Is the game worth playing now or what?

Hi, I stopped playing awhile back because of the horrible optimizations for the ATI card and I want to try the game again to see if its better. but i don't want to download the 20+ gigs client unless I'm sure. Is the client a stream like WoW or are they not that advanced yet? Anyway?

Well my card is an ATI HD 4870

I had major FPS issues around launch time and a lot of people did too, mostly ATI users. Did this fix this? Can anyone confirm before i reinstall?

True that, but the game is finished, its just the bugs and how badly the game design is CREATED by Bioware. Dragon Age was great under EA. Mass effect 1 and 2 were great. Then dragon age 2 flops and now this?

You just want to think its EA's problem. But whos doing the bug fixes, etc? Bioware...simple as that.

Please Bioware...the FPS issue is everywhere in the "Horrid FPS" thread and its been made over 10 times over again and still no corrections and you still haven't said a word on what's going on. Please. I want to enjoy your game that I spent money on. At least for my birthday give me some details on what's going on. I should be able to run this smoothly with my ATI card.

Okay your announcing new content yay...but you shouldn't be focusing on that. I have been reading so many problems with your customer service ignoring our need for help, saying your "investigating" and you really aren't. You don't care about us. Wheres the FPS issue fix? The population is so unbalanced that I don't even want to play Republic anymore which is causing the problem. This game is going to die on Jan 21st. You can already see the game dying. Look at the server populations for example. If you don't fix things and ignore our need for help, SWTOR is going to go down quickly Sure add some new content before our free month is over because all you want us to do is resubscribe quickly so we can try it out and then you get more money and we see that our demands were ignored once again.

Okay...that sounds like what Bioware would say... Jeez Bioware...huge fan, but not anymore after all this crap going on. First you don't fix our FPS issue, bugs, etc, patches are just stupid so far with nothing fixed and now this? Game isn't OPEN WORLD, and NOW BIOWARE HAS JUST PROVED IT.

I'm saying why didn't the beta testers catch these problems? Not feeling like an MMO Move to point A to point B FPS issues Didn't bioware say the beta testers all loved it and didn't want to return to their MMOs after playing SWTOR?

Honestly this game has so many problems. Its a great game if it wasn't pay to play because it just doesn't feel like an MMO. Who were your beta testers years ago? Is it just that Bioware didn't listen to their beta testers or the fact the testers never played an MMO before. Honestly If I was a beta tester, I would get Bioware to correct most of the mistakes made. And don't even bother coming in here and start shooting up my opinion because you know for a fact that your thinking the same thing and your getting sick of defending Bioware and SWTOR.
