Mevan
Pretty ****ed up if intended. New players will never be able to get the specialists to rank 20 before they hit the new cap.
IoNonSoEVero
This is not good. It's not inconceivable at all that newer players might hit 75 before they even get to KOTFE and know what they need the crates/heroic grind for, so they'll miss out on getting the specialists to a high influence level or getting their buffs in the Star Fortress mission (which also might mean they can't get the SF companions). Estelindis
This comes as an unpleasant surprise. I hope it's a mistake.
Estelindis
Still no crates from heroics. Is this intended? If so, how will players raise their alliance reputation from 6.0 onwards?
AW_Solo
I was going to post on this myself. As others have said if it is intentional that heroics at level 75 lose the alliance crates, that is a bad idea. As easy as it is to max level, especially a 5 level increase, it is conceivable someone can hit level 75 while still playing knights of the <fill in the blank>. That means a hard stop on specialists' reputation. I also believe that if renown crates are the direct replacement for command crates as has been advertised, they should still contain cosmetic armor drops. cibacrome
Renown crates are not intended as a direct replacement for command crates. They are a low priority adjunct to gearing. According to devs (dunno if it was stream or cantina) there will be vendors selling most cosmetics currently available via drops. I agree it's a shame the loot tables don't include things other than (mostly bad!) gear. Give us reknown boosters and companion gifts at least, plus chance for those absurdly hard to get legendary crafting mats.
TerraStomper
To test, I ran 3 of the Balmorra heroics. They all granted alliance crates on completion. Perhaps some heroics are missing crate rewards? If so, which ones? Edit: I should have been more thorough. Balmorra heroics are not rewarding alliance crates on Imperial Side. BigDRC
I was running the alderan ones and got no crates - the other thing of course if you dont get them is you cant get influence with the star fortress companions... (which is why i was doing alderan)

If so, which ones? Coruscant and belsavis are missing their locked Alliance Supply Crates. That’s all I’ve tested so far.
ZeridanShear
Fairly certain it's just because loot hasn't been implemented game-wide. I had asked something similar, and it looks like the 'World' testing we're supposed to be doing is just for balance, not loot.
Nevaeh-Heaven
please tell me this is a bug... currently these are a great reason to run heroics. please dont take these away in 6.0 Probably not a bug. Yes disappointed as well. The legacy gear, mounts & pets will be available from fleet venders.

Balmorra heroics are not rewarding alliance crates on Imperial Side. On imp side, alliance supply crates are missing from Balmorra and Taris, Taris impside being at the equivalent story plot point as Balmorra for pubs. I also tried Balmorra, "Shifting Priorities" mission pubside and did not get any crates, nor did Taris Fallen Stars or the Agent Mynock mission on Belsavis. I think your anger over biochem consumables has clouded your mind, Terra EDIT: I should clarify that they are missing from the mission reward box in your mission log, or on the terminal, AND they are not magically showing up as rewards when you complete the mission. Since they have not shown up as rewards for any mission I've attempted on either side, and they weren't indicated as rewards in the log or the terminal, I'm going to assume that they are gone from EVERY planetary heroic, since they dont show up as rewards for ANY on the terminal, even though I didn't test every heroic. Though biochem consumables are pretty anger-provoking, it's also possible that Terra ran the mission on a character who wasn't L75 yet. At least on Republic Voss, a L70 character gets crates from heroics and a L75 character doesn't.

I only maxed out influence for all four Alliance Specialists on one character, although a couple have Hylo Visz at 20 for her speeder. Regardless, its not like the Specialists won't need their rank raised. I'll also point out that for every imp character, regardless of loyalist or saboteur, they're losing Aygo and transitioning to Commodore Pardax, and how that will impact doing Star Fortresses or getting the Roche vehicle associated with his influence grind is unclear. hooty
For specialist influence what about C2-N2's recurring mission? I just did that and it still gives influence for all specialists. As long as it's still a daily or otherwise repeatable ....
