If your having trouble with same-ish lvl content as you, then I advice a gear check/improvement, same goes for your companion. And just in case this "Alda Librarian Guardian" is using a special attack move, you should interrupt/stun him when he`s trying to channel his move. Be sure to keybind your Interrupt ability somewhere easy to TAP because it helps immensely in both PvE and PvP.

Official Info from Dulfy.net You will "lose" your companions during the new storyline not as soon as you log in after the expansion like some other people fear, it`s hinted that to gain/kill a companion in the expansion that your choices directly influence the outcome of said encounter with your old or potential new companions. Personal rant: I just hope that who we choose is fully touched upon as in I wouldn`t want to be forced to take on every companion in the game just because of the story forcing it on us(because of only 1 outcome option). *cough* Skadge(the level of bad writing on this guy joining you is astonishing) but actually let us customize the squad of companions that we do like (out of a pool of companions ofc) to best go with the theme/mindset of our characters. Choose wisely!

Most ppl say they gather only what`s in their way while doing dailies(the gathering itself being a bonus on top of dailies). But for me I go to Yavin with the mindset of gathering nodes and droids while the actual dailies I vision as a bonus since I`m gonna cover a large portion of the map(seriously the Walkers are walking mats I just can`t hold myself from killing all I come across). I do not PvE(Ops, FP or go do dailies any other place then Yavin because of the mats I`d be missing on the credits from dailies I view as laughable anyway) depending on my mood I`m mostly sitting on the Fleet or running through Yavin while waiting for Warzones to pop. I used to do the same thing when Makeb was endgame, I would sit in the H2 area "The Specialists" if I rmb the name correctly (droid heavy area) in between Wz pop`s and scavenge. Do you sell that stuff in all kinds of levels or just a certain lvl? Quite some time back before the 12xp BS, I used to craft mods/armorings of lvl 9-13 blue versions(the purple were not worth it) aiming for the crowd that made alts and as soon as they reach lvl 10 they want to wear their adaptive gear asap(Don`t we all:rolleyes:) but I dropped it in less then a week because I considered the time my toon was spending on low tier mats, with the small/decent profit AND the fact that I had to craft a dozen of them for each stat keeping my GTN slots occupied when I could`ve had more value-able stuff posted convinced me to drop it. Nowadays with 12XP and the outfit designer i imagine it`s more profitable for each player to equip the look of anything you want while wearing greens,blues non-custom gear atleast in low lvl`s as I do not expect anybody to think buying mods with comms every 4-5 lvl`s in said 12xp to be doable/smart. they could prob make a special instance for the new timeline while keeping the original by choice once u land on said planet, but even so I`m sure they wouldn`t do it to all the planets in-game, most likely only relevant planets to the new storyline.

Yes the bada5s that a simple Force choke would put you out, even funnier the person Choking u wouldn`t even have to be there, all he would have to do is call you on your holo(we see this happen in game with Baras) pray ur crewman pull the plug in time.

No you are not, I thank you for your post I like to see other ppl opinions and debate. I shouldn`t have used the word logic but rather believability for the scenario our characters are put in a common storyline, I was trying to point out both Jedi and Sith classes are built up with so much potential. Ofc a trooper/smuggler/agent/bh can kill your average jedi and sith and prob stand their ground againts a Force to be reckon with(like Bobba surviving Vader twice in the expanded universe) but taking on and defeating ppl of Revan and Vitiates caliber is hard to swallow without a good setup(and non force using classes would require additional, which BW isn`t willing to go for because of extra work/money idk). Take for example Revan`s fight(in SoR) I totally liked those strong allies(Marr/Satele) being there to assist my Hunter, it actually made Revan`s defeat believable, but at the same time when I did it on my Wrath I wished all those ppl were not there/needed.(If BW could make trigger special setups for the non force using classes againts powerhouses like Vitiate that would be downright perfect). It`s like some alien movies where the story presents us these extraterestials that are far beyond our technology, their gonna wipe us all out but they can`t get passed a wooden door.(Signs) As a side note I know a made fun of the non Force classes by giving them a nickname but those are actually the ones I enjoy, I main BH, Bobba Fett is my fav person in the starwars universe but I have to admit he`s death in the movies was unbelievably dumb. Or another example is Batman being my fav hero but I can`t be one of those fanatics that believe Superman would simply just lose to him would out shtloads of pre-planning or setups beforehand. the problem with non-unique stories are the power levels on ppl(or the scenario in which your character is put in), the vanilla stories we`re made specifically for each class and never made me question sanity, I`m sure the smuggler especially taking on Vitiate, Revan doesn`t make anyone question logic. The same story favors Jedi/Sith too much Wrath, Battlemaster, Barsen`thor and a dark council member with immense potential. Or look at it the other way around ur the best Jedi/Sith in ur order praised/feared by everyone yet ur acomplishments can easily be done by a Rambo, Indiana Jones, James Bond or Bobba Fett wannabe With each expansion they gave us less and less, how can your expectations not gradually fall?

now that is impressive, forgive my pessimism but when they keep downgrading from 8 stories to 2(1 per faction) to a single one for everybody my expectations can only go downer and downer

because u`ll be frozen u will look the same as nothing has happened, heck you could also not even do the new story and lvl to 65 just killing mobs no1 is forcing u to break ur own RP by including the games story

If that would be true it would be great, but how can I not be pessimistic when they constantly downgrade the stories?Constantly putting less and less effort; 8 unique stories->2 stories(1 each faction for Makeb)->then 1 story for everybody regardless even of faction+1 mini class specific quest...I just don`t make high hopes so the dissapointment doesnt hit as hard when the expansion comes along
