, and in effect learn how to use their class effectively in PvP, so they may have a better end game experience. This does interrupt the gameplay of the others on the team who wish to win the WZ, but as far as i can see, the members of the team who want to win the WZ are also interrupting the gameplay of those who just want to fight. People may say "oh just do open world PvP if you want to do that," but i don't feel this is really an option as open world PvP has uncontrollable elements such as enemy player level, number of enemy players, amount of time spent finding an enemy player to fight and may more. Doing this in a WZ, under a controlled environment where players are bolstered and are more equal, therefore making it slightly more fair. So, do you think it's fair for people who just want experience in fighting in PvP, to be banned just because they would rather fight than complete the WZ objective? Apply the same situation, but to an AFKer in a WZ. While you may believe that they interrupting contributing members of the team's gameplay, you can also see the situation as the members that are contributing are interrupting the AFKer's gameplay experience. They are doing this by (if AFKing is a bannable offence) forcing them to do what they want, or to be reported & banned. While it is agreeable that they shouldn't even be in a WZ if they aren't going to help, i feel it is more "being a bad player" rather than a "rule breaker" if they choose to go AFK. As far as i can see, by hassling those AFKing to play, they are then breaking the same term in the TOS, as the AFKers. What does everyone else think about people who AFK in warzones? TL;DR - We do need a system to stop people from AFKing in warzones, but because we don't i do not believe people should be punished for it. People who doing it are just being annoying, rather than breaking any rules. Just like if someone camps your corpse in open world PvP or something.
  4. leave my class alone. hitting 2k on my opener @ level 17 on level 40s is lovely
  5. You have to reverse engineer something stupid like 1k+ blues for a purple.. it can be very frustrating as it's a huge credits sink.
