Okay .... companions op = lots of newbs enjoying the game, might stick around longer ....drop a dollar here n there. companions not OP: lots of peeps suck at leveling, die ...cant do FPs because groupsfinder will pit you with another 3 dps, no chance to fill group with companions, get frustrated, leave game. less people to play with means longer que times, less buyers on GTN, servers feeling empy....you know that. Just saying, make the game a cruel grind so you ****ed up mongrels can feel special and play in your own little empty world. I for one couldnt care less tbh. Oh and 50% of current peopulation will leave anyways next autumn due to legion coming out. happy now? enjoy your pathetic and useless companions.

heres the funny thing .... people complained about getting kicked by groups because the healer companion was better than the actual healer. My guess, it simply was a moron who queued as both dmg and heal and didnt toss one heal at all. Now you have to suffer through a broken GF system and cant even fill your group with companions because they suck. Just keep looking for a decent group which takes ages but dont get your hopes up for a system that actually works. This is ****ed up lazy mentally challenged coding here.

there was a poll when companions were buffed and people voted in favor of op companions. So yes, it was a vocal minority that mainly brought us this nerf. Plus an incompetent company of course.

actually ...some hard stuns and their DRs in wow are better solved than the unbalanced resolve crap that is going on here. ( sec in cc and resolve isnt full? and when it is full it sometimes starts wearing offw hile still in cc? that is so much fail I cant even find proper words for it.

pretty much lackluster class/ spec. you may have the potential to burst crazy numbers, but you really need a pocket healer or better two for that. if you dont have that you die during cc. your survivability and dmg compared to that other tanky class (PT derp) is laughable. I dont even think juggs can duel anything right without backup.

It is funny, after 3 to 4 years of abscence from this game, nothing has really changed. CC is still a joke, there are hard stuns that last for 8 secs but stil dont fill your bar completely. There are tank classes that have no real defensive against specific dmg types while others simply take less dmg when cc'd while dishing out ridiculous dmg numbers. This game is so far off in terms of balance although there are only 4 core classes. I mean how hard can it be? atm all I see in warzones is powertechs and sorcs, really that is all. the few ops and knights are neglectible. And I dont even know how there can be arena /ranked whatever seasons. In my current mindset I'd create a premade for ranked stacked with sorcs and pts and faceroll myself through everything because dmg, survivability and heal is grossly op on those classes. And I dont see this will ever change. As I said, 4 years, not one lesson learnt. Might as well hire holinka to balance pvp here, same results as in WoW

if I cant play the story because I die over and over again I wont play at all at some point. the grindy aspect of the game drove me away in the first place ...now I can be quick about it thanks to companions. but hey, if you like wasting your time on grinding, play without a companion, or play double dps, not that lame tank /heal duo crap you showed off.

Let me break it down for you. grinding sucks. unkless you are asian. then you like it. replaying the same content over and over again sucks, too. dying while doing so is even worse. I played at launch, I know of the dilemma that was comps, now I started new and I love the fact that I can go afk without dying. Simply love it. I can "enjoy" the story because I dont need to gather groups for quests, or whatever nonesense. I can easily breeze through. If you dont like it, dont play with a comp. But for new players it is awesome to get into the game. I mean, storywise I am meant to be uber whatever, so just let me have fun being uber I will get wooped in pvp anyways, so whatever.

Here's the thing and this would make everything about this game a lot easier. People cry, they always do. However, they cry when they pay for the game or paid for it and want to return, somehow, but dont feel the fee matches the outcome. Thus they cry ...or complain ...or rant. Here's the solution: Dont cry, dont rant, dont complain. Simply quit. And that's it. BW is buisness so is EA and both companies only speak one language: Profit. So cut the profit and see how it goes. Would this improve the game? Of course not. Why? Because it is easier and cheaper to simply shut the whole thing down if there were only 50k people left to play and pay for the game. Does complaining and ranting help you? No it does not. In fact it will not change a thing. You will see lazy additions to the game like the life day stuff which is just another chance to squeeze out some bucks. Nothing more. So here's the solution to everyone who complains, and I dont want to get rid of you but want you to simply THINK about your actions and the possible outcomes. The solution is to quit. Quit the game and let it die. Or stay and shut uo or rant or whatever. Doesnt matter at all as long as you pay.

Wow, just wow. I have never heard of an MMO which offers holiday stuff for real cash. There are always events. Helloween was presented in GW2 , DCUO, WoW to name a few. BioWare is not able to honor that MMO tradition and whether you like it or not it is some sort of tradition and a lot of people celebrate and take part in these events. And all we get is a bunch of crappy looking generic stuff for which they will charge us? Are you effing kidding me? Here's the deal to repay the jerks. Cancel your sub or simply dont buy that crap. Dont waste your coins on that crap, just dont. Send them a message ...let them know how you think of Bioware screwing up things again and again.

pre NGE. Duels lasted over 15 mins. I had a duel which lasted 20 mins against a TKA mate ...I won, 5 secs later the server went down for restarts. That was epic. Oh and Jedi lasted forever. Literally forever, but they deserved being op because becoming a Jedi was pure grind.

I'd love to see this one: Switched to the unreal 3 engine. Game now runs like a charm, every animation glitching and animation canceling/lag issues have been fixed now. Experience a smoother gameplay like you already do in WoW. Oh and a new class: Entertainer: trees are: Dancer, Musician, Image Designer.

Not entirely true. Name at least two sandbox games that are worth paying for. I can only think of one which is EVE online although gameplay is boring as hell there the rest of the sandbox is great. What else do we have? Mortal Online? Hell, it is a disaster. Dark Fall? There's coming a sequel. SWG was a great game .... and I also liked the jedi grind. I would love to have something like that again ...but I would also have some more depth like in EVE where you actually can lose all your stuff. Whyis this important? Because the fear of losing everything builds communities ...connects people. Face it guys, sandboxes have more community than a 10 mil subbers game like WoW. Sandbox is so much more MMO and themepark got rid of the massive aspect ...literally.

dont blame the hero engine ...it is such a great engine. I mean they could have easily get the unreal 3 engine which works fine and stuff but they decided to pick a crappy engine instead with which they clearly had no experience.

This is what I dont get ...you complain about people grouping and pvping while you que solo in your crappy gear and getting facerolled. Well guess what, this will happen in every game because people who communicate via TS almost always win against a group of non coordinated non communative people. I mean ...BW already changed resolve in favor of the noobs so they can spam ccs like mad without being punished for it. That is already enough noob boosting in pvp ...way too much

Some of you miss the point. Even if you are on the stomper's side you still need someone to stomp. If that someone qont que anymore, who are you gonna stomp then? What I find funny is the 180 degree turn the game has made ...from "pvp fights take a long time" in beta to "you kill people in seconds" now.

Keep in mind ...rage)focus is grounded on smash/sweep and that's about it. Almost everything in these trees supports the said abilities on way or another. So nerfing the core ability might break the spec. Just saying, nerf only wont do if you really want to get rid of burst potencial. However, it is an AOE spec and renderign it to uselessness is something I also consider a broken tree. Maybe a slight reduce in singularity and a reduce to smash cds to use that ability more frequently but with less impact would do. To take out the burst and make it more substained dmg. Just a quick idea ...nothin fancy

This bug is in the game since release ...just saying. Cant be that hard to fix, can it?
