  1. Well, if this is going to be a "feature", it would be fair to say it in advance. Had I known that Savage Nexu and Stormcrest Vorn Tiger were like this, I would't have bought them.
  2. It seems that the designer of the latest mid-size animal mounts had a noticeable oversight, forgetting to provide them with a minimum sense of balance. There are two examples of it: Savage Nexu and Stormcrest Vorn Tiger (I do not know if there are more cases). Bothe of them are in a permanent horizontal position, regardless of the slope of the soil on which they rest . This becomes very significant (and ridiculous and grotesque) when you are climbing a mountain using these mounts. This remarkable mistake does not happen, however, with another recent mount, like the big-size Acklay .
  3. Well, another subscriber and founder leaving tomorrow. Enough is enough. I will miss the game, at least as it was in 2012.
  4. Communication. Communication. Communication. You, EA/BW, never understood this, and will never do. Only you, EA/BW are capable of transforming a simple subscriber reward (which, as useless as it is, it's still a good thing) in such an underwhelming disappointment with your lack of common sense. Who else would provoke an overhype like you did, with such bombastic sentences in twitter? Is there no one left at EA/BW with the minimun mental ability to realize that: 1) We have already 30 companions at our disposal, and we hardly will use more than one, because all of them have the same abilities, and they require a lot of money/time to get max influence. 2) One of the 30 available companions is HK-51, that is, HK-55 in different color. 3) A "new" companion will be the 31st in the list. But beyond that, the people who like HK-55 like HK-51 as well, and most of them (if not all), already have HK-51 as an available comp. Offering HK-55 is like a bad joke. Why not then a second Treek, or a second Lana, or a second Koth? 4) This game has a strong roleplaying aspect, like many other mmos. We play the characters we like, sith or rep, and we are somehow tied to the toon's personality. Do you really think that playing a toon that is not ours, that is the same for everyone else, and that is only available for 20 minutes in a chapter that adds nothing to the main story is such a great idea? 5) Do you really think that delaying chapter X a month (actually 28 days, since subscribers will be able to access it 2 ridiculous days in advance) can be included among the other "rewards"? Only you, EA/BW are capable of transforming a (very poor) reward into a "hurting" disappointment.
  5. Big mmistake. Don't understimate EAware!!!! Even with the lowest expectations (based on years of continuous, huge disappointments), they are perfectly capable to disappoint us beyond the laws of Newton.
  6. I doubt that a single subscriber (or potential subscriber) will be expecting anything better than a ridiculous recolored coat, a few cc, or an irrelevant early access to na even more irrelevant chapter X
  7. Big announcement for subscribers. Big disappointment for everyone.
  8. Something better than cross-server... I know!!! EAware's beloved subscribers will be able to play "chapter X" two days before of what was originally scheduled !!!!!!!!
  9. I have been thinking of that word "BIG"... Apart from a BIG disappointment, which will happen for sure, could it be a free stronghold for subscribers? Well, strongholds are big.
  10. Whatever the announcement is, it will greatly disappoint subscribers. Or actually not, since we are already expectiing the worst. "Better than cross-server"
  11. it will be something as ridiculous as subscribers being able to start playing Chapter X 2 or 3 days before what was originally scheduled.
  12. Please, read well what I said before posting such a condescendent and paternalist speech. I am founder, with 10 level 65 toons, regularly doing HM content, including ops and FP. I know how to play my classes, and probably better than you. Nothing of this changes the fact that tactical FP are harder than HM FP, unless you get a grp with experienced tank and experienced healer, which won't happen 99% of the times.
  13. The weird thing based on my own experience is that SM OPS are similar in difficulty to HM FP, and HM FP are easier than Tactical FP. Tactical FP are way too hard for a normal group, and impossible if you don't have a experienced tank and healer in the group. HM FP are ok as they are, although the trash in Red Reaper is ridiculously OP.
  14. They would be able to do the same they do now, but without bothering legit PVP players.
  15. The ones being really bothered with this are not the comp recruiters, but the actual PVP-players that want to play PVP without the interference of PVE'rs with no idea of PVP and no gear at all to stay alive more than 5 seconds. The solution is simple as hell: Make a special instance of warzones (or even just of one of the warzones) por Pierce / M1-X4 recruiters only.
