ZedFighter
At a few points in the video he mentions major drops in FPS and this is in the starting zone. I really want to see this in action during Fleet primetime with about 150-200 people and some Ilum/wz action as well. http://www.youtube.com/user/Jessescustompcs?feature=watch#p/u/4/g8khQOVsCU0
Juanxlink
The engine sux, the rig is not to be looked upon. Biodrones will tell you otherwise.
chrisftw
will that give you an unfair advantage in PVP if you can see 180 degrees from where your character is standing?
Juanxlink
will that give you an unfair advantage in PVP if you can see 180 degrees from where your character is standing? Go to setting and set the camera to max distance, that there is a 180+ degree vision.

Galbatorrix
I'm using an onboard video card and I get a steady 30 FPS on fleet and in WZ. That may not seem good to you 100 FPS people, but 30FPS looks just fine to me.
Annndy
personally i dont have any issues but those of you that do just need to give them some time every PC game these days has performance issues on release and it usually doesnt get much better till about 6 months in so i'd say by summer we should see some nice changes
Lokiliesmith
My computer was 900, the video card was 150. I get 65+ FPS. I don't know what to tell you, man. My last card did have problems, I replaced it because particle effects were kicking its ***. 550ti and everything is better.
Ancientwolfgr
Proof positive that if you know what you are doing, you don't have to spend 5k on a rig. 60+ fps on 1k rigs can be common. <chuckles>

Galbatorrix
I call absolute and utter BS on this. Think what you want. I just rerolled on a heavy server and I don't have any stuttering on fleet or in WZs at all. I played 5 or 6 warzones on my trooper the other day and it felt pretty smooth over all. Enable your FPS display (CTRL SHIFT F)... take several screenshots while in combat in WZs and in Ilum... then post them. What are your specs? Thanks. ZedFighter
I'm sorry but, my PC ran me 1500 and I run as well as this guy. This post was to point out how 5K won't give you the outstanding performance you might think (with swtor). Showing just how bad the engine and coding really is. Dropping from 110+ frames down to 32 is something that shouldn't happen on a beastly PC like that

EDIT: What a TERRIBLE benchmark for the game! the cards alone are 1200 to 1400 hundred bucks . with that said SLI 590 gtx does not yield anymore FPS then my single 590 gtx . in all honesty Bioware has a **** load of work to do. Uruare
Should've played something with genuinely impressive graphics. Also, hire an editor for your web presence publications, guy. Rampant typos on a digital marketplace venue don't generate confidence. Wouldn't hurt to do some script rehearsal before recording either. Ani-so-tro-py, yo! And its 'Conversation Depth of Field', not 'conversion'. Oy! Edited February 20, 2012 by Uruare
Gungan
Seriously, is this guy advertising his custom PC business, or is he just trying to sell copies of SWTOR, cuz he really just sounds like a fanboy.
