I'm currently using the Virtuous Strategist Lightsaber as a consular (stripped out all the mods and used my consular ones). I like the look and activation sound. What are some other good hilts? Loved the detail on the hilt of the head of the Jedi Training academy on the Starter planet. Her lightsaber hilt was gorgeous. Do player hilts get that detailed? Blackavaar Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) I like the Dread Marauder's Offhand Saber. It looks like the classic Darth Vader hilt and it has a nice deep buzz. I hate the starter saber...nice techy bits, some leather wrapped around the handle, and a comically huge red button, like we still can't be trusted to know how to turn a saber on and off without a 'Push Right Here' kind of indicator. I LOVE the fact that the champion Sentinel saber looks like that, and I found a main hand one that matches. When they let use mod PvP gear I will so be duel-wielding that type of hilt. The champion pvp one is nice, save for the giant end of the blue crystal that sticks out of the base of the hilt. Nice find, but is certainly is not all the light sabers.. The assassins starting saber for instance(my fav), actually there are no double sabers shown. Malkalis Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) Yeah, I HAD the player made double lightsaber and it was the coolest one I've ever seen. It looked like it was an old style can opener on each end, sorta like the double spiked (tuning fork), except it only had 1 spike. It was black. Best part was the joining section. It was open, except for a "cage" around a crystal in the middle. The crystal color matched whatever was the crystal in your lightsaber. How cool is that! I say HAD it, as it's only a player made weapon and did not match the Columi weapon. Most of the time the icon will match the hilt so you can look in game on the GTN, Comms Vendors, PVP etc for that icon and it should be what you're looking for if I referenced the correct saber.