  16. And after so many thousands of posts with the same question, we are still waiting for a serious, non-evasive, answer to it. Your best answers is really "#facepalm"? Why do you refuse to: 1) Play without companion? Maybe because it is part of the core game and you don't want to miss it? 2) Play with a companion in passive mode? Maybe because you want an active companion instead of a pet? 3) Play with a companion with some of the most powerful abilities toggled off? Maybe because that would make things difficult for you (as difficult as you are demanding them to be), but NOT FOR OTHER PLAYERS?
  17. Another of those totalitarists that think that their fun is the fun of everyone, and there is only a way to play the game. Although what you say is completely exaggerated, so many people will thank you for you good wishes. And, of course, they will enjoy it.
  18. Pro-Nerfers! Stop it! Which one is the valid demand, and which one the trolling attempt? If you are not able to play the game the way you like, it's not our problem, or the devs' problem. It's yours. What you consider easy, may be, and is, too difficult for many other players. You have the tools to make it way more difficult. So difficult that most of the players wouldn't be able to play it. So use them or quit. Don´t ask the devs to make the game more difficult (or tedious) for everyone, just because you want to do nothing with the tools at your disposal.
  19. A nerf supporter (NS) and me talking before 4.02 NS: Things are too easy. I want them more difficult. I demand a nerf. Me: Ok, you can play without companion. NS: No, companions are part of the core game, I want to play with companions. Me: Ok, you can play with a companion in passive mode. NS: No, if I play a companion, I want it to make things, not just walk. Me: Ok, you can play with a companion, toggling some of the most powerful abilities to off mode, therefore nerfing your own companion to the point you feel more comfortable in terms of difficulty. A self-nerf as strong or as week as you want. NS: No, I don't want to toggle abilities off. Instead of that, I demand a nerf. Conclussion #1: NS doesn't want a nerf for himself. He doesn't want to have a “tougher” experience when playing with a companion, because he already could do that before the nerf. He was asking for a nerf for everyone. According to most of the nerf supporters, nothing has changed in terms of difficulty after the nerf. If that is true, then why are you happy now with the nerf? There are two things that have changed: 1) Grinding tasks consume more time now. Way more in some areas/planets. That doesn’t make them more challenging, but way more boring. And more boring for everyone, including nerf supporters. This cannot be then the primary motivation to support the nerf, unless they are grind fanatics and want everyone else to be grind fanatics too. 2) After the nerf almost nobody but pro players in high end gear can now get the “one for all” achievement. Ridiculous and unbelievable, but I don’t see any other reason explaining the happiness of the nerf supporters with 4.02.
  20. Not enough people, sadly. Anyway, my post was not adressed to them. It was implicit that it was adressed to "ingenuous players".
  21. Nerf was 75% for a rank 1 influence companion. Numbers are numbers. Closer to 60% at influence rank 50. From 16k heals to 3,8 heals. And now you are saying that a 10% 380 more healing for a total of 4.1k is enough??? Once again: it is not a matter of "doability". It's a matter of fun. The longer the time you spend grinding heroics, the less fun you have. Whoever needs a challenge when doing heroics or star fortresses alone, do it without companions, or naked, if you feel better like that,
  22. Dev's trick for ingenuous players: Planned nerf = 50% STAGE 1: Nerf 75%. Wait for riots. STAGE 2: say that they have listened to players and promise buffs STAGE 3: Buff 75% ************** Pre 4.02: 100 ************** - 75% nerf: 25 (100 - 0.75*100) ************** + 75% reverse nerf : 44 (25 + 0.75*25) Overall, 56% nerf And most of the ppl so happy because they think they have won forcing devs to reverse the nerf.
  23. 1) You didn't play 4.0, or you are trolling. The performance of the well geared companions pre 4.0 was far better than it is now. 2) And even if that were true, I insist: what was the problem with the OP companions for you? You could simply decid to not use them, or use them in passive mode, or toggle off some of the OP abbilities to have your own, custom nerf.
