  1. I think I see, where this is headed; people complaining about Bioware cutting expenses by leaving out your character's voice over in alliance content. I too am disappointed by this fact (love everything else), but keep telling them here guys, perhaps they'll rethink this in the next expansion and reinstate it.
  2. Not sure if anyone already mentioned this, but be careful with disabling Windows Aero as it turns off system wide V-sync. For those of you playing the game in Windowed mode (incl. full-windowed), you might see screen tearing after turning this off. So make sure your graphics card management application (if you use such a thing) can handle V-sync instead.
  3. Sorry seems to be the hardest word... Anyway quite a discovery, very nice.
  4. Of course, this is stupid, it's obvious considering Marauder and Sniper are DPS only classes. I'm guessing it will balance out again soon when Bioware learns of this, at least it should.
  5. Yeah with all those adds that shouldn't be a problem really.
  6. Good thing they nerfed it in my opinion, add phases like on CZ and Draxus were easy mode with this, it was a one button click from 3 people then back on boss, that's not challenging nor fun. We should be using grenades and conal AoE more.
  7. That is one mightily ugly chest piece bro You look like someone from the Roman Empire. Just kidding Nice timing.
  8. If you can believe crit RNG that are one to tens of thousands in odds, which we have had before here, you can believe this too
  9. Agreed, its nothing more, I'll bet we all have these occurrences if we check our logs.
  10. Wow I didn't think the changes would mean this big an increase in DPS for us... Honestly seems a little extreme to me.
  11. Hello Noire. You people did an excellent job on the guide, I have been studying it meticulously the past few days, had to translate the abilities into Republic :-) I am BiS full 72 with 2x61 set bonus and 69/72 set bonus, my surge is 71%. I run full power until now but want to try crit - My only option is to substitute power with crit at a ratio 1:1 ie. 72 mods or enhancements, so if I were to gain 200 crit I would also lose 200 power, do you recommend this? I've tried this and I notice my energy becoming easier to manage but my DPS seems the same or tad lower, could this be because I my relatively low surge compared to full 78 people? Thanks for any advice you might be able to provide me with.
  12. Bloody hell mate @.@ big gratz to you! :-) Someone finally knocked Kishekzun off of his throne hehe :-P
  13. Can you please share it with me too guys? I'd appreciate it. I usually play Vigilance Guardian on Vepres but started DF Scoundrel recently and would like to soak up some inspiration from the best.
  14. I wouldn't go that far, can't be bothered hehe. It's pretty admirable though d('.')b
  15. You should aim to have a Relic of Serendipitous Assault and a Relic of Boundless Ages, assuming you're actually using it whenever it's off of cool down.
  16. Sorry bro but I want to see you do the 100 parses :-P I'm not saying I don't believe you, I kinda want to as going back to some crit would be nice for a change. However, unless some of the math guys get in here or we get extensive testing of this it doesn't really prove anything considering the nature of this spec.
  17. Not too sure there, seems unlikely to me. I looked at your parses too a few times and they tend to be averaging around the range I mentioned except for the lucky breakers that pop into 3300+ and some 3400+. It's not to start a fight about it, but I sincerely think you guys have a tendency to be too glamorous here in terms of what is sustained DPS for that spec. However, I'm not in 78 so I wouldn't know personally. I think you guys can still do 3500+ eventually though :-) But yes, you are right, it's not the place to discuss this anyway :-)
  18. Yes, this is the wrong place to discuss it. However, here is the best resource for the spec: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=621208 At the moment most DPS Guardians/Juggernauts seem to spec purely in power with no crit rating as the math boys figured out that this gave best value for your buck. Some have begun speccing with a bit of crit rating recently, however you should take this with a grain of salt as they have not provided any convincing arguments or results to prove that crit works your way at high lvs - it's basically very much untested so chose whatever works best for you. In full 78, expect to shoot 3050-3150 on average, the 3300-3400+ parses here are lucky breaks meant for record purpose only so don't expect those numbers easily. Here is a video I made that briefly explains the basics of how to maintain high DPS playing Vigilance/Vengeance: http://youtube.com/watch?v=z0NMFltIuX0
  19. Well unfortunately for you some of the cocky people on this board find that amusing.
