  1. My Inquisitor does this, too. I don't know why you think it's Sage-only.
  2. I'm starting to pick up Rakata gear and I'm honestly confused. In exchange for trivial gains on Aim and Endurance I find the secondary stats are trading things that would be useful for a tank and replacing them with accuracy. For example: Columi Supercommando's Helmet +105 Aim +123 Endurance +48 Shield Rating +29 Defense Rating Rakata Supercommando's Helmet +112 Aim +132 Endurance +51 Accuracy Rating +31 Absorption Rating The "upgrade" to Rakata gear loses me 48 shield rating and 29 defense rating in exchange for a boost to my accuracy and absorption. Since my accuracy is basically 100% already, and I have no issues holding threat, I'm having a hard time rationalizing the difference here. It's like this on all the Rakata gear that I'm seeing - doesn't feel like an upgrade in any meaningful way.
  3. We can do two separate 8-man runs just fine, but the moment we tried doing this encounter on 16 man, even with the optimal solving rotations, we get trainwrecked. Farthest we've made it is the third wheel.

  5. If you open a Champion Gear Bag, you have a shot at getting Unassembled Champion Whatever Gear Piece and Centurion Commendations. You can then buy Centurion Gear with the commendations, or exchange the Unassembled Pieces for Champion Gear. However, it also looks like the Champion PVP Vendors sell Champion PVP Gear for a few dozen Champion Commendations. Where the hell do those come from? I've opened, probably, a hundred or so Champion Gear Bags so far, and only received Centurion Commendations. Do the Champion Commendations come out of Battlemaster Bags? If so, then where the hell do Battlemaster Commendations come from? The reason I'm color-coding this stuff is because every time I ask in-game, people seem to be confusing Champion Commendations with Centurion Commendations. The source of the latter is obvious, but neither I nor anyone I've talked to has seen the former.
  6. Just won 8 games of huttball in a row, and my daily "Warzone Matches Won:" is sitting at 2/3. I know MMO's operate by creating time sinks, but come on now.
  7. Counterpoint: Repubs literally don't have to go anywhere to farm kills, since they can AOE-tag Imperial invaders, or heal the turret, and let the turret clean up players for free valor.
  8. With the diminishing returns, you don't even get valor after the first kill or two. We all left the base because there was absolutely nothing of value to be had there.
  9. Thread's purpose wasn't to discuss any of the other problems; I'm simply trying to shut down the wailing echo-chamber of people playing telephone and not the game.
  10. THE TURRETS ON ILUM DO NOT YIELD ANY VALOR. We need people to stop having insane overreactions to information that isn't even true. I'm on the Sith Wyrm server and we've been fighting in the Republic base and killing these turrets for about 45 minutes before we gave up. There is no valor to be had, and the diminishing returns on player kills ensures that it's a gigantic waste of time to even be in there. I would not be surprised if this was started by a Republic player who saw the chance to farm $texas amounts of Valor off of the crowds of Imperial players throwing themselves onto the base turrets by simply AoE'ing the crowd and letting the turrets finish the job.
  11. People need to stop the echo chamber here.
  12. The Ilum turrets do not give valor. . We've been doing it for about 45 minutes on the Sith Wyrm server. There are no rewards to be had, and this has been an incredible troll by whoever started this rumor.
  13. Bumping this, since we're still at it and nobody's seeing anything.
  14. We're killing turrets on Sith Wyrm and there is literally no valor to be gained from them. I'm confused as to what everyone is frothing over.
