  1. Lack of customization of anything in this game = EPIC FAIL.
  2. I have cybertech and its a pain as well. Most of the time u can buy mods better than the ones I can make -after wasting mats to make things to reverse engineer to get better stats and then struggle to find the mats I need for the improved versions. I took slicing (thinking I could buy mats with the credits and having access to augments) and constantly come up short on mats and they are ones that u get through underworld trading and time and again theres NONE to buy on the GTC. I dont bother crafting anymore and after reading this post ima try biochem
  3. IMO Bounty Hunters should be able to use every and any tool to get the job done. Rifles included.
  4. Totally support this page. I knew something wasn't right and now I understand why. IDK if BW can (or will) fix these issues.
  5. I think everyone has a tipping point for every game (MMO or otherwise) where it no longer is any fun for them. I played City of Heroes/Villains for 6+ years and loved it - but when it went free to play - that was it for me. It feels like a Facebook game with all the Ads to buy this buy that. So I left, but that was my decision. As for SWTOR, I like the game alot, but the lack of character customization (i used to spend hours just on my costume), the long, long, long walks between mishes (im used to flying), and the terrible system for finding a group (easy peasy in CoX) is going to push me to my tipping point sooner than later, and I'll go back to city of Heroes/Villains as I'm sure alot of ppl will go back to WoW, or another MMO they like. Overall I'd say the story driven content in SWTOR is fun, most everything else isn't. Without an open world and tools for people to create their own fun (ie: character customization, player cities, choosing your own fing ship and modding it, etc) this game IMO isn't going to be around for long. Once the player base leaves in large numbers its almost impssible to get them back - we all know about SWG.
  6. I dont like the (3) retractable wing engines. As soon as we can MOD the appearance of our ships those are the first to go, or let me steal another ship. I also dont like climbing stairs to get to the cockpit - you call that practical? efficient? I'd say I stole a rusted out AMC gremlin with a supercharged 401. Yea its fast and has a hatchback - but it looks stupid, handles for s**t, bad on gas, and it would cost a fortune to fix up cuz u cant find parts lol
  7. I came over from City of Heroes/Villains and one thing I cannot stand (and maybe this is what your talking about) is when I select a power (ability) I dont have access to any other power - you see the them grey out and a line go through them. ***? You cannot que powers to fire off next. I fing hate this. It feels so wonky.
  8. WoW has been out for a long time. It gave people want they wanted and has done really well. I dont see TOR being around for half as long as WoW. The story driven voice over is a nice evolution in MMOs, however, the Star Wars Universe is sort of limiting. We have only 8 classes, what can you add? The customization has too many hurdles. Space Combat is a mini-game. I know TOR will evolve but hopefully it does so before turning too many people off.
  9. Well if Space Combat is going to be a mindless mini-game can I get my lazy companions to shoot for me? lol May I ask for a Space Combat Flashpoint? Some team play, and control of my ship, and an ability to board capital ships? and, and, and...
  10. Its just crazy that Star Trek Online Space Combat was done really well. I guess I was sort of expecting that type of gameplay. I've always loved Star Wars over Star Trek and its hard to accept Star Trek out doing Star Wars in Space Combat lol. I do like this game alot and the story-driven voice over is excellent.
  11. I'm wondering what people think about Space Combat. I hope it is changed in the future because...you got to be kidding me. It feels like an after thought.
