  1. Okay... yeah... found the image. Not really a good match for a fighter like the Handmaiden: https://i.redd.it/hjhv5qyhvra71.png I'm glad they got rid of that.
  2. Ah. That makes sense. Someone must have been thinking about the wrong kind of handmaiden when they made that first sample image. Thanks for clearing it up.
  3. Hm. Sounds plausible. If so, I wish they had included the word "clipping" in the patch notes. I can't really puzzle out what they meant by her "status as a warrior." Are warriors well known for not having their butts hanging out of their skirts? Thanks for the response.
  4. The patch notes from today said: "Updated the visual of the Last Handmaiden’s Armor Set to reflect the Last Handmaiden’s status as a warrior." What was the update? I don't notice any difference. Does anyone have before/after images?
  5. I've been playing my Sage a lot recently and I've realized that a lot of the powers seem to be windy/gusty visual effects... I see that the lightning tuning works fabulously for Sorcerers, so how about a little cloud whirl or windy effect weapon tuning to make Sages happy? :-)
  6. That's okay. I usually have a pretty good headcanon going to fill in the information gaps and inconsistencies.
  7. I may have to go back and play through as a Warrior and Knight again, as I barely remember any of this. This might partly be because I dislike playing melee characters and those are the two classes with no real ranged combat options, so I likely rushed through them. Thanks for the refresher.
  8. No? Hm. Maybe I misunderstood some of it. Vitiate supposedly became a bodiless entity thanks to his battle with Revan... and that's the entity Revan claims he is keeping in check (or at least mellowing out) when he gets freed from Maelstrom. I kind of imagined that Revan's influence was what made Vitiate/Valkorion settle down and raise a family on Zakuul. Maybe I'm just projecting ideas, though. Thanks for the guide. This is exactly what I was looking for.
  9. I just got done completing KOTOR again (first time in over a decade) and KOTOR II (second time ever, first time with the restored content). Now I’m looking to go through all the content in SWTOR related to Revan, the Exile, and their companions. I’ve already completed SWTOR’s stories (some of them many times over) but I’d like to see it all again with KOTOR I and II fresh in my mind. Does anyone have a guide they can link me to with the KOTOR-related content in SWTOR and the order to complete it in for the rough chronological order? I remember there are a few flashpoints, the HK quest, the Shadow of Revan, and maybe Fallen Empire since Thanks for the help.
  10. Ah! I see. Thanks for the quick identification!
  11. I came across this photo online, but I don't recognize the saber. Can anyone identify it? http://jaffaresistance.net/swtor/screenshots/Ace-Lightsaber.png I don't recall seeing that "hilt" on a saber before... maybe it was in a cartel pack and I missed it because I don't pay that close attention to the weapons in packs? Or is it photoshopped on or something? Thanks for the assistance.

  14. I agree with all the people who have asked for a mount where your active companion is visible too. A sidecar version would probably be easiest, since you've already got the (non-companion) sidecar built. Even cooler would be a speeder bike where your companion can ride behind you (like Luke and Leia do in Return of the Jedi) or a landspeeder where you sit side-by-side, something like Luke's X-34. You could probably easily adapt some existing mounts for this purpose. It's always been the case that I feel like I don't see my companions a lot of the time as I speed from place to place exploring and accomplishing quests. It would be much cooler to me if companions had more "screen time," and a mount would be a cool way to do that.
  15. Sharing the love. http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/agqbx
  16. Here's my original post for reference. It goes into a bit more detail about the Covert Hood thing: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=7538369#post7538369
  17. I am wholly in favor of this item. I made the exact same suggestion over on the Hood Toggle thread. If we can't have the hood toggle (and the staff has said they're not working on it), then at the very least we would like something that anyone can wear which is both invisible and drops the hood. It would take literally NO additional design work, and it would be absurdly easy to create. People would be buying these things left and right.
  18. I am wholly in favor of this. I posted a similar idea over on the other Hood Toggle thread. It might not be something that makes everyone happy, but it's better than nothing at all. Since they said they're not actively working on the hood toggle, I think this is about the best we can expect for now. It has the benefit of being something that will take, literally, zero design work from the artists. How do we get a dev to take a look at this idea and see if we can get this item?
  19. I understand. The problem is, though, that including a toggle is something they will need to, at the very least, add some text and a radio button to a menu somewhere and, in a worst-case scenario, add a whole bunch of programming that lets the radio button control the "race" of the character without changing any other aspects of race. Therefore, I think our requests to the devs should be that they make, in order of preference: Hood toggle > Twilek hack > covert headgear They already said they're not working on the hood toggle. Since we can't have that for now, let's ask that they add the Twilek hack or, if that's too much/too involved to do right now, the covert headgear that drops the hood. I certainly agree that the Twilek hack is superior to the covert head, but if they're not willing to give us the hack (or not able to do so yet), perhaps they can give us the covert headgear to tide us over. Something is better than nothing.
  20. This was my exact idea on the previous page. :-) Now that we have some support for it, how do we get this idea in front of the devs and get a response from them about it? Even if that happens, it's still better than nothing at all, I'd say. Most of your in-game time is spent outside of conversations. Certainly we want to still keep asking for the "full" hood toggle, but it's better to have something rather than nothing.
  21. I'm aware that it wouldn't be enough for people to be satisfied, but wouldn't it be better to have that /for now/ than to not have anything at all until they finally get the full toggle in place (assuming they ever get around to it)?
  22. So... I'm not sure if anyone suggested this idea or not (just skimmed the posts here), but how about you create an item to tide us over until you DO put the toggle on the development schedule: Covert Hood Undoing Deerstalker (Feel free to change the name): This item is just like all the other "covert" items that are basically invisible armor. And just like a lot of hats/helmets out there, when you put it on your head the hood on your chest armor will drop/vanish. Want to see the hood reappear? Just toggle the "hide headslot" on your character sheet (which is already coded in the system and thus will take no added effort). I realize it's not as good as a hood toggle. But there are a lot of people out there who would rather have no headgear at all than to have a hood. And it would take absolutely no design effort at all. Just take an item that already drops the hood (like most fancy hats), remove the visual part (like you did for the other covert items) and change the name. I guarantee this item will bring much happiness to many (though clearly not all) people. And please do keep the hood toggle on your radar, as it's one of those quality-of-life things that makes players stick around longer :-)
  23. I would absolutely love to have a speeder where you sit in the driver's seat and your active companion sits in a sidecar. They even have a model already (droid sidecar), they'd just have to swap things around a bit. If that's too complex to pull off, at least give us a droid sidecar with our ship droid in the pilot's seat instead of some random droid.
