Seisaan Posted June 2, 2012 Share Posted June 2, 2012 Aside from just being too much for the devs to handle right now what with server transfers and 1.3, one a month would get predictable. One of the things that make the Rakghoul event special was that there was no announcement for it, it just popped up one day and stayed for a couple weeks. There should be Rift type events constantly in Tor, "invasions", 'incursions", "raids" by the opposing npc factions, there is no excuse to not have this feature in the first place and no excuse for such a feature not already on the table and being worked on. Just because another game does it, does not mean this game should not do it. What kind of logic is that anyway? Each suggestion should be weighed on its own merit, not whether or not it has or has not been done before and in what game. Just about everything's been done before anyway. I remember in the story saying that they could chew through metal, so weapons vendors can get colicoids from a balmorran arms shipment (since they were originally intended to be used as living weapons) and they could take over starting with the Senate Commerical District.
