The thing about time thievery is that a second here and a second there adds up to a whole lot of annoyance. Kinda like how the average web surfer makes up an opinion about your site in 1.5-3 seconds. If that time is spent in an arbitrary limbo (ie. loading), you and your site are screwed. Seconds. Fractions of them. Who's playing the wrong genre here? You make a decision and stick with it, that's MMO's. There's much less room for going back on things than in single player games, and if your respec price is THAT high - I'm not buying that this is all due to "experimenting" (unless you're suffering from some sort of attention disorder, in which case, hm figures).
