In the beginning people were crying bloody murder in argument against any...ANY.....World Of Warcraft features. While not the only factor but a major one for the mass exodus being TOR practically defunct because of no WoW features, so many of those same people against are now in favor. While the majority of "fans" have been from the start flippant and contradictory, doing the about-face again and again, the majority in favor of the way things should have been from the get go have not changed.....the other hundreds of thousands (millions?) have already left the Sybil parade.

And you haven't repeated yourself over and over again? People use the same arguments over and over just in different ways or turns of phrase, including you.....over and over and over and over etc.. ad infinitum. If you are going to argue then argue appropriately, but keep in mind that being a hypocrite lends all of your arguments moot.

Well, TOR is piece of crap so the denizens can relieve themselves anywhere they want and it won't make a difference.

As big as Bioware tried to make TOR sound, it was an out and out lie, you can't even go outside of Anchorhead very far without dying in the "exhaustion zone" as one small example. Areas are very small and mobs extremely sparse and exact in placement. The result is when an area becomes even a little busy you either wait in line or runa round trying to snipe the mobs away from the other players. And despite what others have written, not everyone wants to group and I'm talking about the other guy/gal which they don't seem to fathom, they assume that everyone will group and its ridiculous.

OMG! LOL.....I can go buy a crappy gaming mouse with a bunch of buttons that will do just as good as a Naga. If you had any experience with a properly combined set of peripherals you would never have written that post. Thanks for the laugh, good one.

There are always people upset by some action, irrelevant. I read the posts and there is noway for them to know that they made the names first, impossible, utterly impossible. A complaint is not constructive and that is all this thread is along with your posts while I am the only one to actually offer up a soloution to keep the spelling of your name, so you are wrong again. Preach to the choir, alot of people have alot of complaints about a great many issues and you are not above them. And since "nothing more needs to be said" does that mean you are done or are you going to continue to repeat yourself?

Too bad the majority didn't feel this way so TOR would not have shutdown 189 servers and preparing for the F2P conversion because of the massive player losses. To answer the OP, I truly enjoy the visual style, animations and sounds but unfortunately that is all I like, everything else is sub-par.

How is it a mistake? Where is the post form Bioware saying that there was a mistake? Where is your list of the other player names creation date, sub history, time played? I'd like to see it so you can show me the mistake.

TOR, the mmo with the most money dumped into it in the history of MMO's during production and they couldn't put in these standard, expected features and more that are not even on the horizon. People cried about how they don't want "WoW in space" and when the standard features of WoW didn't make it into TOR people left a mass exodus because it failed to have the now expected "quality of life features". 1.4 does not rock....1.4 is just a small piece of the catchup race Bioware is scrambling to implement.

Its only hard if people don't take the 30 seconds to print out a short-card of the accent codes, not an excuse. The name you choose could very well translate to something naughty or silly to someone as well in their language, not an excuse. There are always the utter dumbfounded as an exception but anyone that has been playing mmo's for even a short while understands that accents are there to get the name you want and disregards them. I would not want to be around to hear the complaints if you spilled a large glass of milk.

Do you have any G-Series keyboard? or any of the pad addons like the G-13? If not spending money on either of those mice are a waste.

The only reason TOR will not shutdown in the near future is because Bioware/EA hopes that going F2P will give them the profit they don't have now. A sub fee is perfectly viable as seen at this very moment in many games but TOR is just not good enough to keep enough players happy to hand over a sub fee every month. TOR will slug along as a F2P title as a niche game. Is becoming a niche game really that bad? no, but there are many players here that are clearly under the illuision that TOR is not in trouble when it most certainly is, period.

TOR is a failure because management failed to do their jobs correctly, its that simple.

TOR was screwed the day Greg and Ray signed up with EA, if there is anyone at fault for the utter mess that is TOR it is Ray and Greg directly, period.

That is a fundamental design flaw making the game areas far too small and not enough alternate areas to complete things. TOR may look big but its actual play area is very small and set out like a path, very silly indeed.

There are so many huge issues with TOR (hence the massive sub losses/server shutdowns etc..) that its going F2P and will never achieve what it should have from the start. So, yes, I would love to see all the issues resolved and TOR run the way it was expected by millions but is it going to happen? Not in this era.
