  2. Basically this... I was going to shoot for All-Galaxy on my Gunslinger(still #5 somehow) But i got tired of arena's finally. 4s teams don't organize enough, and as a sniper/slinger i have to go into the Solo Queue being 99.9% sure i'll be focus target so it got old... quick Oh and btw, love those 4 veng teams the Q system seems to generate all the time.. much fun. PS. I canceled subs on both accounts till i see the xPAC update, no point in paying for this game currently.
  3. If they had another DPS put out similar numbers, they likely would of been wiping their team.
  4. "anyone" can do it... Yet 90% of whats left of the PvP population has trouble even breaking 1k DPS... Also, had he left middle, they probably would of lost the fight.. You know seeing as he was the majority of the pressure for his team. Had he lef, his healer would of likely died, andt they would of gotten zone into their spawn. Also look at the SS again, someone is actually at the east node. But like any derpy node guard, all they need to do is press in 4 letters and someone can go rescue them. Splitting nodes isnt always a successful strat, But scrubs tend not to understand that.
  5. The guardian was likely specced vengeance but in tank stance, and pocket guarding a healer.
  6. He referred directly to his DPS in the screenshot (which is far higher then most of you will ever achieve). Nothing more, nothing less. So all of you should just stop with the "DERRR DIDNT WIN DONT MATTER". Majority of you commenting here are the "argh'dred's", Meaning sometimes even the best players cant carry you to a win. 10/10 This thread is full of those people.
  7. It feels slightly stronger in as kiting aspect.. but damage wise its kind down As far as trolling goes.. Its pretty fun to drop plasma on 4/5 people and then rotate IP on to each targets.. lolololol

    Buff Sniper

    Marksmen hard counters every melee class in the game outside of Concealment, and even then its a toss-up. Which is why HM is having success against the double madness comp. Marksmen and Lethality have no place in Solo Ranked. However, if a Sniper understands how to play Engineering efficiently, that Sniper can lay down enough damage, kite the enemy team, and punish any targets that continuously tunnel him.   9. I think EMP discharge should be a heal 2 full.. get to it BW!!! Edit: now that i think about it. it should steal health from the enemies and give it to you.. unlimited range on who it saps health from.. thx!!!

  11. A couple tree specific changes i think snipers could use: 1.) Marksmen needs 100% armor pen ability tied to Burst Volley. 2.) Plasma Probe in addition to its current state, needs to "suck the target" to the center of the probe every second, for 18 seconds. 3.) Weakening blast should refresh your DoTs on the target. Cull should be a "GTAOE" that hits up to 5 targets. /signed

  14. While i agree with you that since they're force user's lots of people play them, everyone now has alts. Madness is increasing exponentially I wouldn't really call madness squishy. Also, i dont think Ranged classes should have higher output then melee. Melee should always be ahead of ranged, but ranged should always have an advantage of being just that. when you combine ranged + utility + higher damage output + 1 button spam, you get madness. BW nerfed arsenal back in the pre 2.0 days to "encourage" rotations. currently madness just has cooldown priorities and lightening spam. you should see healing sorcs come into mix of that. Along with carnage being a little more reliable with its burst. I dont think deception is a good spec, never have. Buti just dont like it i guess? lol

What DcD are you speaking of that scales up depending on number of targets attacking it? This made me LOL, really. Anyone calling madness "fluff damage" has no understanding of how PvP actually works. But please continue calling madness "fluff" damage. I won't disagree that in terms of where the game used to be, its more balanced then its ever been. But we're not looking at an L2P issue. We're looking at a majority of players not wanting madness nerfed because they're enjoying the 4 button faceroll spam. And i'll admit (because i play both madness specs alot) it is kind of fun. I'm hoping he is either trolling, or talking about assinate procs in madess. Otherwise Please, PLEASE tell me you're talking about assassinate .. you should never maul in madness sin
  17. I agree with you completely - but i highly doubt the ranked community will ever get to that point.. and yeah i imagine it sucks when your AC/spec isnt a part of the 4s meta.
  18. thats 2 button madness - i have done much more and probably would of been top dps had i played that game normal. And crying? LOL, im merely pointing out, and agreeing with so many others that the spec needs to be fine tuned. And i understand the concept of healing VS. DPS done. The point that you're missing and continuing to miss is that the class is performing outside of its parameters(due to a PvE buff). And when a spec has gone so FoTM it starts representing 60%+ of the DPS in warzones. Something, somewhere, needs to be changed. I dont have trouble with madness, i just get tired of facing it over. and over. and over. and over. in what way are you referring to not having an issue with them? because equally skilled madness VS any marauder spec, madness wins 100% of the time.
  19. Madness has no where near the burst.. and carnage, or any other spec for that matter, has no where near the sustained. Madness is the highest sustained damage in the game. Paired with the utility a sorcerer has, makes it slightly over-powered, and extremely FoTM. PS - 1200 is kind of on the low end for carnage, dont you think? Edit: that's starting to look more like Annihilation actually - why is your DPS so low in Annihilation?

