I missed last night, but the night before was horrible for me, I think I got 1 win all night out of 11 matches. The night before that I got 6 wins in 7 matches and ran a few FPs with the extra time (try to do as many daily and weekly missions for group finder and warzones as possible given the time I have to play). But I'm absolute sure that the night I got 6/7 wins, someone pub side had a night where they only got 1 or even none. And vice versa for the night that I had 1/11 wins, I'm sure there was someone that just rolled off wins all night long. Random teams are random.

I've been in 20v20 owpvp on Jung Ma after Yavin was released, and from what I see now with the same computer it could easily handle a 16v16 map with little issue since people will be spread out further fighting over objectives than all clustered together in open world death match. I'm getting better FPS overall right now than at any other point in this game's history, even right before I left the game because my server was dead I was getting worse FPS than now. So seems to me like they did some backend improvements that might actually make larger maps possible to run with less impact on performance. I honestly think their issue right now with making a larger map is simply the remaining population left in the game. Is there really enough people left playing PvP that there won't be one side or another that starts disadvantaged? Perhaps the way to ameliorate that would be to make it cross faction and do like GSF does where it'll spawn 8 or 12 per side depending on how many are in the queue.

You don't even have to play solo ranked, just go into regs and throw guard on a healer as a dps, then have fun running back from respawn all game. On my guardian when specced DPS, I can get more protection with taunts and Guardian Leap than I can with guard simply because of how fast guard kills me. And I'm also more effective at peeling for the healer since I have to worry about my hp less and can spend more GCDs attacking than using defensives. And you are right, the only thing they need to do with regs is role matching. It's not complicated, there's no ELO to track or any of that crap, all you do is look at which specs are in the queue and only put equal healers and tanks into a match and backfill with DPS, allowing 1 extra tank or healer into a match on a side for quicker match making if needed. The only issue with doing it is developer time and money, since it likely wouldn't be a simple algorithm to just stick in the current match maker algorithm but something that would require testing to ensure nothing breaks. Simple concepts don't always translate into simple computer programs.

It's not about 'being fair,' it's about monopolistic practices. Time Warner is a fairly large cable company that services the mid-west states where Trump won that are traditionally democratic states. They also own CNN and with the animosity between the current administration and CNN and the repeal of Net Neutrality, Time Warner could throttle connections to conservative media sites in critical battleground states during an election cycle to further their liberal agenda. The only people that are against net neutrality are those that want to control the media and our access to it. If you want free and equal, then you should be for net neutrality. PS. If you are running groups out there then yes you will run into more trinity comps because the match maker jams groups in the queue into warzones first and then backfills with solo queuers. Do you normally group up with your friends? If so that would explain why you see more trinity comps (tanks don't normally solo queue by the way, because it sucks to be a tank in pvp without a healer). Normally I solo queue and most time I am lucky to see 2 healers, most times it's 1 healer or none for either side. For example last night, I rolled off 3 wins in a row on my guardian and then 1 on my commando with solo queuers before I got backfilled into a double premade of RBL and Republica Latina. Obviously won that match but it took me out of the grouping of solos and put me in the grouping of teams. The next match was my only loss of the night, against your team of 4 healers in ACW, not sure how many were grouped up on your side but I know there was a at least a 2 man group on my side and I know how the matchmaker works so there had to be a group on your side at least. After that I got up, took a break and let all the groups get into matches and finished off the night with a Rishi arena for a win, 3 dps and healer on both sides. So solo queue isn't bad if you dodge the premades, and Pub solo queuers are much better objectively than Imp solo queuers even though the Imps do seem to be more aggressive and put up bigger numbers on the scoreboard. It is especially noticeable in cross faction matches where I am praying I got the Imps that know how to play the map more often than I am for Pubs (don't get me wrong, I've seen some really bad Pubs as well). That's why I said if you are solo queuing and getting frustrated with your matches, the best thing you can do is take a short break and let that grouping you are getting matched up with and against change because your experience is likely going to be different.

It's been awhile since I was on Yavin, but there is a sanctuary zone by the ToS entrance because of the Operation. All the operations have a sanctuary area right outside the entrance to zone in, except Toborro's Courtyard since that's the only one I can remember telling people to rush in before they were ganked in their PVE gear.

GW2 has 10 abilities, yet combat there feels fairly clunky to me compared to here. Removing abilities doesn't make combat feel less clunky I am afraid. PS. Tera has the best combat I have ever played as far as both smoothness and complexity, it required you filling the 2 hot bars you had and even then you had to choose to leave off some skills on certain classes like Warriors (the Tera equivalent of Sentinels and Marauders with the ability to evasion tank using your iframes and "immune while executing" attacks).

Regardless of your opinion about ability bloat in SWTOR, Marauders and Sentinels do not suffer that bloat on their DCDs, rather their skill bloat is in their offensive utilities (especially those dealing with the Fury mechanic which no other class has to deal with) and their attack abilities. In other words, the OP is complaining about the wrong thing for Mara/Sent bloat. They actually have the least amount of DCDs of any class in the game so reducing them further is a bit redundant especially when their real problem is on the other end, no?

But Marauders have had no ability bloat on DCDs, they have the same exact DCDs in the same form that they did at launch. All their ability bloat has come on offensive utility skills and attack abilities. Let's call a spade a spade here on what is filling up a marauder's hot bar. They have the same 5 DCDs they've had since launch and it wasn't an issue then with overstuffing a hot bar, you could fit literally everything on 3 bars, including base class skills you didn't even use anymore.

Except all those abilities existed before SWTOR was F2P. Marauders have gained attack abilities since launch, not DCDs.
