  2. The problem with Shadowsin is... too many baddie players using such an OPed class. YES it takes a seriously sucky player to try to suck as much as possible to make shadowsin bad, but those guys are seriously not short on supply. Its just too funny when Shadowsin is still asking for buffs (or think they are underpowered). Oh well SWTOR pvp for you, real pvp for real pvpers.
  3. Using the Assassin's logic when it comes to any discussion about concealment operatives... Yea Sin is fine its just that 99% of the Sins/Shadows are terrabad. And the leaderboard really showed that. L2P better newb shadowsins.
  4. The most nerfed is definitely concealment operative. They went from "kill you before you learn how to walk" to the current state, a waste of team slot. Mercs were nerfed 1 time, and a few bug fixes, the rest of it, they got straight up buffs, its just that its not nearly as as good as mara/tankasin/PT and so on. All the chain buffs mercs got simply was not enough (partly because BW/EA also are extremely well-known of their tendency to buff the most powerful/op classes). Since there are a lot of noobie on this forum that have very little idea how the game "evolved" or "degraded", here's some example. When SWTOR was released, most marauders and their mom used to be Annihilation, which is extremely powerful and nearly unkillable, rage and carnage was "about even as other classes". BW buffed Carnage (in attempt to make them as good as Anni) and less and less people using Annihilation (since its harder than both carnage and smash newbs), and shortly after BW revamped "smash monkey tree" on both mara and juggs, and the age of smashtards is created. The point isnt how BW created smashtard spec for newbs to compete, its that Anni was already percived as overpowered which they did NOT nerf while giving them even more options to be OP eg, going monkey newb or roll carnage. BW rarely (if ever) straight up nerf anything (EXCLUDING the chain nerfs they've done to concealment operative), or straight up buffing anything other than some of the already powerful classes. e.g off the top of my head, sorc knockback buffed to instant, but they also nerf its 360 degree to frontal cone, they buffed rocket punch for merc to a root (so they dont unintentionally fill enemy resolve) yet they they nerfed RP's knockback when it should've been a knockback + root.

A lot of typical assassin newbs in here that have little idea about how their class has been playing the game for them, making them mistaken that they have any kind of skill, hence talks louder than even the worst newbs playing a class that at least take some form of skill. Dont be surprised. There's a reason why this game is dying. Log in game and look around you, all BW/EA is doing is coming up with more cash transaction items than focusing on contents or pvp balance. Ever since F2P BW has came out with what... 6 different gamble boxes? like 80 different cash purchase only mount and probably 10 different plasma shpes and 100 different color crystals as well as what 200 different blaster skins and armor models? and 95% of them are cash transaction only items. nuff said.
  6. You dont have to be a sorc healer to healing medal farm. Any sorc/sage can do it, of any spec.
  7. OP healer can be completely shut down 1v1 by a dps if the Op healer is extremely bad. You cannot base class balance around some of the worst skilled healers vs some of the best DPS.
  8. Again even if you are NOT afk. Me and 3 of my buddies just dont like you and report you for afk while you just sit there and defend you will be kicked no matter what, unless you listen to the giant warning in the middle of the screen and attack someone.
  9. A couple people on your team have reported you for AFK. And once the countdown starts due to enough votes only way to disengage the autokick is to go into combat.

  11. Right, sister. I am sure operative pose just as much threat as a marauder or a hybrid powertech. Ask the PvP community and they will tell you just that... oh wait... Only reason swtor is still surviving with all their idiotic "pvp balance (or lack thereof)" is leveling in this game is very fast. "Rerolling" isnt as problematic as other games when the players unfortunately chose a wrong class. Thats why I also have a marauder in partial oberan as well as a powertech and sorc in full conqueror. I quit the game because PvP has became very unchallenging due to some of my classes that I play being too good. Yes I quit the game because I feel my toon was too good. I came back and found out that my marauder is just as good and my PT (switched from pyro to AP hybrid) is also very powerful if not as OP as Pyrotech once was, I decided to give my operative a go. And got him Min/Maxed conqueror with some oberon mix and just to find out that no matter how good you are, your player capability is limited by the class itself. I dont have fun playing my marauder/PT because theres very little challenge in game unless I met other people playing THE SAME CLASSES as I play (not including dps operative and mercs). I dont want to be OP, it earns no respect, yet after extensively playing concealment operative after playing deception sin/mara and PT and sith sorc, I realize how stupid this game's PvP balance is. And it's not going to change anytime soon, there are simply too many stupid people constantly buying their gamble boxes that this game is still alive. Sorry EA, you aint making my dollars tho, good thing you have plenty of blind following brain dead fainbois thats help you keeping this game running. Keep buffing Assassins/Shadows as well as marauders/sentinels, they are so underpowered rightnow. Buff them and you can sell even more cash fluff items too. Do it... GG EA.