  21. I'm not cherry picking any SS's, I merely see a gigantic surge in Madness specced players. making it FoTM I also here top madness players even saying its a little over-powered. But instead of me defending my claims. I'd love to hear some claims as to why its not over powered.. Let me read back on this thread to see why its not: 1.) Its the squishiest class in the game: mmmmm Not really... Both concealment and pyro specs offer very little in terms of DcD's. And since they're melee oriented players they eat more damage due to being in the mix. 2.) Sorcerers die to constant focus: as does any class - at least a sorcerer can barrier for 10 seconds, and live 5 seconds after this under barrier protection. 3.) Its all fluff damage and kills nothing: This is just as ill-informed as the 2 reasons above. the class doesn't have huge burst. but it has burst windows where it dumps out more then the average 2k dps it finishes the match with. I'm all for hearing why madness isn't OP, more importantly, why it's not the current FoTM (i'll pay credits if you can prove its not). But so far all i see are people just pointing out negatives of the SS when they cant read between the lines of what the class is doing. If you want to argue that its fine where it is, then point out what needs to be done to bring other classes in line with madness.
  22. do you understand basic DPS vs HPS? if they had 2 healers put out 1.5k hps (guessing an average of casual healers) they still would have been killed. the top 4 alone amount for over 4k DPS. 4k DPS minus 3k HPS = 1k DPS left over. Not factoring in the other DPS. DPS pressure is hard to understand i guess. Also - bantering that "rawr!!! this wouldnt happen if the other team has healers" is a bad argument. PvP has no matchmaking system. and is losing diversity in DPS classes. The heal diversity has been skewed for some time, operatives being the only viable option in terms of high numbers. Madness is the "healing" operative of DPS in the current state of the game. It either needs to be toned down, or other classes brought in line.
  23. i said many times, that they didn't have healers which is why they were farmed. But, and this is a big one. Had they actually had some sort of healing, my dps would of increased into the 1200s (estimating here) as a majority of the time i was chasing for targets before they died. You have me there, my apologies.. The point that i've stated numerous times is the ammount of DPS done by 2 abilities, the 2 abilities most recently changed for madness that WERE NOT needed for PvP. admittingly, PvE may have needed it. I could continue this test in more "suitable" terms where a team doesn't get farmed, but again the numbers would end up being higher. Again to reiterate, i didnt use afflictions, deathfield, crushing darkness, overload, hard stun, lightening strike. ever.. so my dps would of been more in line with the 2 above me in DPS. The point i continue to try in make that sorcerer is slightly out of balance, but mostly FoTM. There is no class diversity, and their needs to be class diversity in warzones. I've made valid points time and time again, and all you do is get angry and post ignorant statements like the above which makes me wonder if you're a troll.. 1.) i did the test to prove a point - a point you're still failing to see. But im starting to think you're an immature teannager who doesn't want to see his spec nerfed (or have other specs brought in line with) 2.) you seem like such an expert, lets here why madness isnt over powered? i havent heard anything yet.. still waiting... 3.) The fact that you think madness cant kill anything "with a brain" shows me you have no idea what you're talking about, and you should probably just go troll elsewhere.
  25. the good ole "LOL REGS" statement. Too bad this game's pvp is entirely centered around reg's now. Maybe we should balance around arenas then? because this games ranked scene is just flourishing. And to get completely technical, because they're the most "powerful" ranged class. that would make them "over-powered" per say. And as i've said in many post's, i'm all for them bringing other ranged spec's in line with madness sorcerer. But that's going to take far more balancing then dialing back the massive PvE buff madness was given.
