If I'd make a wild guess, I would say someone tried to fix the despawn for certain Heroics (Imperial Alderaan's Shock Doctrine being a prime example) but went a bit/unexpectedly overboard with it. And one more thing: when doing the Imperial Heroic [supply Lines] on Tatooine, I noticed that not all kills now count towards objectives (there's a main "Kill 8 mobs" and bonus "Kill 6 mobs") - it seems to be completely 50/50 now if they'll count or not, regardless of the mob name, type etc. Please, reconsider these ninja/halfbaked fixes. I'm sure there's a good intention behind them, but in most cases there's a much better solution - particularly lowering the amount of objectives needed, which will both remove the issues for which these fixes were likely introduced, and also lowers the chance that multiple players doing the same mission will have to wait for respawns. Those were mostly inactive and gray (either due to the bug or due to the fact than no one had looted them). Same had happened on Balmorra and Ord-Mantel. Luckily despawning did not seem to affect the spawning timers. But it does look like a bad one, I mean the videocard has to process them all at once. JediJRB Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) The despawn bug is causing huge issues. Just came from Balmorra...bodies are piled up by the hundreds. The video cannot process which is causing terrible lag. Stand still for a minute, then *boom* you're surrounded by dead bodies. Then, all at once your comp is half dead and enemies appear out of nowhere. Based on genchat, everyone is experiencing the same thing. Just short of unplayable....and definitely no fun. Thousands of dead collicoids everywhere and ability delay of 8 or more seconds. Omniferous Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) Yep noticed this on all exterior Heroics on Alderran, Hoth, and Balmorra. None of the bodies are despawning. There are literally hundreds of them there, and the lag is so bad as you run between mob spawns cause all the bodies have to render, then the new mobs that are living load, then other players in the area load. Pretty much unplayable in some spots. Hope you have a hot fix for this and don't leave it to fester over the weekend. (I'm on Jedi Covenant server.)
