It can be a little difficult to get a feel for it while you're being shot at. Fortunately, there's a way you can practice flying around in an environment where you're not under any pressure. Open the hangar and then click the question mark icon at the top right. That takes you to the tutorial level. After you get through the first few prompts, don't capture the satellite (that is, don't get close to it). You can fly around practicing flying instead, which should help you get a feel for the controls. And while this all sounds great, everything in me thinks Bioware will decide to nerf this CXP gain within 30 days. We wouldn't want anyone to actually play GSF right???
