WidlYboy
I would like to start this thread, to know, which crew skills will you guys pick up for your commando?? I will probably go with Scavenging, Armstech and Investigation as in my Beta Testing What about you guys? What do you think?
kreliavan
most likely cybertech, scavenging, and slicing and then when I have enough money (relatively) I'll switch slicing to underworld trading Edited December 13, 2011 by kreliavan
TheRogueShadow
In the beta I used Scavaging as my main source of raw materials, Armormech to increase my endurance and other traits and Diplomacy (light side only) for gifts for my companions so I could gain more approval. But after careful consideration I've decided maybe Armstech, instead of Armormech, would be better for my Commando, not sure though. And I might ditch Diplomacy when I have aquired enough approval from my companions and switch it for Slicing.
Groundsy
In beta I did armortech up to 400 on my lvl 50 trooper. I was very happy with it as it allowed me to deck out my companions very well as I progressed. (and myself!)
Ronamo
My plans are for BioanalysisBiochemDiplomacy The reusable medpacks and stim production should be worth it for me. I plan to pick up the other crafting skills (and their related gathering and mission skills) on other characters. WidlYboy
most likely cybertech, scavenging, and slicing and then when I have enough money (relatively) I'll switch slicing to underworld trading This is really not a bad idea, cybertech...never would have thought of that! thx
Eurotrash
Armormech, scavenging, and underworld trading. I like being able to create all my armor.
Introspective
Biochem/Bioanalysis/Diplomacy. See that big dude with the cannon, jacked up on stims and looking like he hasn't slept since childhood? He's your healer!
Areka
Armormech, scavenging, and underworld trading. I like being able to create all my armor. This. Also hoping for one day being able to craft some Oranges? That was possible, right?
hadoken
Armormech, scavenging, and underworld trading. I like being able to create all my armor. I'll be doing this as well, additionally because underworld gets access to all the extra unique outfit schematics so it will be profitable/popular. WDampier
I'm in a guild with friends from other MMO's which allows us to set up trees for production. Each member either makes items, or flat gathers for materials - good for anyone in a guild. As a healer i need to be able to stay alive to keep you up. I chose: ArmormechScavengingUnderworld Player made gear typically has higher survive-ability rating than quested gear. With enough materials from myself and guild mates i can keep up skill level with questing level. Given PVP sets are the best for survive-ability, I make use of a good mix of PVP weapons and crafted armor.
hadoken
Given PVP sets are the best for survive-ability, I make use of a good mix of PVP weapons and crafted armor. That's a good point, is expertise at all on mods yet in the game? I know it wasn't in beta, which was a pretty big turnoff (forcing you to use pvp sets to pvp well). WidlYboy
Well my thread is growing good You guys helping me a lot But i would rather use Armstech, because i would really like to make my own cannons (puprle, yellow and others )

JLapp
I've been working the biochem ones. Up to level 60 or so on the crafting with bioanalysis at 90 or so. Got schematic for a reusable medpac but my worthless companions can't get a damn alien blood sample!
Faolon
This. Also hoping for one day being able to craft some Oranges? That was possible, right? Yes, but you'll need to get lucky and find the schematics for them.
WidlYboy
Yes, but you'll need to get lucky and find the schematics for them. And for the schematics i need more time than luck )
ZenSolo
I'm doing Archeology, Slicing, and Diplomacy right now. I have many guild members into crafting, of which I have little interest so its easier to just give them stuff or sell what I find so I can roll deep in credits. Diplomacy for companion gifts and lightside points for now.
Macfergusson
See that big dude with the cannon, jacked up on stims and looking like he hasn't slept since childhood? He's your healer! LOL... This needs to be added to my sig.
