  1. From what location? We tried various locations around there and could not find anywhere within range to pull.
  2. I like the changes to the GCD. It is now more obvious to me when my skills are available and when they are on GCD or individual CD.
  3. I loved having multiple roles i could change between out of combat in rift. It's just a shame that rift wasn't star wars among other faults. I think they should keep the respec costs but also add the ability to purchase extra roles. They could be really expensive and it would still be a great alternative. IMO ofc. _____________________________________________________ I reckon if you took the functionality of Rift (UI customization, macro bind etc) and combined it with the Star Wars IP and biowares talent for story and then threw in lotro's party elements (im thinking specifically of the fellowship combo thing) and then to top it off had WoW raid boss dynamics (i never got into wow it was a boring IP but i hear the boss fights were good times). I think all that would be an MMO to dominate the market for decades to come.
  4. Many people had unrealistic expectations, or updates and fixes did not come as fast as they wanted. Either way the game is still going strong, perhaps try a different server. For half of everyday at least my server has nearly 200 people on the fleet.
  5. Always? Was your particular country ignored during the "global" launch?
  6. Lol, that is a great way to describe how it makes many people feel. "I am not an NPC, talk to me :)" I personally think the person asking you to join should explain why rather than force the unknowing recipient to ask as is far too often the case in blind invites, its not just not speaking beforehand, it's also no communication from them after accepting a blind invite. I don't accept blind invites anymore because far too often people just assume you are doing what they are doing, or think that accepting their invite means you have to start following them around without even explaining what's going on. If that was a rare scenario rather than the norm for blind invites then I would gladly change my perception of them. I totally feel the same. Sometimes you just want to play at your own leisurely pace and more often than not when you group with someone else they just want to rush through everything.
  7. Lol I was kidding Lol, you would fail any standard psyche test with that mentality, just FYI
  8. It is asking to party but nothing more. What needs to be asked is what content you want them to group with you for. The asking needs to be more specific than a party invite. There are obviously 2 sides there though, each favoring speed. On one hand the people who send blind invites want to save time by just sending (or spamming in some cases) party invites. On the other hand the people who do not like blind invites want to save time by not having to figure out why they are getting a party invite.
  9. No. A 50 in my guild who is grey aligned has 2 level 50 relics that are really nice. They exist, just keep looking.
  10. They don't miss out, they just want special treatment for not being able to make up their mind lol.
  11. Hey, if they have the decency to ask first then I don't mind at all. The "dick move" (as you term it) is thinking it takes a long time to type "/s party?" EDIT: Also, 5-10 minutes wouldn't hurt anyone. If someone cannot wait 5-10 minutes then they need to re-evaluate their life.
  12. Or... and this is the tricky bit, have some common sense and realise that quite a few people would rather know what you want to group up for before you invite them. Think of it this way, if YOU (anyone) wants help with something, why should the other person have to be the one to ask why? It makes no sense. The times I have accepted blind invites the person who invited has never said anything like "hey, gunna hit this boss" or mission etc. So if the people who send blind invites want it to become acceptable then they need to meet us in the middle. If someone accepts a blind party invite tell them what it was for.
  13. Also, people might not want to share loot drops with some random stranger. Also, for some quests people might enjoy the challenge of soloing, not everyone likes when things are too easy. For example, some people do not like taking higher levels with them in Flashpoints because they do not then get to experience the challenge that such things are meant to be. The same can apply to any mission or mob.
  14. I agree, I have even had people get mad at me for declining unannounced party invitations. I tend to get them most when waiting for a bonus objectives boss to spawn and the someone else runs up and spams me invites that I keep declining until they ask to party. It's certainly not a game breaker but in my opinion the people who don't bother to ask before sending a party invite are generally not the sort of people I want to party with anyway. Also duel requests. Ask first, because usually I'm busy and if you ask I can finish what I'm doing before the duel.
  15. Try Freelancer by Microsoft, no extra controllers required. And also a great game. Just using some of Freelancer would make the space combat an epic part of your SWTOR adventure.
  16. Delete the entire planet? What about the area with the PvE dailies? for many of my guild this has been a great way to gear a little better while waiting for more to hit 50 for regular HM and Ops runs. Can't comment on the other half of the planet with the control points since I have not spent much time there at all, the other part though is fine IMO.
  17. We all know that people aren't smart enough to read this and actually put their Server name in the thread title, or even at the front of it. They are meant to do that now but don't. It will cut back on the time it takes to hunt for events and guilds on the same server sure but I will still have to open 2 out of every 3 threads to read the first post or two to find out which server it is for because people just don't follow rules like this. The easiest solution is to just have one forum per server. Since telling posters to put their server name in their title is beyond the comprehension of most of them.
  18. And you get this figures how? Know how big the servers are how?
  19. How space combat is atm is not new information. You are coming very late to the party mate. Too late tbh, the game is launched. Deal with it If they decide to change it then cool, but in the meantime either play it or don't.
  20. TOR not ToR. For someone who appears to enjoy writing you should really know that...
  21. Thank you. This issue was dealt with a bit backwards and my game isn't due to arrive till well after the 22nd but I personally appreciate the 2 extra days I get as a sort of compensation. Very glad I commited to TOR with a CE. To the future! May the force be with us all!
  22. I know her, she was in the last few episodes of dollhouse.
