  1. I solo-ran most SM up to lvl 35ish and had 2 drops in Black Talon (duplicate piece) and none in the others. Only did one run in each instance though, so no grinding involved. Can't remember the name of the thing that dropped from BT, but it was an imperial thingy, looking like a control panel, with buttons and stuff on it. Medium size. Kindof the thing Han Solo is speaking into in ep4 when saying "We are fine, how are you" while rescuing Leia.
  2. I tried this fight on my lvl 30 sniper 5 times. I died in gruesome ways each time. I tried the 'hide behind machines to interrupt his casting', I tried the kiting and several other obscure methods. In the end got tired of strategy and decided to give it one last try, simply full-nuke. 1 I sent in Vector (on dot-stance). Once he woke Jadus up, I pulled Vector back, to get Jadus off the platform. 2 I gave him all barrels, without moving from the spot. (While telling Vector to resume the attack ofc). I dished out as much dmg as I could possibly squeeze in. No running, no hiding, no backing off. 3 I used interrupts whenever I could, but I never moved from the spot. If he came too close I knocked him back. Therefore I could spam my heavy dmg abilities. Jadus was dead in no-time, and I was alive and somewhat surprised. I tried the same strategy each phase during the fight. No problem. Didn't expect it to work... but it did.
  3. I asked about Jabbas palace, not the final duel. I was curious about Lukes dark/light transgression in that particular stage of the movie, not the scenes after that. Pay attention next time...
  4. I'm sorry it hasn't dropped for you yet, but you just have to take our word for it - it does drop on Hoth. I wish I could prove it to you, but I have no screenshots or anything. Just hang in there, you will find it, and when you do you will be veeeery happy
  5. ^ In my eyes, this is canon Revan will always be female in my memory banks.
  6. Assassin on Luka Sene here. I farmed the Talz Taskmaster, Talz Veteran and Dootu Mu Bacha on Hoth for a few days until the robe dropped. I think I had somewhere around 220 kills of each mob before I got the robe. On the bright side, I got the Head, Boots & Bracers in the meantime, and roughly 1m creds (including selling all the stuff I didn't want on GTN). I didn't bother with the leggings since I prefer the looks of the imperial trooper pants with the supreme robe. In the end it was the Talz Taskmaster who dropped the robe. Dootu Mu Bacha dropped lots of orange stuff (almost 50% orange drop rate) so my companions got some nice gear as well. All I can say is - if you want to farm the mobs for the drop, be prepared for a long run. Unless you are lucky. After all, random drop is random, as they say. Maybe you get it on the first kill, maybe on your thousandth kill. (edit: Just want to clarify that the robe dropped just 2 days ago (june 13), so it's absolutely confirmed to be available from Hoth after the latest patch.)
  7. I'm sorry if this is something that has been discussed before, but I haven't seen it on these forums or googlesearches. When watching the scene from SW6, when Luke enter Jabbas throneroom to negotiate for cpt Solo; is Luke under dark side influences? Youtube link to the scene: *He use forcechoke on the guards. *He use forcepersuade on Fortuna. While being used by the jedi, I thought this was only as a last resort, not in a situation like this. *He tell Jabba to (not accurate quote) "Hand him solo or be destroyed" *He wear black (sure, it's just a color, but it seems to be attributed to people in the SW movies who follow the dark path or are about to cross the line) *When threatened, he levitate a pistol to his hand, about to aim at Jabba. Not sure if he mean to shoot or just threaten. Is this just an act he is playing to free Solo? I'm a SW fan, but I don't know all the facts behind the scenes, nor the complete lore. If some SW scholar out there could enlighten me on this, I'd be grateful.
  8. DPS meters are only good for good players. Crappy players will think they are good just because they have high dps and it becomes a contest who can top the charts. Yes, high dps is good, but a lot of people become so obsessed with 'winning' the dps race that they skip other practical skills such as interrupting or cc'ing simply because it takes away time they could dish out their precious dmg instead. A good dps know when it's better to do less dmg, instead of always trying to max it. A good dps fill more roles than just dmg, but those things are often hard to meassure using meters. A player may have potential to be highest dps in the group, but simply because he keep stunnlocking mobs attacking the healer, CC'ing unexpected adds or interrupting the casters, it will 'look' like he is crappy, even though he pulled more than his own weight. So in a way it's a two edged sword. I'm all for dps meters, but only in the hands of those who know how to play.