Thanks for proving my points kiddo. Go play with your smash monkey thats the only thing you know how to do anyway, and when you are at the level of a 12-yr old wowkid (sorry I dont play wow), then come back and talk to me, hopefully (unlikely tho)you would learned something about mmos then.
  13. Most people in this game really have little idea about balance. Operative dps being automatically viewed as a waste of a spot on the team, while Assassins are complaining about their Maul can "only" crits 8k and they are being buffed. Smash newbs still run rampant. Hybrid PT Tankasin with super burst Actually you cant even blame the players they are just newb and have no idea and dont give a **** about balance. It's the DEVs who made this game completely crap as it is today (and are percived as crap pvp game among mmo community). DEVs really have no idea and probably dont play their own game. "ohh so many complain about smash newb-monkeys" -> "Lets nerf Anni and Carnage" "they say dps operative is really bad"->"I know right, lets buff dps assassins!, oh and buff overload shot just to troll em, and take cover away we are not allowed to have any patch with operative buffs without nerfing something too you know, company policy"
  14. And the best dps + defensive cooldown + the best raid buffs + unbreakable stealth all rolled into one and while you are at it throw in a 4s god mode too: Force User. nuff said.
  15. I play this game to PvP. Because you guys left stupid DPS Operatives negligible so for long ignoring the thousands of thousands of forum feedback. While continuously buffing (overly) powerful class like deception assassin, marauders, juggernaut. Force Smash monkey is extremely stupid as well and you guys left it in game for so long and its not going anywhere. Yet operative healer is overpowered as hell (which I dont give a crap because I didnt roll operative to be 100% always forever full time healer for the eternity if I want to play ranked WZ or even to be invited to a group to do it. Do you even play your own game? Roll a concealment operative and take him to ranked wf/arena, and see how people just instantly dissing and moaning and humiliating you for playing DPS operative and not a healing bot. I tried to come back to the game multiple times, but you guys are simply a giant failure in balancing classes in PvP. Not everyone wants to play a Sith Warrior or Sith Assasins or a sniper or a full time healer. Check my toons and my history (since you run the game I am sure you can see my actual in game characters), I hardcore PvPed for a long time on multiple classes to top level and came back to try my operative again (and its still an epic fail). I stopped playing my marauder because its too easy mode, and stupidly overpowered, as well as my Powertech, even my Sorc felt overpowered compare to my DPS operative. I will not resubscribe again or make any purchase nor will I suggest any of my gaming buddies to ever try SWTOR ever again since we are all hardcore PvPers looking for competitiveness and game balance, if you let this stupidity continue. Thanks for screwing up such a great game (it was once my favorite PvP game). Learn how to balance or burn in hell. Please shut down SWTOR and bring back SWG or something. You guys are amazingly stupid and ignorant when it comes to your own game. I dont care if I am reported or w/e. Just getting this in before my sub expire. Mods feel free to permanent-ban me if you want, that will just save me a lot of headache. Thank you.
  16. So what ur saying is, if after the 1st coming out of stealth hidden strike is used, its ok to make this spammable in combat like Maul, it will be fine as long as it doesnt stun? I am all for that. Or you are just being hypocrite?
  17. Why is Hidden Strike critting for 7k is terribly bad when Dispatch crits for over 8k, smash AoE auto crits for 10k+ and Maul doesnt even require stealth, and Discharge all ok?
  18. PvP Enforcer: 2-pc bonus should be 15% crit to Shiv and Laceration. 4-pc bonus should be 15% crit to Hidden Strike and Backstab.
  19. I would nerf the **** out of flashbang if they give concealment deception sin burst with their +12s 25% damage mitigation per unstealth + 30% aoe damage mitigation + force shroud. Ya, I thought so.

