2.4+ DPS Leaderboard

Recommended Posts

Noire and I are working on a little something at the moment for ya ;)

Can you please share it with me too guys? I'd appreciate it.

I usually play Vigilance Guardian on Vepres but started DF Scoundrel recently and would like to soak up some inspiration from the best.

Paowee has a blog that I DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who reads this forum regularly. Once Noire and I are finished with it it will be posted there. Here is the link to his website. http://swtorboard.org/.

I don't suppose you could add Threat as a category as in the most threat generated and how. I wish there was a way to show heals as well but that would be more difficult

No. What's the point of having a threat leaderboard when the best way to increase your threat is by stacking the wrong stats?

Not to mention threat would also be a function of how often you can taunt, and how many of those are at greater than melee range. It would basically become a taunt multiplying race.

This too. It would be nice to have a leaderboard but unfortunately there's just no way to fairly measure it against players who stack the right stats.

On the flip side, however, it's a great way to measure against yourself, against previous parses of your own.

I don't think you can honorably mention yourself... :p

Oh just saw the honorable mentions post on the first page. Ooooohh i feel soooo awkward now. LOL

Fortunately I have one of my own.

My gunslinger's basically retired, but I did test on the new dummy a bit when it came out to check if full DF was as competitive as I always thought it was. I'm pretty happy with the damage of the spec. I figured more people would be posting parses of it, but I guess it lost a ton of popularity, so here's a decent one so it doesn't look so neglected.

Why would you retire your slinger?

I couldn't get a lucky parse today without messing up as even this parse didn't have high crits on the right skills. I'm using all 78 gear at this point (outside of 2 armorings) and utilizing the double procs from the Focused Retribution and Serendipitous Assault. If Bioware finally ends up fixing the double procs, I will gladly re-parse.

Falver,I have a few questions.I'm Juggernaut. Why all can use module with armor penetration, but another player is not allowed to assist me with Bloodthirst? Marauder don't have armor penetration's effect. So...Why I can't use his bloodthirst? I don't agree with your rules. With this module marauders and another classes don't have a real damage. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the rules are set up this way because every single person now has access to these armor debuff and HP modules, whereas not everyone has access to Bloodthirst/Inspiration. Marauders may not have any moves that leave an armor debuff on the boss, but they can use the module on the dummy. On the other hand, while you could argue that anyone could get a Marauder/Sentinel aboard their ship to give Bloodthirst/Inspiration, that would be a second player helping you increase your damage, and the point of this thread is to see what your character can do without any outside interference, such as boss movement, boss mechanics, and other raidwide buffs provided by other characters.

Why does it matter? If you are a Marauder you have your own bloodthirst, if not then you don't compete with them anyway...

Also a question about relic exploit. Some relics double proc from healing, is there a rule that specs whose core rotation doesn't require selfhealing can't spec into it?

What I mean is for example Annihilation marauder and Madness sorc/sin can't avoid their selfhealing, but snipers and Carnage/Rage marauders can spec into it even though it's not required (or even optimal in raid environment). The only reason they'd spec into selfhealing is to wittingly exploit a broken relic
