peteed
On Jekk'Jekk Tarr we have a gold spammer already sending PM's who will sell us 10k gold for $8 or powerlevel from 1 to 50 for $375. General chat is laughing at them trying to sell gold in a game where gold doesn't exist >_>
Thoery
i think its funny as hell. I wonder what Bioware has planed to deal with gold farmers.
AriochX
They are banning people who share/advertise urls in chat so the spammers have resorted to PM. You should report them. Edited December 19, 2011 by AriochX

Fabled_One
You can report the spammers and then block them. Unfortunately reporting them as spammers does NOT auto-block them at this time (gotta do it manually). Hopefully EA/Bioware will start banning the gold spammers. Also note just visiting their website will infect your computer with a trojan/malware. So don't even visit their websites, that's how those gold spammers steal accounts to use for spamming. Lutso
Ajunta Pall has an epidemic on it's hands. There is a guy/groups of guys that have like 5 different characters that they switch out periodically, and they stand on the Republic Station ALL DAY spamming those same prices you mentioned. However I don't think they actually refer to "gold". I think it's so pathetic - the game isn't even OUT YET and there's already Chinese guys spamming. We online gamers have come to accept this stuff into the vernacular, but have you ever stopped to think about how totally strange it is? What kind of people do this stuff? Fdzzaigl
10k for 8$? They must be insane. You can make that much in no time, especially if you have slicing But yeah, I'm surprised I didn't see any on Lettow yet.

Jett-Rinn
I say make credits non tradeable to players that aren't level 15 and haven't been on the server for one week That would drastically hamper the gold farmers Edited December 19, 2011 by Jett-Rinn
Attacca
What if reports automatically silence the account of the person being reported? It would significantly increase the effort needed for spammers, and Bioware could smack down any griefer who used it illegitimately.
Glowrod
I saw my first spammer this morning too. Reported them 3 times before I realized it was the same person. After that, I put them on Ignore.

Lord_Thorne
I've run into gold spammers on two different servers in pre-release. See 'em once, report. See a second message, ignore. No problem; at least I didn't get my report mishandled like the guy on that other thread.
Aneurysms
I have already reported 2 now by right clicking and selecting report spam and noticed under my tickets that i had it was in there with a chat log attached to it with the whisper in it also. So once Bioware get around to this tickets for reporting spam they'll be gone real quick. I think I have more faith in Bioware getting rid of credit farmers then Blizzard after seeing whats actually reported

Xerda
I used to use Badboy in WoW and that blocked all gold selling ads in trade and automatically reported them. Why can't they employ this kind of simple approach to block all that rubbish from General and whisper themselves.
