Ziegler Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 They could put on the CE vendor a "custom parts" upgrade for it that changes the color scheme and bumps it up to the L2 or L3 stats. Something like 1/2 or 3/4 the price of the normal speeders for that level...or hell, I'd be ok with paying full price for the upgrade but whatever. To me it's like asking Ford to go back and give my limited edition car from 2011 HID headlights because they are on the 2012 model. How is my car cool and 'limited edition' rare if a plain car on the lot 3 months later has more features? Or the Yamaha home amp I bought that was top dollar for the wattage and low signal to noise ratio then literally the next year's model is better but $300 cheaper. Or I believed NVIDIA when they told me this video card was THE BEST one ever made with nothing on the planet better and before UPS can even deliver it to my door there is a better one now being sold by NVIDIA. The moral of the story is just don't spend extra money to get the premium when it's just a waste of money. The only advantage is having a slight edge above everyone else for a very short period of time. Had I known that I wouldn't be allowed to ride it until level 25, I would not have purchased the upgraded version of the game. Yep thats pretty much the case with all "Special" Editions of MMO's, the stuff is pretty much junk, the only thing I use is the speeder for my alts which saves me 8k credits, but by the time I hit lvl 25, 8k credits is a drop in the bucket anyways.... Every game that comes out people buy CE.. using 150 euros for something isnt guaranteed to be worthy, but they keep doing it. -Fritz- Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 the main reason i purchased the DDE instead of the normal game is i thought it would be a bit easier to level my first character with the money id save on the speeder and i thought some of the items might be fun to have at max level, but honestly at this point i regret the decision. The items just take up space in my bank and money is not so hard to come by that getting a free speeder is going to change much of anything for me. at least i didnt get taken for the CE edition, lol.
