I think you missed the part about how all companions can be any role now. You set them to be either heals, damage, or tank.

You can level Pierce for free too by doing warzones. For some things such as the eternally boring championship you need a melee companion, my personal goal is to have 2 level 50 comps on each toon, 1 melee and 1 ranged (with both for crafting/gathering missions).

I have 63 days remaining, so I might get to see what the new 5.02 RNG looks like, but I certainly won't be paying to grind. Depending on what happens with passes I may or may not keep playing, there are a bunch of other games out there to waste my time on.

I got my first at 41. I have pretty much moved on from the game already. Getting a full set of gear isn't even that important to me, it's just that there is nothing interesting left to do here. I didn't like the nature of the last expansion, but it wasn't as bad as the current one. There is absolutely no way I am going to pay to grind old content.

Maybe I'll keep playing the game, if I get to keep my passes!

Yes, with the DvL bonus it's 1219 for winning with 8+ medals. It's basic math.

It's a lot easier to get your 8 medals in a Domination match than a Team Deathmatch.

Let's just be extremely generous here and say it ONLY takes 3 months to gear a toon. Is that a cause for celebration? ONLY takes 1 year to gear 4 toons? Bring out the champagne!

I haven't hit 70 yet so I can't report on how much GSF is giving. Sounds like there is going to be an influx of CXP grinders hitting both queues though. I might finally be able to get my 15 kill cheevo. And then have it deleted by biower lol.

I am aware of the reason provided by Eric, but as I'm sure you'll agree it makes absolutely no sense. Hence, I read between the lines.
