  1. Ahh, so it is intended. I didn't fully read the notes before. That players who have no interest in these items will have their inventory constantly clogged up with them and will have to destroy them one at a time. Brilliant.
  2. In an effort to be less sarcastic and/or flippant I will skip my first instinct and go with the idea that it's supposed to be part of fixing the economy. Perhaps it's just a mistake. If it's intended, it just creates an unnecessary annoyance.
  3. We are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of people claiming SWTOR is "dead";)
  4. Dear Dev Team, queues pop fast now, even if many of those players don't try very hard, and IMO keeping good queue times should be top priority. I can accept having some throwers in the matches FAR easier than I can accept long queue times. This is a casual game, not a hardcore game. Please don't pretend otherwise.
  5. I'll admit right off the bat I haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this has been covered; SWTOR is a money making business, with a variety of customers who enjoy a variety of products (different types of content). If the new systems of 7.0 are designed to serve a small subset of customers over and above the rest, is that good business? The old saying is "give the customers what they want" for a reason. Telling a customer they don't need something, or worse yet that they don't deserve something, that is a mistake. Letting a small set of customers dictate what you sell to the rest of the customers is a MISTAKE.
  6. I'd rather have a title, which should be the least work required, and the best chance of being something I'd actually use.
  7. Deception Assassin - running Onderon daily/weekly missions. Yes it feels like an assassin to me (so far). In the content I played it feels very much like my similar toons on live (where I mostly play solo these days, with some light PvP and group content when the mood strikes me or LARGE conquest points are to be had). Actually this played smoother than live for me with the slightly smaller "rotation". Of course the content I played is not challenging at all so I can't say anything about performance in any stress situations. I picked the following from the tree, thinking mostly of solo play and not trying to maximize the toon for anything specific; 15; Penetrating 20; Maul spike 30; Reckless 35; Overcharge 50; Formless 60; Lambaste 70; Shroud 80; Avoidance
  8. If I actually use the turret I get mowed down like the turret is made of tissue paper, but if I fight the mobs on the ground I beat them easily. Interesting design. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and conclude that this is not working as intended. Same old bug back again or never fixed in the first place? I could swear that I read in some patch notes a long ways back that this was supposed to be fixed. Like the Pirate event turret mission and walker missions in chapters had the same/similar problem and were supposed to be fixed.
  9. Reporting people for throwing snowballs? And people wonder why reports of actual problems don't get addressed?
  10. 47 > 51 > 55. Mathematics be damned.
  11. An off the rails thread about on the rails space missions. Classico! P.S. Any bets on whether OP will be heard from again?
  12. The vast majority of heroics are still very easy to solo. Are we really suggesting that it's a problem that a small handful of them are not? Are we going to request that heroics intended to be played with 4 players should be soloable by inexperienced players with influence 1 Treek*. * Treek was once a superstar, now she is sadly about the worst sidekick in the game.
  13. fix the existing events before making new ones. Yes i am yelling on purpose. ^^ that was typed in all caps but apparently the the forum system auto "corrected" it to be lower case
  14. Ping isn't everything;) I've had good ping all this week, but Ilum has still become "nightmare" content because of the ludicrous lag.
  15. Why were knock backs & stuns etc added to so many mobs? Imagine how fast you'd go through the content without them. That content used to be harder so it would take more time, but now it's dumbed down so they have to do something to make it last more than a few seconds.
  16. Another green crystal for the CM. Wonder what the price will be?
  17. Why do you need new grenades? I think it's been stated before that the designers don't see a need for new grenades at every level.
  18. Nothing to worry about here. If the new one is good play it and enjoy it, otherwise ignore it. No impact on the future of SWTOR or memory of KOTOR and TSL.
  19. It's hard to know how many points a toon has earned toward the guild reward in some situations. Points earned outside the guild won't count. Points earned before the invasion is set won't count (in some cases or maybe all cases?). Since I became aware of these "rules" I have not missed a guild reward on any toon that I thought should get it.
  20. It is shameful that this is still broken. Imps can do the patrol every single day. Pubs can't. Inconceivable that the event ran AGAIN with this still broken. When something makes the game play different for one faction over the other the bug should get higher priority than this. Of course they could have thought ahead and made 7 dailies so there would be a margin for error, but nope.
  21. The disappearing balloon trick has been a feature since launch. What's life without a little risk?
  22. The usefulness of gear from TH lockboxes doesn't last long, it caps quickly at a level way below max. What you get from de-conning is peanuts. Only way I can see that as a good method is if you have a big bunch of alts and they all do TH. You will spend more more time logging in+out of toons to run crew missions than playing content. Very easy to have a negative cash flow doing that. I'd rather be playing than spending all my time launching crew missions. For me I found it much better to gear up via conquest boxes and renown boxes. If you have alts move the gear around so whatever toon you're playing is always in the highest rating gear you own (throughout your whole legacy). Always go to the vendor and get an upgrade piece as soon as you get 325-350 frags. Always equip any dropped piece you get that's an iRating upgrade even if it's not for your role or has "funny" stats. Always be maximizing the iRating of the toon you are playing. Once you get one complete set of 305-306 gear in your legacy, then start getting individual toons their own set of gear and min-max, go for set pieces etc.
  23. BW, Please please please keep putting back holstering double-bladed sabers into the game. These are a style that many people prefer and asked for repeatedly. The devs delivered, for which they deserve a round of applause. There are already many hip holstered double sabers in the game. Don't listen to people who wish to dictate that their personal preference (hip-holstered) be mandatory for everyone.
  24. 6.0 version is no worse than previous ones. You choose what money to spend, you choose what money to make. Nobody is forcing anyone to spend up all their banked money to rush to top end gear. There are plenty of ways to make good money in the game.
  25. I picked up [Daily] Patrol Onderon again today (after completing it yesterday) and it was already showing 5/6 missions complete as soon as I took it. I then did the Cleaning the Streets mission and the patrol mission completed. Also in [Daily] Cleaning the Streets, the 2nd target (Seema) was under the floor. Fortunately good ole Blizz could target her no problemo and took her down while I sipped my tang.