PvP gear mattered = QQ all gear no skill. /cancel sub PvP gear doesnt matter = QQ no PvP gear progression. /cancel sub PvE gear BiS in PvP = QQ lolwut /cancel sub Its just how it is, I kinda like it this way tho all my rwz comm feel useless, I just keeps buying PvP gear to put in my cargo hold until one day I get full set maybe? And isnt that only like 10% better anyways? If something to /cancel sub over, it will be the pvp balance is stupid at its finest.
  21. I could careless about matchmaking in un-ranked. I just hate to wait around for 10+min per game trying to finish daily on a busy day lol. I like fast queues. un-ranked matchmaking polly only realistic with x-shard queue. Without insane wait time. There's simply too little tanks/healers vs dps guys (aka tanks and healer always insta-queue, dps go sit in line for 20 minutes a game).
  22. I think the reason why the removed 8-men rwz is coz The 8-men rateds emphasized too much on few gg classes. A lot of QQ on extremely unbalanced teams. Lot of mechanics abuses (eg suicidal instant respawn while field is down). And the fact that you get more rwz comms for LOSING then winning a non-rwz game and teams traded wins. and so on...
  23. Give up, only real anti-damage-reveal stealth is force camouflage. You are sol. Well I left the game awhile ago, stuff might have changed, but when I played my marauder, everytime I pop force camo, I can run thru like 8 different AoE (at increased speed as well) and it wouldnt reveal me.

    Dev 1: Hmm there seem to be a lot of complain about smash monkeys, what do you think? we really need to balance it in order to keep more pvpers. Dev 2: Smash is my favorite spec tho, I like how I can completely ignore crit stat and stack surge and power only and still get auto crit on my biggest aoe attacks. Dev 1: Well ok there seem to be a lot of complain about marauder/sentinel overall. Dev 2: Ok then lets just nerf Annihilation and Carnage into the oblivion, so people can be a bit happier thinking like we did something for balance. Dev 3: Phew~~~ yea it will suck if I have to re-mod my gear on my smasher thats super loaded with surge and power. It just blows donkey balls having to balance between crit/surge/power like all other baddie classes. Dev 4: OK then lets nerf those stuff to show that we did some work, and put out the 2.5 patch note. See you guys tomorrow.

I just came back to the game (and is already thinking about cancelling my subscription again for the 3rd time), its depressing Concealment is still kept so terrible when deception has received so many buffs. I PvP, and pretty much only PvP, and SWTOR's pvp balance is just so out of wack, I dont even know where to begin. IMO only thing operative really needs is overall buff to concealment. 1st of all, Hidden Strike (and all other similar coming out of stealth 1 time attacks) in most other triple A title MMOs have a way to be made "very likely" to crit, especially Hidden Strike damage is very underwhelming unless it crits (and even if it crits it doesnt even hit as hard as some other repeatable attacks like many deception Sins have). Use Rift for example Assassinate (same as Hidden Strike but no knockdown) has +50% crit chance when used coming out of stealth and there's also a 30s cooldown ability to allow all stealth only attack to be used while outside of stealth. For PvE, Rift has a coming out of stealth bleed attack that offers higher DPS but little burst. If the goal is NOT to give operative more burst, you must give concealment more out of stealth survivability like deception Sin getting their 6s 25% mitigation. Backstab needs its cooldown to be lowered to 6s again to ensure smoother rotation and game play (backstab will also help with energy management). More reliable proc of collateral damage (since its damage is very low), or lower internal cooldown for the proc, and/or give the proc an energy regeneration effect. Acid blade should either be given higher armor penetration, higher damage or the dot to be made to stack to 2 stacks (to enable AB+HS followed by AB+BS, which will enable more rotation flexibility (higher burst bad energy efficiency or lower burst better energy efficiency). Exfiltrate itself is so wacked since its pretty much your only survivalibility yet using it putting you outside of your effective dps range, the 25% damage mitigation from Deception Sin coming out of stealth (and can be used with sneak outside stealth). This is something concealment could really use (eg better out of stealth survival without buffing its burst damage). Lastly, CONCEALMENT NEEDS 30% AOE REDUCTION LIKE ALL OTHER MELEE CLASSES HAVE. (why dont we have it already?).
