  1. This is good to know. I've been using my Emergency Fleet pass until now - not recommended with it's 16 hour cooldown
  2. That jacket comes in two moddable versions, although the color schemes are different - a Green one and Blue one, if I remember correctly. My advice would be to get one of the moddable jackets and hold onto it, in hopes that they will add a color customization option in the future.
  3. I love that pistol (the big one). What is that? I needz it.
  4. He's better than that ******* Corso... Personally I just hate all the companions, I wish they were not in the game.
  5. Kalasta. Pardon the low-resolution. I will get better pictures up on another computer.
  6. Assuming you are Republic - Starship upgrades can be purchased with fleet commendations in the "Market" wing of the station. It's the middle room down the outside wall...it's the same room that sells the speederbikes. Those are easy to spot through the door. There's a droid and a human behind a counter in the corner of the room.
  7. I've been having issues with this too. I'm at lvl 24 and have only played 5 space missions and can't get any more. I would love to move on, since the missions I have currently give 1 lousy commendation each.
  8. It seems like there are a lot of little issues when it comes to vendors and inventory, as far as making mistakes goes.. I will start compiling a list and maybe make a thread about it...
  9. Wow. I will definitely keep the safety on whilst checking out the comm vendors. good luck getting your stuff back.
  10. I love this game, but I accepted a long time ago that the era and aesthetics are a complete joke. Republic commandos, Death Star gunners, Han Solos, AT-AT's and Stormtroopers do not an authentic Old Republic experience make. Heck one of the avatars for the forums is a copy of Boba Fett? Have you seen that? It's a neo-crusader I guess but wearing the exact same color scheme as Fett, with a cape and everything. Whatever. The "Sith Empire" is a laughing stock as far as I am concerned. Look guys, Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters from thousands of years past! They even make the same exact engine and gun sounds! Woohoo! Seriously. This game is great, but originality is not one of it's strong points. I don't even go on Wookieepedia anymore for fear of what lengths they are going to trying to fit this crap into the timeline. They're probably modifying every article in existence.
  11. Ajunta Pall has an epidemic on it's hands. There is a guy/groups of guys that have like 5 different characters that they switch out periodically, and they stand on the Republic Station ALL DAY spamming those same prices you mentioned. However I don't think they actually refer to "gold". I think it's so pathetic - the game isn't even OUT YET and there's already Chinese guys spamming. We online gamers have come to accept this stuff into the vernacular, but have you ever stopped to think about how totally strange it is? What kind of people do this stuff?
  12. I'm curious about this too, as I have my settings turned to as low as they will all go and still experience absolutely horrendous lag in some areas, almost to the point of being unplayable. Specifics on my machine are not with me atm, but it is a fairly capable computer that has handled some pretty large games. Brownie points for actually reading the thread...
  13. I too am interested in stat migration guides etc. I have a pair of gloves that I simply cannot part with, although I am far outleveling them. On another note, how about a pair of frikking pants that don't fit like a skinsuit? Is that too much to ask?
  14. I can vouch that this mission is a major PITA. I have not beaten it yet, and have tried it probably close to 10 times now. I can manage the mission until the last 15 seconds. Then, like clockwork, a couple of dinky fighters shoot like 4 shots at the shuttle and take away all of it's health within 5 seconds. This has happened every time I've played it. Honestly I'm finding the space stuff to be just positively full of bugs. This is terribly unfortunate because I can't get commendations, and therefore cannot get my pilot suit.
  15. So I am correct in trying to use the holonet device on the bridge, then? Thanks for clarifying...I suspected, and dreaded, that this was a bug. Blast.
  16. What is the issue here? I have tried using the Holoterminal on my ship to no avail, as well as the intercom. Nothing. The Holonet device on the bridge gave me the three initial quests which I have been repeating for 1 commendation over and over. What am I missing? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
  17. My list of annoying things in SWTOR can be counted on one hand. One of these things is the pop-up dialog and display boxes/prompts. For example, player inspection windows, inventory access, character sheet, crew skills, maps, you know, things of that nature. I have not found a way to be able to resize, reposition or otherwise do anything at all to move or enhance these boxes. If there IS a way, please correct me! but I have asked around in game and others have seemed to confirm my problem. Ideally I would love the opportunity to resize the windows and move them to how I liked them. For example, to inspect a character in full-screen. As it is, it's a tiny little box that is off-set to the far left of the screen, and impossible for me to see any detail - and using a large screen, it's a pain when it's over on one side. I don't want to be "one of those guys" who feels the need to compare everything in SWTOR to how it was done in SWG, but as far as the interface/UI customization goes, I think it would benefit to follow that example. In Galaxies you were able to move and resize your displays at whim (think Windows/PC style), and the best part was that these settings STAYED around until you manually moved them again. Galaxies also offered color customization for the interface, which was totally fun. I really am a huge fan of the UI in SWTOR so far, but there is no doubt in my mind that it could stand to be a tad more tweakable. Just a thought!
  18. Or keep it, so that people like me don't have to start new threads asking this same question
  19. See, now that's more like what I wanted to hear. Thanks for your replies, guys. However I should mention that the on my ship is broken (likely, this is the only reason I haven't figured this out already). Whenever I use it, it cuts as if to switch to a cutscene, then abruptly switches me back to normal mode without anything. I assume this is a bug? Thanks again.
  20. Does anyone have any advice for this? I can't realistically fly 300 missions for this...
  21. I've been flying the starter missions (which are actually quite difficult IMO), and these are yielding one measly commendation. I need, like, 300. Am I doing something wrong? Do the commendations come in larger quantities in later missions? This just seems impossible.
  22. I see, it was the Beta thing that was messing me up. I kept hearing guys at that point in time talking about it, and assumed it made it into launch. A shame, that was a feature I would have liked. Oh well, maybe I can borrow a friend's computer or something. Thanks for your replies guys! Thanks for your analysis doctor, but there's other things you can get with them, like clothing and armor. I have a clear idea of what I want.
  23. I need 70 Fleet commendations, but my computer simply cannot handle the space missions well at all, and it's heck trying to lag through a 5 minute mission to make one lousy commendation. I have dozens of Coruscant and Republic commendations however. Can I swap them out somehow? I had heard tell of this being done by rumours... Another question is; can they be bought?
  24. Use the search function, you'll find it. ... Just kidding. Actually, it seems you're right; I can't find the search anywhere. I was under the impression that there used to be a search bar at the top of the page, but it has seemingly dissappeared. Maybe try looking on the home page/forum directory page.
  25. I was ecstatic to find out that my pre-launch hopes were confirmed in the game - the red pilot's spacesuit (see my avatar) that I've been obsessed with is buyable and wearable. However in order to wear it it requires a social rank of tier II or above. I'm wondering, what's the best/fastest/easiest way for me to accumalate the points needed? I've done the Esseles and gathered points from that, however it is a 2+ hour long quest (depending) and I'm not terribly interested in playing it 10 times in a row. Doing small side missions with group members yields me like under 10 points it seems, so almost useless. Any ideas?
