  1. Luckily, my main server is a destination server... so, zero names lost.
  2. No, I will continue to subscribe regardless of when 1.3 is released.
  3. And this is one of the main reasons why I quit SW:G less than a year after launch (shortly after they added land speeders and you finally didn't have to run everywhere anymore).
  4. My least favorite planet would have to be Alderaan. None of the families were actually worthy of my characters' help and were quite annoying, to boot. Bleh.
  5. I started playing MMORPGs in 1999 with AC/EQ. Since then, I've played and/or tested about 20 total. I've always played multiple characters ("multiple mains", not "alts") and have never thought about "endgame" as anything other than another aspect that I can participate in with RL friends/guildmates. I've certainly never rushed to it or thought of it as a main focus of the games.
  6. I do agree about the lore. It never captured me in the MMORPG. However, I participated in a lengthy PnP d20 campaign of WoW that had an awesome storyline to it and really brought the lore to life. Though, it was with the best da** DM that I've ever had the privelege of gaming with.
  7. I've always played multiple MMORPGs, starting way back in 1999 with AC/EQ. And, I'm usually testing another one on the side. I do love variety. The other players I associate with in game (unless I'm at an RP event, this is mostly RL friends/guildmates) aren't the type that talk down about MMORPGs. Though, I will roll my eyes (and bite my tongue) at comments of WoW that I overhear, especially from those who have little experience with anything else and act like it invented the genre. I quit that game less than a year after launch and couldn't care less what it has done since then. I'm really looking forward to TSW releasing soon... will have my perfect trifecta of MMORPGs then. LoTRO (lifetimer since launch) for my Traditional Fantasy. SW:TOR for my Sci-Fi Fantasy. TSW (lifetime bought) for my Modern World. Also, YAY for 3 MMORPGs, only one with a monthly subscription.
  8. My favorite thing added: the ability to mail items between all of my characters, no matter what faction they belong to.
  9. Hardly anyone I knew in DAoC that left did so because of WoW. They (like me) did so because of ToA and the awful things that expansion did to the game and its community.
  10. My Husband and I have been around since pre-launch. I have 2 level 50s and will receive the free month. He hasn't finshed chapter 1 on any of his characters yet and will not have time to do so before the time limit expires. So what? We're NOT complaining. It's only one free month. As long as we're having fun in an MMORPG, we continue to subscribe to it. We're still having fun here. We'll contine to subscribe. /shrugs
  11. My Husband and I have also had accounts since pre-pre-launch. I have 2 50s. My Husband has no 50s yet. So, one account has a credit coming and the other doesn't. We're not bothered by this fact. /shrugs
  12. I care a lot more about story/character development/crafting/RP than "end game". I've had multiple mains in every MMORPG that I've played since the early days of AC/EQ. Here, I have two characters (out of my 8) that are level 50 simply because I became engrossed in their class storylines and wanted to see them through. They "dinged" 50 on the way to accomplish this when I wasn't even looking. I didn't "power" or "space bar" through anything with them, or any of my other characters. Having level 50s does not mean "not caring about story/being a power leveler/have no life" any more than not having level 50s means that someone is "less valuable/has contributed less or has less overall /played time".
  13. Legacy Level 25 My gals are: 2 @ 50 2 @ 40+ 2 @ 20+ 2 @ 10+
  14. 3 Things: The ability to mail items between all of my characters, regardless of faction. and UI Customization and The Legacy Family Tree
  15. Same here (lifetimer since the beginning for LoTRO). And, I'm anxious for The Secret World to launch (lifetime subscription bought there also). It'll be the perfect trio of MMORPGs for me. Traditional Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Modern. Variety is good! And, with that trio, I'll have 3 MMORPGs and only one monthly subscription fee!
  16. My Husband and I have played multiple MMORPGs together since he introduced me to AC back way back in 1999. Here, I have two characters (one Empire/one Republic) that were created exclusively for duoing with characters of his.
