Dubaco Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 I just bought a Supreme Inquisitor's Robe. The best thing about it wasn't that I was finally wearing a "but cape" on my inquisitor. The best thing about it is that the hood doesn't clip! This thing alone would be enough to make me pay 1 million credits for it... Just so you guys know. A game bug made me feel happy today. I farmed the Talz Taskmaster, Talz Veteran and Dootu Mu Bacha on Hoth for a few days until the robe dropped. I think I had somewhere around 220 kills of each mob before I got the robe. On the bright side, I got the Head, Boots & Bracers in the meantime, and roughly 1m creds (including selling all the stuff I didn't want on GTN). I didn't bother with the leggings since I prefer the looks of the imperial trooper pants with the supreme robe. In the end it was the Talz Taskmaster who dropped the robe. Dootu Mu Bacha dropped lots of orange stuff (almost 50% orange drop rate) so my companions got some nice gear as well. All I can say is - if you want to farm the mobs for the drop, be prepared for a long run. Unless you are lucky. After all, random drop is random, as they say. Maybe you get it on the first kill, maybe on your thousandth kill. (edit: Just want to clarify that the robe dropped just 2 days ago (june 13), so it's absolutely confirmed to be available from Hoth after the latest patch.) Went to Hoth to grind for chest, killing Talz War Veteran, Talz Taskmaster, and that Doobu whateverhisname for 45 minutes, then a 2 40s came who were working on Joint Training, so I helped them out, and when we finish and go our separate ways, I go fight the Doobu guy again... fordharrison Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 I finally got my robes yesterday after countless hours of farming the Talz on Hoth. I had heard rumors of it dropping in Foundry so I decided to run through foundry and, they dropped the first time off some champion droid. Can't tell you how good it feels to finally have the item that has eluded my consistent farming, now I just have to make the tough decision as what im going to be wearing along with these robes. My first thought was to wear the robes with the slave girl bottoms and slippers with the battlemaster gloves. But I'm also leaning towards either the supreme legs or the war hero/campaign. Farmed the entirety of the rest of the set in 2-3 days, and gave away most of the pants I found to female char friends of mine, as they had no other options, save for the pilot pants. It's the only robe of it's kind Imp-side, class restricted, that resembles a dark aspect of Lightside. I just hope if/when they come out with a drop-hood option, they don't simply remove the hood completely but pull it down much like the hood-down chest pieces that heavy proficiency can get. I'm sorry it hasn't dropped for you yet, but you just have to take our word for it - it does drop on Hoth. I wish I could prove it to you, but I have no screenshots or anything.
