During 9 months there was almost nothing new added, except NEW OPERATION DIFFICULTY ( yaaay We are so freaking happy but 99% of the players will not even try to do NiM version of the OPS). There is no new content nothing to do and PVP is full of noobs, because there is bad matchmaking system without gear check. 3 months of waiting to 2.8 and we got casino update ( that was soo hard to do that i am suprised you did it in only 3 months!) oh ofcourse it was easy you just need to place casino machines on ready built scrap of map. 3 months for nothing. The game is almost dead after releasing Dread Palace because there is nothing to do here! You add no ops at all no usefull flashpoints - totally nothing! How is this supposed to make me a subscriber? You can not activate more event, but only Bounty ( its soo booooring and i can do 1 quest per day). Please tell me why you can't do something with this game? I am big star wars fan and i really enjoyed this game... but i won't spend my money to help in expanding the game if you are lazy programmers. To be honest my current sub was bought only 'cause of the Double XP event. As a subscriber I expect any kind of events more often than once or twice a year. Same goes with new Operations or Flashpoints. There's nothing new for like 6 or 7 months. As Konrad said, last time there has been added something new - NiM DP! WOOOOAH, I'M GONNA SH*T MY PANTS FROM EXCITEMENT! Except for the fact that noone has been able to complete it yet and it's just a really minor thing. I really enjoyed the game for like 3-4 months after Makeb, and like 3-4 months after the DF&DP. But since nothing is happening I can't enjoy it anymore. It just gets boring, and if the game gets boring I don't play. And I don't pay. That's how it works. And that's why I ask you, developers, please, come up with something totally new, unexpected. Pekish Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) and you want to know the fun part.... i went around i played SWTOR at release for 1.5y then i moved to The Secret World (1.5 year) I tried GW2 (1 month) and I tried WS (1 month) and overall SWTOR had a mediocre PVE but a decent (even if old style) PVP probably PVP is better in The secret world per se but mechanics and warzone are CRAP there and funcom has no clue they set up amazing pvp like AOC to then **** it up each next step! Warzone here are much better here (who doesnt love/hate hutball) and even if the combat system feel dated it's still fun. We talk about unbalanced class here it make me smile.... try WS people is only playing 2 class out of 6: warrior and SS all the rest is so far behind that nobody play them anymore (but for real not like here we all say this is OP then i play match 10-54 and i see ALL classes in WS i play 10-49 i see only 2 classes) I went around i saw many other MMO and came back here and i can tell you PVE is not the reason this game will survive. I know i know pvp servers are emptier then pve but not because people doesn't like pvp but because usually pro pvper are jerk that tend to push away other players, with their mentality and attitude. (some doesn't do it with bad intention they just like to win and min/max the **** out of a game that is suppose to be fun not a job!) They have the chance to save this game if they focus on friendly pvp create noob league making it more friendly for beginners take pver by hand into pvp make it a "easy pvp" maybe in specific areas or with specific warzone (call it carebear if you like) without having to face jerk pro and their narrow mentality and you will see this game booming. It's never the elite that bring the big bucks! it's the mass. **** pve start the pvp revolution bring pvp where no other MMO attempted to... bring pvp from an elite of egocentric pro to the mass be the WOW of pvp and you will be the next big thing (if moba don't get it all first... moba are what MMORPG were suppose to be the next big PVP thing but MMORPG failed and moba raised but they are an half backed solution a true MMORPG with a friendly PVP will still break through most of the people) You think that everybody in Moba is pro not but they feel so because if they sux they just go into a lower bracket and start feel pro... the secret is to balance people. Hybrids and lack of gear checks in solo ranked. Group ranked dead, still pissed at the removal of 8v8 ranked...still no cross server queues.....*sigh* I really do enjoy pvp in this game, but there are just so many negatives that outweigh any fun I used to have. I think they just need to make them harder to do so the super guilds can't go through them so easy .. They need a raid that is near impossible to beat and put rewards that are just too shiny too pass up and use the psychology of a Pve'er to their advantage we as humans need a carrot on a stick and from what I can tell you guys beat anything they spit out way too fast even if they make flashpoints competitive and beatable they need that one raid you guys cant beat. Til games developers get an internal testing team and stop letting players pre sample fights intended to be tough there will always be quick turnaround to world first defeats of raids. Jiminison Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 We also need atleast one real sand box planet that is huge so on the down times of the game we are doing social activities with random spawns and world pvp zones with environments we can use too our advantages i.e structures with multiple chambers and are skyscraper sized, vegetation that gives a camouflauge buff while you hide in it we can hide in for sneak attacks ,trees we can scale (Endor) and rare mats for super rare end profession goodies. The bigger the planet the more organic the experience and time sink. And add swimming for goodness sake that we can explore fight in etc. And even siege style warfare with walkers and vehicles with cannons. While the OP is in correct in many respects, what you just posted is not. First of all there is no "we" in this there is you and what you want. I personally don't want any sandbox anything because this is not a sandbox. So while your suggestion may be neat, it does not appeal to everyone, certainly not me. I think you are in a thinly veiled way trying to bring SWG into this. Sorry not going to happen. They also didn't worry about give properly gear to classes ( I MEAN why the **** a smuggler should dress like that ? ). We need new contents, at least new event to keep us busy, but we contine to pay for what ? bounty broker **** ? every 4 hours ? This game will die in a half year from now.
